Sol y viento: En breve

The Sol y En breve textbook and accompanying ancillaries have been developed with and around this exciting movie, providing students with exceptional input developed specifically for beginning learners. I'm using this book and film series to teach a community Spanish class at the public library this summer. I like the way the book is organized. It's by the same author who wrote the Destinos curriculum (Bill Van Patten), so I'm sure it's solid. I plan on teaching 4 90-minute programs (2 per month for June and July), and I think there's plenty of material in this course, plus the "en breve" version will make it easier for me to boil it down to just 4 90-minute classes. I loved "Destinos," and I'm sure I will love "Sol y viento" as well.
