This is a decent overview of hydroponics with herbs and vegetables. Enough to get your started but will need greater details to execute. The list of things to grow and general stats on requirements are nice. The basic rules given for lights, temperature, pruning, and life of plants are valuable references.
It’s a very short book and two thirds of it are given over to the science of hydroponics which may be exactly what some people want especially if they’re building their own hydroponics but I was given a small kitchen kit so I was looking more for what I could grow and how to look after it (the last 10-15 pages of the 66)
This book covers all of the basics in a precise and encouraging manner. It's a quick read, and a good reference asset. There is a brief section at the end about starting to sell produce.
This is a very informative book for the novice gardener. I especially liked the section at the end about staying your own hydroponic business. The one issue I have with the book is the need for proofreading. There are numerous grammatical and syntactical errors, which are distracting.
I've read a number of books on hydroponic and aquaponic gardening. This is the first one to address seed starting and pests. I do wish the author had included aphids also, but maybe he will write another.
Hydroponics is a good short book on how to get started, complete with setting up, soil needs, irrigation, lighting, and more. Very step-by-step, I plan to try it this spring.
