I love a devotional that speaks to a woman's heart and lifts her up. This beautiful Christian ladies devotional does just that. It's a book of reminders of how much we mean to God and what treasures we are to Him.

It can be read over any period of time, it's laid out with a scripture, a powerful inspirational message and finishes with a prayer that you can pray if you should desire.

A great book for those feeling unloved, or unsure of their place in Him. It tackles everyday issues that so many women struggled with. I loved this devotional and can recommend if you love them like I do. It would make a lovely gift for a woman you love also.

5 stars from me! A great mood-busting book!

This Book written by, Award-winning Gospel music artist Babbie Mason, contains 30 daily devotions. Each devotion includes a Scripture, reflection, prayer, and action step . Babbie has written a book filled with encouraging words to remind me and anyone else who reads this of how God feels about his daughters and uses Bible verses to show that what she writes is true. It doesn’t matter what others say, or even how we feel some days, the truth is what matters most.

I know there are a lot of times when I feel like I don’t really “measure up.” I thought this book was filled with wonderful reminders of who I really am to God, and I believe this book of encouragement would benefit anyone who reads it.

The quote I shared about asking God to let me see things from His point of view when I am upset about circumstances in my life, was especially valuable to me as I have had a very difficult time being grateful lately. It reminded me of something that has stuck with me from a Hannah Whitall Smith book: she said that nothing happens in the life of a Christian that God did not permit. So rough times are for a reason, and God allowed them to come to pass for a reason—His reason.

I was also really encouraged by the authors mentioning an experience she had in a warehouse check out line. She offered up a blessing for someone standing in line and another person heard her and asked to be blessed too. In a world where so many are easily “offended” and “angry” at Christians, it is always encouraging to read examples of how lovely it is when we follow God and the right message goes to one who needs it, but a seed may also land elsewhere.

I love short devotional books because they usually are very helpful for my day-to-day life. Recently, I have been using a couple devotionals at different times of the day. Amazingly the topic in one book seems to be carried over to the same thing in another book giving me additional insight. How cool is that?

I want to thank Netgalley and Abingdon Press for the opportunity I had to preview this book. And a thank you to the author for writing it.
