**Until I'm Yours generously provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.**

2nd read - January 2, 2017 - Still as magnetic and beautiful as the first read. This book was on my 2016 favorites list and I wanted to reconnect with Kennedy Ryan's brilliant story telling and these two compelling characters. This re-read gave me everything I wanted all over again. My connection to the story is both deeper and richer having read it. Until I'm Yours will remain one of my very favorite romances EVER.

5+++, 6+++ if you will, "That's why now." Stars

I've followed The Bennetts series from the very beginning so it's with great conviction I state Until I'm Yours is my absolute favorite of the series without question and who really knew after knowing what I knew coming into this story. This contemporary romance told from the alternating, first person points of view of both hero and heroine provides lush story telling so full of rich descriptors, metaphors, and connotations. With two characters unlikely to ever to find each other, a cat and mouse game ensues where both hero and heroine are the unchallenged predators embarking on the challenge of a lifetime. Until I'm Yours will make you laugh and cry, it breaks you apart and heals you all at once.

Kennedy Ryan masters the art of letting her readers in the secret without ever saying the secret aloud. It's a beautiful thing to feel the dread, contempt, and longing for slivers of hope about a long-buried secret right along with the character but never fully know until said character is ready to reveal. It's a certain magic of Ryan's rich writing, how she draws you into the story twisting your preconceived notions and making you FEEL EVERYTHING from the very first word.

I have never read a hero and heroine the likes of Trevor Bishop and Sofie Baston. Ever. One you immediately fall in love with, the other makes it really hard for you to fall but once you take the plunge it's a fall so worth the wait. Two people who's intimacy is truly unmatched when it comes one another. They want all of each other, something only one was prepared for in life while the other other didn't know that kind of intimacy existed.

"Everyone has a story." Kennedy Ryan made this true for Sofie Baston in the most profound, distinct way. She's a woman who's courage you'll admire long past "the end". A gorgeous supermodel, hardened by her upbringing and habitat, showing the world only exactly what she wants. Totally in control whether the consequences of that control are helpful or harmful to her reputation. She's course, crass, and makes no apologies for who she is or what's she's done. Pure brutal honesty comes from Sofie to the point you'll find beauty in her hardness, in her ingrained cynicism. This outward attitude just so happens to be completely reflective of an even more profound inner bravado that when unleashed the potential of that strength she leaves dormant will make her untouchable. There's a protectiveness in her that she doesn't quite yet understand. She's beyond strong and that strength shines through brilliantly when Trevor Bishop casts his light on her, empowering her, believing in her.

And Trevor Bishop? A feminist, an alpha, an intelligent man with a passion, a man who wants a deep, meaningful connection who will stop at nothing to get what he craves because he believes in what he sees inside of Sofie. No other person has believed in Sofie until now. He's so intelligent and passionate and GOOD he fuels something stagnant in others by encouraging them to better themselves. As an admitted apathetic to certain social, world politics Trevor's passion for it sparks something in me - a true testament and mark of great intelligence and awareness in Ms. Ryan's gorgeous writing. And while Trevor sparks this in readers it's his challenge of Sofie, his dare for her to expand on that strength and prove to the world she's more than the superficial they believe makes her a formidable woman. Makes him the ultimate romantic. His character is light and funny. He's a creature so foreign to Sofie and he knows it which plays right into his allure. He makes want you want to believe in true, honest-to-goodness love and the flame that love stokes inside you. From the very beginning, Trevor is empowering. He believes and takes action. He makes Sofie believe in the power within herself. He makes her embrace her formidable. And that makes me want to be just like her.

This book reaches depths so low for these characters, a low you'll feel down to your soul thanks to Kennedy's amazing writing. The metaphors and descriptions highlighting their romance make the book so rich in words. The high from this is unlike any other reading experience I've had.

