I like my visits to the Adirondack Pack, I get to meet sexy, sassy as well as dominant and submissive wolves. In the ongoing story arc the Canidae wolves are causing problems for Owen's pack, they have kidnapped and killed now we add blackmail to that. this is why Susquehanah pack enforcer Miles is in New York to aid in solving the problem, he lost his wife Meridian to them. Lylia came to Jett from a Canidae pack seeking help and admittance the pack which he granted and his son Owen continues however, Jett died with the secret of Lylia's parentage. Lylia is Owen's personal assistant she has been blackmailed for about five years now. Miles discovers that Lylia is being blackmailed and what follows is a story of growing attraction that neither want to face for their own reasons.
That is just the beginning of this tail LOL. I really liked how Ms. Stewart brought all of the treads together as far as the initial story arc and I'm left wondering if this is the end of the series or will some other problem show up in a future book regarding the Adirondack pack. I can proudly recommend this to all wolf shifter lovers out there.

Highly entertaining, emotionally thrilling, sexy, engaging and enchanting romantic adventure filled with secrets, danger, betrayal and irresistible passion.... Could not put this one down, was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end and was still hungry for more.... I must now read the rest of this amazing shifter series stories.

K.C. Pulls off another amazing shifter book. Miles is one stubborn wolf, but when he loves, he loves hard, and that’s exactly what Lylia needs. Such a great book!!!

Lylia had been blackmailed for the past three years and her bank account was seriously depleted. She didn’t know exactly “who” her blackmailer was, but it was definitely the Canidae group, shifters who embraced their wild wolf nature. Some were vicious and others harmless. She had once been Canidae herself before she ran away to Jett’s pack. He kept her secret; now Owen is the alpha. She should have gone to her alpha or the enforcer when this started. But she didn’t. Now Miles, a visiting enforcer on loan from the Susquehanna Pack, is on the scene investigating the Canidae situation and her secret may be uncovered.
A dozen alphas met together, and Owen was having a hard time keeping them all under control. Each of them was used to being in charge of their pack and now were battling for dominance among their equals. It wasn’t a pretty sight! They had made little progress in the Canidae talks, which Miles figured meant that they did not have as serious a problem with them as Owen and his own pack, where deaths and disappearances were happening. But on break for lunch, Miles was given info that Canidae were here, so Owen cancelled the remainder of the meeting. They hadn’t made much progress anyway, and at least they noted the wolves that would likely support them.
Going into Lylia’s office to leave her a note about the meeting ending early, Miles finds a blackmail note in Lylia’s desk. With Lylia hiding something, Miles will be keeping a close eye on her; yet a definite attraction begins to develop between them, even though neither wants that for their own reasons. Where will this lead? And what shocking facts will emerge from their investigation into the Canidae?
This is a very good book with a strong, fast story line. The characters are powerful and well developed. The plot is engaging and keeps the reader’s interest as answers and further questions are revealed. You will definitely want to read this one!

FASCINATING INTRIGUING SHIFTER STORY which lured me in keeping me hooked until the conclusion. Inside; horrific danger, life-threatening incidents, heart-rendering moments, powerful vivid scene descriptions, a cast of praise-worthy engaging characters, humor, and a well deserved happily ever after.
Lylia has been paying large amounts of hush-money to the evil Canidae pack for years; this secret haunts her daily. She is desperate to speak to her boss Owen alpha of the Adirondack pack regarding this issue but fears his reaction. Miles the enforcer from the Susquehanna pack is an invited guest to help train the new enforcer of Owen's pack. He believes Lylia has a hidden agenda and is determined to find out what it is. Miles can be terrifying at times but is definitely eye-appealing. Undying memories from his past still haunt him. Lylia and Miles face quite a few dangerous challenges to get to their happily ever after.
CAPTIVATING and well-written story. Lylia and Miles have great chemistry and certainly make a terrific couple; loved them together. Backstories of the lead characters help you understand their personas. The message in this story is to trust enough to ask for help. I found this to be a most entertaining read. {Of my own volition without any stipulations, I reviewed an advanced copy from Booksprout.} Without any reservations, I recommend this read.

