Life is roses in the small town of Primrose, Minnesota. Summer vacation is underway and Murray Macabe is on cloud nine. But sunny skies darken when his mother loses her life to a madman. Orphaned, Murray is uprooted from the only home he has ever known and forced to live with his estranged grandmother in a childless town populated by the elderly. The town of Miniver is haunted by a dark past. The neighbors on the block have Murray leery to leave the house. They watch in the windows, keep secrets in the basements, and prowl in the dark with a thirst for vengeance. As the scars of the past are unstitched, Murray finds himself amidst a plot to conjure a force far more wicked than the neighbors themselves.