With an immediate urgency to the relationship between Sofie and Trevor stemming from an instant, undeniable attraction, that urgency is a craving I believe all of us romance readers want from love stories. This urgency to seek each other out and hold onto each other is brilliantly juxtaposed with a slow, almost torturous build to something strong, deep, lasting, and utterly beautiful. Kennedy Ryan exploits that urgency creating a brilliant, smart, and entertaining story with her beautifully stylistic descriptions; vividly painting the picture as though I watched the story play out live. Having followed the series from the beginning it was great to see the past from Sofie's point of view, awesome to see her conversations with Walsh and Kerris and so gratifying to see where she's come from versus where she'll go. And Trevor's character brings new secondaries to the story that also enhance the experience.

The results of my reading Until I'm Yours have me convinced Kennedy Ryan's magical writing is a step above the rest. For me, this is her BEST BOOK to date. Full of substance, intelligence, wit, critical thinking, character development, and beautiful romance - so profound I am moved by this incredible story. I went back immediately and re-read highlighted passages until I finally read the last 30% all over again. Yes, emotionally moved. This story is one of my favorite contemporary romance books I have ever read thanks to it's uniqueness and rich, meaningful writing. If you haven't yet experienced the storytelling of Kennedy Ryan, I implore you to do so.

**NOTE**Until I'm Yours is book four of a series. You do meet Sofie in previous books but it is not necessary to read the series before reading this book. The author does a great job of providing the back story so you get the full picture. With that said, the series is a great one and Kennedy Ryan's writing develops so gracefully over the course of it that you'd gain great pleasure from all the books.

6 STARS for Trevor & Sof Amazon US * Amazon UK

This story is incredible and wonderful. ROMANCE lovers of quality writing will ADORE. When I finish a book, I know its epic if my thoughts emerge as one big jumbled mess. I have so much to say about all the special aspects, the incredible writing, the authentic feelings and complex characters. I passionately believe that every romance reader will bask in the romantic love story that Kennedy Ryan offers. It's the fourth book in the BENNETT series but can totally be read as a STANDALONE. Each part hit my 5 STAR reading list and this one is the cherry on top and my favourite of all..... 6 STARS for Trevor and Sof!

UNTIL I’M YOURS is a Romantic Contemporary LOVE story about survival, longing, hope, truth and intimacy in all its forms. The prose has deep themes laced throughout, some I will not wholly go into for fear of spoiling as its the unfolding of the story arc that provides a poignancy that is really so very moving and powerful. Destiny is explored along side having the courage to stand up to your demons and do the right thing despite the consequences. It’s about the best kind of love a person can know, an URGENT love greater than all others. It may not add up, it may not look right on paper or feel sensible but the urgent feel of the need to love that person will surpass all other feelings. It's beautiful to read about, and to see it develop, go through highs and lows of emotion, and watch it grow is simply exquisite.

Sofie began modelling at 18, now some 15 years later she’s super famous, and living in the public eye. Cocooned in her life of privilege is not all it's cracked up to be, there are cracks in her upbringing and her past experiences are not all glamorous and pretty. There are parts that are ugly and heart breaking. It depicts succinctly that one never knows the life behind the public persona. She once held on to the belief that she'd one day marry Walsh Bennett but this was not the destiny written in her stars, fate had another solution, one that she would not see coming. Earlier in the series she's convincingly portrayed as a bitch, a thorn in the side of true love but to me she's like a little girl lost mixed with spoilt rich girl syndrome, a potent combination and a great basis for a story and a fiery heroine. She's quick witted, intelligent, sarcastic, honest, seemingly confident, ambitious, some would say rude. As Kennedy Ryan peels away the story layers, her true persona, her past, her reasons and motivation are all exposed. Her veneer is stripped away so the reader garners the perfect level of understanding.

Trevor, simply put, is the best kind of man. Self assured in a completely non arrogant way, an alpha male who likes control of all areas in his life. Men aspire to be like him, women want him but he’s searching for a particular kind of love, a love that’s all consuming, a love that has no option, no choice.