Lylia has been part of the pack so long that sometimes she forgets she wasn't born to it. But someone knows her deep, dark secret and they are blackmailing her and bleeding her dry.
Miles, an Enforcer, from an allied pack has been around the pack a lot lately, training Carter to take over from Tyson as Enforcer. He has heartache of his own, his wife was taken by the Canidae. So fair to say Miles is in the bite first ask questions later camp when it comes to the Canidae. He gets an itchy feeling around Lylia, knowing she is hiding something from him and the pack. But when he uncovers the truth, will he help her or abandon her?
Miles sure keeps your head on the swivel! He is all over the place, he like Lylia but doesn't trust her and her secrecy. For her part Lylia wants to stay under the radar but she is drawn to the tall, brooding and downright scowly Enforcer. I loved learning more about the Canidae and that they are not the monsters they have so far been portrayed as, as usual they are more than 2 sides to every story. I was sad that tragedy again strikes for Lylia but it was handled in a very respectful way and it wasn't the bloodbath there could have been. I felt Miles did convert to believing Lylia a bit quick but other than that I highly enjoyed the book.

This Adirondack Pack series gets Better and Better!!!
Lylia is administrator to the pack Alpha. She is being blackmailed, and the threats have escalated making it harder and harder to make the required payments. If her secret is revealed she will be forced to leave the pack. Miles is the pack enforcer – he realizes there is something going on with Lylia and begins to keep a very close eye on her.
Miles' personality and temper may leave much to be desired but he was eye candy. She missed the days when she could ogle from afar and not get caught. Now every time she looked his way, he was right there making eye contact. Ogling cannot involve eye contact, then it's flirting, and that just seemed... wrong. The guy was married even if there was a heavy chance she was dead. He had baggage
As the investigation reveals truths, and the danger escalates; these two become very close. An emotional read with intrigue, romance and pack loyalties all pushed to the very edge of existence!!

K.C. did an excellent job in this romantic suspense thriller, the kept you intrigued through almost every chapter I loved Lylia and Miles story from hate into a friendship and maybe more, even though Lylia had been lying for years she was a good friend and employee to her alpha at all times. Miles is an enforcer who is in the Adirondacks to do a job and Lylia is a very suspicious person in his eyes worst part is she tries to run when he asks her some questions she gives herself away maybe even as a spy for the Canidae. It was a plot line that I have been waiting for for a long time because the Canidae have been killing for a long time. Still unconvinced that they got them all but that's another story line. Good book, enjoyed the new characters as well as the camaraderie they all shared as a pack and how Owen inspired total loyalty in most of his wolves. In Too Deep is book 5 in the Adirondack Pack and would be best read as part of the series instead of a standalone. A lot of the characters from old books make appearances and play big roles in the book. Lylia is hiding a big secret and paying out more than she can afford in blackmail. Miles is on loan as the pack enforcer and quickly catches on that something shady is happening. Bordering on rude, Miles forces Lylia to tell him what is going on as attraction flairs between them. Both of them have grief to deal with and bad guys to stop before they can find an emotional HEA that will be shadowed with sadness. A compelling paranormal story that does not fall victim to the oversexed plots found in too many of the genre. The story is fast paced and the characters pull at the heartstrings for another good addition to the series. My voluntary, unbiased review is based upon a review copy.

