Is he the man who lost his wife and burned the world down hunting the person who killed her? Or is he the man who lost his wife and returned to ashes?
If you don't know who Finsbury Gage is yet you'll want to start at the beginning, with Second Skyn, the first part of Lost Time. 'Cause the rest from here on out gets pretty spoilery.
Second Skyn [Lost Time:Part One]: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017... . . . Are they gone?
In Social Faith Finsbury will find answers, tempt Fate, and learn nothing is as it seems.
Okay, so maybe not that spoilery. I'll just say this: if you've liked the story so far, hold on. Part four kicks into a new gear, and everything will be revealed in Lost Time: Part 5 [Sync], on March 26.
Damien grew up on Terminator and Raymond Chandler and Green Lantern. On Deus Ex and PWEI. Blade Runner is his chicken soup when he's sick. He rereads Neuromancer every few years, and still loves the image of payphones ringing one by one as Case walks by, anachronistic or not.
He's a UX designer by day, a dad and husband by night, and a writer in the moments in between.
What a great series this is. I loved this third book, filled with action and technology twists. The chase scene between Fin-in-Dora and Gage is easily the equal of any James Bond movie. Bring on book 4.
Good series - I definitely recognized some of the ingredients here, a bit of Blade Runner, a smidge of Neuromancer... looking forwards to the next one!
If you've read this far you might as well finish it. This was a fun ride, fast paced and exciting. Major plot lines are tied up, as we find what has happened. A good end to a good story.
I have been unable to stop reading one after another of this series. The story is thoroughly captivating although at times challenging to keep up. I loved all the twists and turns and the concepts in this world, as well as the characters. Apart from some minor editing issues I was very much entertained and look forward to reading more about the characters.