I love the depiction and exploration of human error. Sofie is flawed, she’s made mistakes but that does not make her a bad person. She’s beautiful on the outside and demonstrates her inner beauty as the story grows and her character develops. She needs her moment to shine, to do the right thing, make those hard but so worthwhile decisions and to be loved.

This author is expert at telling me things without typing out the actual words. She shows me with her luxuries descriptions, scenarios and imagery.... all of which I basked in... I LOVE the way Kennedy Ryan always finds a story devise to show the reader what she wants to say and how the illustration always moves the story forward. The first person narrative told in the alternating perspective of the hero and heroine, combined with the expressively descriptive prose, takes the reader straight to the heart of the protagonists and their story. It provides an inner perfect view of their thoughts and feelings and the most beautiful story-pictures to luxuriate in. There’s an abundance of beauty in the writing, the pages are littered with imagery and metaphors and exquisite emotion. Trust is one of the most important themes in a relationship, and the way Kennedy Ryan extracts this theme from the characters and their story is just incredible. Their courtship is a steady exquisite dance to self realisation in what can truly be between them.

I’ve spoken about perfect and Kennedy Ryan in other reviews. Her writing is amazing and everything I crave when I pick up a book. UNTIL I’M YOURS takes perfect to the next level and beyond. It’s the fourth book in the Bennett series but it CAN AND SHOULD BE READ AS A STANDALONE. If you wish to circle back to the entire series then I would definitely recommend it, they’re all five star reads for me BUT if you don’t have the time then don’t delay this one book. Start it today.

Deeper and more meaningful storyline than I anticipated. I liked that I didn’t have to read the other books in this series to understand it.

When your 'book soulmate' says 'You HAVE to read this book!', you go ahead and do it! Besides, after TeriLyn introduced me to Kennedy Ryan's writing via My Soul to Keep last year, it was a no-brainer so ...

Let me tell you ... I read some PHENOMENAL books this year but this book ... this book affected me so much that I am still wiping tears even as I write this. I am not sure I can say much about the plot without spoiling the story but I have to say that the subject matter Kennedy Ryan touches upon in this book is the reason why EVERYONE should read this! Stories such as this one are among some of my favorites. Stories of survival. Strength. Stories about people who help you move on, who give you that strength by doing something as simple as offering you their unconditional love.

This is SUCH a powerful tale about a power of one ... what a difference just one person can make. Whether trying to give voice to others or just being there for someone when no one else is.

This is a fourth book in The Bennett Series and can be read as standalone. But I can not wait to devour the rest of the series now.

This concludes my non-review review of this fantastic book.

Make sure to stop by TeriLyn's review of UNTIL I'M YOURS 'cause she is MUCH better at reviewing books as EPIC as this one!

Cheers!

Kennedy Ryan can do no wrong. This final installment of The Bennett series is definitely the best of them and I love them all. Sofie and Trevor and their journeys are what sets it apart from the other three in the series.
Wow! I love Sofie so freaking much. I didn't when I first met her because of her bitchy and selfish attitude. Of course Kennedy Ryan has a reason for Sofie's behavior and it is an intense and emotional one. The growth and self discovery Sofie goes through are truly remarkable. She hides so much behind her appearance and it's the only thing people connect with her when they hear her name. They have no idea what a sharp and intelligent woman she is but then again she doesn't let anyone she that side of her.
Trevor sees right through her and sees HER. Sofie. He's an extraordinary and very good man who knows right away, that Sofie's is so much more than her good looks and what people calls her. A goddess. He brings out the real Sofie.

Their chemistry and friendship are phenomenal. I love the slowly build heat and development of the their relationship. I especially love how Sofie and Trevor connect through conversations and their intellect. It's so deliciously written with sexy undertones.
The topics are once again a Kennedy Ryan special. They are sensitive but she handles them with care and knows how to make the characters bloom and gets her message and voice heard.
Until You're Mine is a perfect conclusion to a wonderful series. Kennedy Ryan knows how to create some fierce, strong and lovable characters. That's exactly what this series is about.
Friendship, family and most important of all love.