I was lucky to read and review the previous book in this series, and it was so good that when this one came up for review, I jumped at the chance to review it and I wasn't disappointed. The author has that magic that once you start the book just don't want to put it down. The characters are believable and easy to engage with and the story keeps giving. It's also one of those books that I could write so much about but I hate when reviewer give away the storyline and spoil it for other readers. And if I could have I would have definitely given this book way more than five stars. If you enjoy Paranormal Romance with shifters, then you will truly enjoy this book. This is a part of a series but it is not necessary to have read previous books. It is a true stand alone.
This story follows Lylia as she is blackmailed by an unknown entity she is sure is from the Canidae pack. She tries to hide it from her Alpha and the visiting enforcer Miles.
Lylia has many secrets including what might have happened to Miles' wife. Miles knows she is hiding things and is determined to find out what. As Lylia's secrets start to be revealed their attraction is harder to fight.
I really liked the fast pace of the story and that I could follow the characters without having read any of the other books in the series. As the truth comes out you get to find out how strong Lylia really is and how soft Miles can be.

Lylia has been with the current pack for years and for five she;s been blackmailed by her old pack. They threatened to reveal her past with her old pack that was causing alot of trouble withe other packs. Then one day she;s found out by the enforcer that had been sent to this pack. She;s terrified to reveal her old allegiance because the enforcer lost his wife to her old pack through their lying. Things come to a head when Miles, the enforcer, learns of her lies and if not for the intervention of the pack leader, Owen, would have harmed Lylia. But in the unraveling truths are outed, some worse than others, but she;s no longer alone in this fight and fright. Then on a drop to pay the blackmail, she;s attacked and hurt. Everyone;s life is changed.

OMG K. C. Stewart has written an amazing shifter story! I LOVE this story of Lylia and Miles.
Miles is a visiting enforcer to the Adirondack pack who discovers Lylia has secrets that she is determined to keep from the pack!
Miles follows her into enemy territory and the discovery that he makes is devastating to Miles, that she is paying off the Canidee Pack and her reasons for it.

This is a wonderful, intriguing book and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. This book is about a young woman (Lylia) with secrets & she is being blackmailed because of them. A enforcer (Miles) on loan from another pack discovers this and decides to tail her, so that he can confirm his suspicions. What you will find in this book is: drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, enemies, rivals, secrets, blackmail, danger, adventure, action, attractions, memories, misunderstandings, lust, passion, love & romance. The story-line is impressive and well-written, the plot is taut and suspenseful. The characters are well developed, and realistic with their feelings. I would recommend this book.

I get excited when I see one of K.C. Stewart’s books on Booksprout I always have to get a copy to read and review and this is book 4 of the Adirondack pack series. Lylia has been blackmailed for years by someone from the Canidae pack the pack that she ran from. Miles is the enforcer of the Susquehanna pack and he’s been invited into Owen’s pack to investigate the Canidae pack. When Miles meets Lylia he knows that she is hiding something and he will do what it takes to find out her secrets. I loved this story there’s hot chemistry between Miles and Lylia plus action, danger, betrayal, twists and turns and so much more, a very entertaining story that you won’t be able to put down. A 5 plus ++++ ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Brilliant end (?) to a great series
WOW what a great story kept me enthralled to the last page with surprises galore and a real story not just sex ( in fact this probably had the east amount of sexy scenes in any shifter story I have read )It really is a story that will be more easily understood if you have read at least one of the earlier books but can be read as a stand alone if you haven't . Even though so many of the peripheral characters in this book have " moved on /had their hea "I do hope we get more stories of this calibre as the whole series has been a delight to read

I love the Adirondack Pack. There are so many great characters. Miles is not part of the pack but he has been connected for some time, he is surly and never smiles, he has an axe to grind over the disappearance of his wife and he will hurt anyone who is in his way. Lylia is the alpha's assistant. She has a secret that she doesn't want anyone to find out, especially Miles. But as always happens the secret is uncovered and while Miles is the first to confront her she is surprised by the support she gets and the lack of judgment. This book brings closure for Miles and the pack over the Canidae issue that has been plaguing them. Another great read in this series.

This is the first book that I have read from this author. I really enjoyed the story
as it had a lot of intrigue with likeable characters.
Lylia is a female wolf shifter that has fled from her home pack and has ended up in the
Adirondack Pack. Lylia has a lot of secrets and she has been getting blackmailed for it.
Miles is a pack enforcer who is on loan to the Adirondack Pack until they determine and train
an enforcer of their own. Miles is the typical alpha enforcer type who Lylia has managed
to go undetected from.
The book is light on the romance and steaminess, but it makes up for it in the story.
Overall I recommend this series.

