Basic information

I found much of the knowledge presented as common sense, if you read any fitness books. It was too preachy and inflexible for me. That's just me. Others who like a straight forward plan might enjoy it. One thing to take away, walking is good and will probably help anyone who needs to improve their fitness level. So walk, everyday.

Love the progra

This book is great for the walker just getting started. Love the 9-week program and that it focuses on only one new thing each week.

Good, practical guidance.

I appreciate this step by step approach that lets me ease into the program. Good food tips, exercise progression, including some spiritual elements. Well balanced and not preachy.

I was interested to see f this was a good idea/plan, but the second the author said go gluten free, it was all over! I am so tired of being told to go gluten free, I could scream. If you do not have celieac's then you don't need to be gluten free! Eat pasta and carry on!
