Full disclosure, the author is a friend of mine and I love his writing.
I love a zany storyline, and Cat Lips definitely has that. But it's also got depth, a dash of darkness and a bit of hope, mostly for chicken.
I'm looking forward to the next issue to hopefully confirm some of my ideas, which I'll keep to myself for now and instead encourage you to read this for yourself and help a friend of mine make a living from his art and give his crazy mind an outlet for all of the brilliant ideas he comes up with.
While we're talking, who doesn't love a beautifully illustrated comic? Some of my favourite comics have become my favourites because of their illustrations and I LOVE the artwork in Cat Lips, it is amazing. I'd like to have some of the cat illustrations framed please! :)
Cat Lips 2? Yes please, more chicken though.