SERIES: The Bennetts #4 - it can be read as standalone!!
GENRE: contemporary romance
TROPES & THEMES: family drama, past trauma, opposite attrackt
CONTENT WARNING: mention of rape & miscarriage
RATING: 5 ⭐
SONGS: sucker
I choose you

This series aged well and became better with each book.
I liked them all but this one I LOVE!

At this point, if you know me at all you probably figured out that Kennedy's writing is my favorite thing ever. If she writes a telephone directory I will read it.

I love all of her characters and I have read all of her books now, but there is something special when she writes this kind of heroine and this type of hero combination I just have no words.
I love a heroine who everyone has preconceived notions about and a hero who knows what he wants and it is incredibly sweet. That is these two in a nutshell.

I'm oversimplifying a beautiful crafted and complicated book filled with raw, real, and heart-hitting moments.

Okay so before I begin my review, there is one important tidbit Kennedy Ryan needs to know. Kennedy, I am going to claim Trevor Bishop mine. Hahaha. And since, I'm claiming fictional book boyfriends, I am going to claim Rhyson as well since I don't remember if I did in my review of his book. (*wink*)

With that being said, I LOVED Until I'm Yours of The Bennetts Series. I have not read the previous three books of the series, but after reading this 4th installment I definitely want to check out the others because Kennedy has definitely got me intrigued with the Walsh, Kerris,Cam, and Jo relationship web.

photo 1a1f6668a2a4c664796134f5fcbd09_zpsp3anmf2l.gif “It’s not so much that I can’t find my prince, as that I’m no princess.”

Though in Until I'm Yours didn't have a complicated love story involving a third party, this story had a web of drama, excitement, heartache, raw emotions, second chances, and love. What I especially LOVE about this story was how raw these characters were written. Ms. Kennedy didn't sugarcoat their personalities at all. She allowed readers to grasp and understand the depth of her characters. They are flawed and far from perfect. They have made choices in their past that they may have regret but those choices are choices that made them who they are today. And that's why I love this book so much. Kennedy striped her readers naked so they could FEEL every raw emotions. She allowed us to feel their insecurity, vulnerability, jealousy, anger, lust, love, heartache and hope.

#UntilImYours

Sophie Baston. Rich. Mean Girl. Spoiled. Bitch. Supermodel.Beautiful. Sophie has heard it all. She is no stranger to the public making opinions about her. Yes, some opinions about her are true and some are exaggerated and some are not. But one thing that remains, Sophie Baston owns up to everything that she has done and did in her life. Yes, she has slept with men for just the pleasure of sex. Yes, she has posed nude for a magazine and billboard. Yes, she is part of New York's elite. Sophie Baston is all that but behind closed doors, Sophie Baston is just a woman who has her guards up. Behind the makeup, the clothes, the attitude, lies a young woman just wanting and searching for someone to really "see" the real Sophie. And Trevor Bishop just happens to be the man who truly sees her.

photo 1a1f6668a2a4c664796134f5fcbd09_zpsp3anmf2l.gif “He’s a good man. I have no use for good men, and despite what they may think when they look at me, they have no use for me. A good man should have a good girl. And that I’ve never been.”

#UntilImYours_1

Trevor Bishop is your ultimate prince charming and white knight. He was Sophie's missing piece to her heart. He was the one guy who could knock down her walls and see that he is not like the other men that Sophie dated in the past. He is the one man who truly sees her. He doesn't see the supermodel, the socialite, or the mean girl. He sees a vibrant young woman who has a beautiful caring heart that just needed tender loving care. He sees's a woman who brings laughter, joy, color, and spark into his life. He sees the woman that he loves.

photo 1a1f6668a2a4c664796134f5fcbd09_zpsp3anmf2l.gif “I believe, even though she may not even realize it herself, Sofie has chosen the latter. She’s searching for significance. That’s what draws me to her , because I recognize that. I remember that.”

