Couldn't get involved in this very well because it's too similar to the book for me. I felt like I was reading the exact same thing I'd already read, and that's why I couldn't keep up with it. Not bad, but tbh I would recommend just reading the book Not a Fan instead. It goes more in depth on the same things covered in this devotional.

Extension of the book

If you have read any of the Not A Fan series you know what this book is about. The author breaks the fact down that following Jesus is not just knowing about Him. This is broken into three parts with 25 devotionals on each one.

Kyle speaks like he’s right there with you

This book is straight forward and ask some questions that make you really stop and think. But it really ministered to me in every area of my life. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting a closer walk with God.

Thank you!

I loved spending time in this book so much that I was sad to see it end, but that is where the journey begins to get really exciting as God leads the way. Overwhelming thanks to Kyle for writing this timely book. I love the way his personality shines through and makes me laugh. He's like one of those friends you want to have coffee with and share about all the amazing things God is showing you. As the Spirit teaches him, he passes it on to us. God bless you and yours, Kyle Idleman! Thank you so much for the bounty of lessons gleaned from these pages. This was not something I read and walked away from, but I'm living it out. I'm not a fan...I'm a follower of Jesus

This book makes you evaluate your relationship with Christ. It has shown me the areas to improve my pursuit of being a true follower and not a fan standing on the sidelines. When I get to heaven, I want Christ to say well done my good and faithful servant. It has opened my eyes to see areas in which I was lacking.

The devotional is done best while reading the book, "Not a Fan" by Idleman. There are some similar stories from the book, however, the devotional gives you some practical application and it is meant to be done daily!

Great devotional, includes"daily challenges". However, I wish the book had more of a "open your bible follow with me" aspect. A lot of the things and challeneges presented in the book are great, but there wasn't as much of a deep dive into the word as I would have wished there was.

Excellent Book

This book reenergized my focus to be on all that Jesus wants me today. I am more motivated to step out of my comfort zone and follow HIM as He directs.
