Wolves of the Five Tribes #2

The Alpha King: A Titanic Shifter Romance

Rate this book
ON THE NIGHT of April 14th, 1912, the RMS Titanic sank to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. More than 1,000 souls perished, and those few who survived were taken by the Carpathia to safety in New York.

Among those survivors was a shifter.

Thomas Smith was supposed to die. He should have been taken to the depths, but something made him fight back to the surface. Some force... an irresistible pull. Something told him he needed to survive.

Thomas Smith was reborn in the icy water. Something else emerged from the ocean... something stronger. A man who would be king...

... And every king needs his queen.

Evelyn Darkfang may just be that queen. The fiery, quick-witted, barb-tongued niece of the Darkfang alpha may be the woman Thomas has waited a century to find. She may be the woman to make him whole...

... If she doesn't kill him first.

The Alpha King is a prequel to the 2013 international bestseller The First Alpha, included within this eBook.

Multiple authors with same name, this author is entered with 2 spaces.

K A Taylor is the pen name of the internationally bestselling erotic author Aya Fukunishi. Her erotic stories can be found here: http://amazon.com/author/ayafukunishi.

While Aya's stories are hot and heavy, K A writes romance novels and novellas with a broader appeal. The camera may not pan away to a lace curtain wafting in the breeze, but the loves scenes are a lot less graphic than the raunchy content of Aya's books.

Both K A and Aya can be found occupying the same body in the streets of Bangkok, snacking on Pad Thai and poor imitations of pizza, dreaming up the next story.

First Alpha - Cass and Adam are great characters. Cass does what she feels is right for her pack, regardless of the consequences to her. Adam roams the earth, almost aimlessly until he meets Cass. There are some things in this story that may cause triggers for some.

The Alpha King - I wasn't sure what to expect from this story. It is the start of Evelyn and Rutherford's tale. When it began, I had a hard time getting pulled into it. It took me a bit before I really became obsessed with finding out what was going to happen.

I loved how in both stories, some characters are portrayed as almost weak, but in reality, they are the strongest. I enjoyed both stories immensely and will definitely be reading more from this author!!

This was a really good book. I did not think I would finish it as quick as I did but I could not put it down. The story itself was greatly written and a great length. I do wish it has a bit more story to it but that is not entirely correct. I guess I just need to know more about Rutherford and Evelyn and all the other tribe members!!
I am excited to read more books in this series when they come out.

Good story

The first half of this book is actually the first book of the series. A very well written story. The Alpha King story was good but not what I expected from the name of the book. It does however explain how Evelyn became the woman she was in the first book.