As much as I loved and adored the relationship of Sophie and Trevor, I loved that Ms. Kennedy not only written a story about love but written a story that spoke volumes on social issues, gender stereotypes, and injustices. Ms. Ryan was able to tackle sensitive issues in such a positive and powerful way. She allowed her characters to find their voice and inner strength. I love when an author can layer a story with so much depth, raw emotions, and relatable characters. And Until I'm Yours did that and so much more.

photo 1a1f6668a2a4c664796134f5fcbd09_zpsp3anmf2l.gif “I want you embedded in my life, Sofie.” Trevor’s fingers tangle in the hair at my neck, telegraphing tingles across my scalp. “And I promise you I’m going to be embedded in yours. Nothing will shake me loose.”

All I can say is that if you haven't read a Kennedy Ryan book then you are truly missing out on experiencing a love story that can grip and hold your heart hostage. With her stunning prose and raw characters, Kennedy Ryan delivers a story that holds a magnitude of emotions and love. She has a way of stripping her readers bare to see that everyone has a story. The good. The bad. The in between. But everyone has a story to be told. And in this love story, Sophie's imperfection were perfect for the heart that was meant to love her. And only her. So if you ready to watch a love bloom and take root between two strangers who were meant to have their lives entangled and grow old together, then I highly recommend you give this book a try.

Until I'm Yours was my first book by Kennedy Ryan, and it MOST DEFINITELY won't be my last!! This book was so much more than I thought it was going to be going into it. OMG. I know it is only the end of January (when I'm writing this) but I can already tell this book will be one of my favorites of the year. Everything about this book just works for me! Being that I've never read any other books by Ms. Ryan, Until I'm Yours can be read as a standalone without missing a thing in Sofie and Trevor's journey.

Ohhhhhhh Trevor, Trevor, Trevor. He is a smart, funny, compassionate man who is constantly searching for "his fire", that one thing (or person) that drives him to be a better man, that WANTS him to be better, and that he can do the same in return. He sees that fire in Sofie and is willing to do anything to prove it to her. He challenges Sofie to become the woman that SHE wants to be, not what her parents and the world want or expect her to be. Trevor MAKES you believe in a true, pure, selfless, honest love he has for Sofie.

"I see you, Sofie. You're not just a pretty face and a tastefully done Playboy spread. There's a lot more to you than that."

Sofie Baston is one of the most famous faces in the world. Yet, only a few people REALLY know her. She is confident, says what she thinks (even if it's rude or sarcastic), funny, unapologetic and... searching for something. She projects a hardness to the world that came from her upbringing and events from her past. Trevor is the first person to really SEE her, and she has trouble believing she is worthy of all his attention. It's a concept so foreign to Sofie that she doesn't know how to accept that she can actually BE that person that Trevor sees in her. It was beautiful to read her growth and discover that inner strength that she didn't know she had.

Until I'm Yours made me laugh, cry, swoon, and FEEL for these characters and their journey as individuals and as a couple. It is so much more than a typical love story. It is a story of discovering your inner strength and the goodness i I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book and this author!!! This is a MUST READ!!

Until I’m Yours (Bennetts #4) by Kennedy Ryan
4.5 stars!!

“Your story is your most powerful weapon. We must use our hurts to help.”

I found Kennedy Ryan when she released her last book, My Soul to Keep, a book that I fell in love with, so when I saw that this book could be read as a standalone I dived in once again. It now looks like I have another three books to read, because after reading this one, I want to devour them all.

I burnt the midnight oil reading this one, I couldn’t put it down and was an emotional mess towards the end. I know I get teary fairly easily but it still takes that character connection and that gut wrenching emotional writing to turn the water works on and Kennedy Ryan had me leaking like a faucet. Sofie Baston was a character that you couldn’t help but fall in love with and it is unusual for me to feel such an affinity for a female character, but Sofie’s story really touched me and I just wanted her to succeed at everything and especially with Trevor Bishop.