If you’ve been following the series, this is Lylia’s and Miles’s story. Both are loners fighting some of the same demons and enemies. Lila is the assistant to the Alpha of one pack and Miles is the enforcer from another. You will get more background on both of them and the Canidae.
If you like Wolf Shifter stories this is the series for you. This is the fourth full length story in the series, but can be read as a stand-alone, but really, I recommend starting with the first book of the series, ‘Too Far Gone’.
Not quite 5 star due to some editing that needs done.

The twisted politics and protocols of shifters have never been so thoroughly entertaining and thrilling! This amazing book completely entranced me, from the first to last page. Wonderfully written and full of characters you want to meet in real life, this book is a reader’s escapism dream.

The twisted politics and protocols of shifters have never been so thoroughly entertaining and thrilling! This amazing book completely entranced me, from the first to last page. Wonderfully written and full of characters you want to meet in real life, this book is a reader’s escapism dream.

Lylia had run from her birth pack years ago but in recent years she was being blackmailed then Miles found out.
Her finances were rock bottom but Lylia was still getting demands. The threat was to tell her current pack that she was from the hated Canidae Pack thus ruining the place she had made for herself in the pack. Miles an enforcer enters her office to leave a message but while looking for some paper to write on finds one of the blackmail letters. Trying to find the source of the letters miles and Lylia get close. A shifter romance to relax and enjoy.

One of my favorite books in this series! Secrets, Canidae and enforcers all in one story plus characters from other stories all in one book. When you have a secret it would be better if the pack enforcer didn't find out especially when it involves the Canidae no matter what. For Lylia when her secret is found out it effects more than just her because she has a shared past with Miles, the pack enforcer, that he doesn't know about. This story is about learning you can count on your pack no matter what and falling in love when you least expect it. Oh and you just can't keep secrets from the pack enforcer, they always find out.

Yes...it feels great to write a review when it hits all the good spots in your reading must haves. This is a romance that places priority on the plot, the mystery, and suspense. For me that is perfect! This book kept the reader wondering if our two main characters would end up together as well as if they even should. For me, romance books don’t have to be over the moon let’s get down and dirty every other chapter....I want a story that keeps me flipping pages and this delivered! The flow is perfect, that characters are pristine, and this concluded leaving me truly looking forward to the next edition!

This is a well written paranormal romance where there is plenty of effort been put into the plot line of the story as well. You not only have romance but you have intrigue and suspense all overlaid with a wonderful romance
Lydia is been blackmailed and now that Miles has been sent from the Susquehanna Pack, to help with the Canidae pack problems the secret that she was originally a Canidae pack members could come out But she is still attracted to him and the feeling if mutual Will they be able to find out who is blackmailing her and settle the packs down once and for all

This is the fourth book in the Adirondacks Series. The main characters are Miles a visiting enforcer from a neighboring pack and Lylia the personal assistant of Alpha of the Adirondack pack. While these characters were introduced in earlier book you don’t really get to know them until this book. These characters are well written and lovable. I really enjoyed reading this book. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

A great conclusion to the series. I know there are a few extra stories still to come and I can’t wait to read them. This one definitely has something me suspense going on. The main female character is being blackmailed and paying isn’t helping but making things a lot worse for her. The enforcer knows something is up and will definitely not stop until he solves and stops the bad guy. I couldn’t put this one down and was kept glued in my seat until I knew what would happen. I loved it and the series.

Lylia is in a sticky situation and can't see any way out. Miles is the borrowed enforcer from a neighboring pack who realizes something is going on with Lylia. From there, things happen really quickly and get really intense. But this book is so well written that it's easy to follow even though there is a lot going on all at once. It's full of intrigue, passion, revenge, and resolution.💗😍💗