Sofie Baston came from a rich family, she could have had anything and everything she wanted but she didn’t want it given to her. She wanted to earn it. Sofie was born to two parents who thought more of their social standing than their daughter. Having never had that parental love or relationship, Sofie truly felt that she was unlovable. Her childhood friend, a man who her parents had wanted her to marry didn’t even love her in that way and when she failed to land the man her parents disowned her even more. To them she was a disappointment.

“You may have just started caring about people, Sofie, but no one cares about you. You’re just a famous face and an overexposed body.”

However, Sofie went and made a name for herself, she was a top model, the biggest name in the modelling world, the cat walk queen…a Goddess. Her face was everywhere and everyone knew her. But her shenanigans as a twenty something are all documented by paps and playboy spreads are just another reason her parents are desperately waiting for her “little modelling moment” to end. Now coming to the end of her career she wants to make a name for herself off the runway, but will her past haunt her?

Sofie was such a strong and determined character, she was smart and intelligent and her charities that she supported meant the world to her. You would think she would have no self-esteem issues, but she just sees herself as an empty vessel, everyone just wants the body…the face…nobody wants Sofie Baston the person…she is unlovable…but she wasn’t.

“You’ve discarded the trappings, the outside, and have awakened the part of you that is really alive. Germination is a kind of death, and it’s painful.”

Trevor Bishop was a philanthropist, a feminist, he was intelligent, knew what he wanted, was a little alpha, determined, passionate and he had Sofia Baston firmly in his sights. Trevor was not a one-night stand kind of guy. He thrived on emotional connection and wanted deep and meaningful rather than shallow and fleeting. He was ADORABLE. With Irish heritage, a huge family and a bit of a mummy’s boy there was nothing about him I disliked. When Trevor Bishop loved, he loved hard and he was all in. His fierceness and protectiveness are just more traits that made this already perfect man, even more perfect.

This book was an intense journey for Sofie Baston. She was a woman that needed to let go of the past so that she could look to the future. A woman that needed to believe in herself, a woman that was desperate to love and be loved. Kennedy Ryan unfurls Sofie’s past like unwrapping a pass the parcel, as each layer is removed we learn more and more and the secrets and insecurities inside slowly get smaller and smaller. Sofie has a lot of battles to fight but she has the right man by her side as long as she is willing to let him. Sofie needs to believe in herself and Trevor.

“This thing between us, Sofie…Not only has it already gone too far…But I’m too far gone.”

Sofie and Trevor were total opposites and even the press had labelled them the Saint and the Sinner but Trevor saw underneath the façade that Sofie Baston firmly kept in place, he saw the strong, beautiful underneath and that was the Sofie that Trevor wanted. Kennedy Ryan treats the reader to that slow build, that palpable connection and intense chemistry and makes the pages literally sizzle. From laughing one minute to swooning the next you will be championing these two characters along. Yes, there is angst, yes there were tears but it was a necessary journey, especially for Sofie, she had demons to exorcise and it was painful at times.

“Maybe everything I had to prove was to myself.”

Kudos to Kennedy Ryan for delivering one scene in particular that shredded me. It was so moving for me that I had to message the author to say well done and then to learn that it nearly never made it to the final version was unfathomable. Some may say it is cliché but for me and especially considering who Sofie Baston was the underlying meaning behind her actions really sliced at my already fragile heart. Totally loved this book.

Until I’m Yours by Kennedy Ryan was my top read in 2016, a difficult feat to achieve when you consider that I read over 400 books that year. But a review for it has never been posted at All About Romance, so I’ve taken the liberty of doing so now. It’s the fourth book in The Bennett series which consists of a duology, When You Are Mine and Loving You Always, followed by Be Mine Forever, and this one. Sofie, the heroine of this book is the ex-girlfriend of the main character of book one, and still remains friends with him. Their friendship began in childhood and survived their short relationship. This is one of those situations where only one side of Sofie has been seen to date – the standoffish, entitled side. But there are two sides to every story, and here her true character is revealed. She’s a wealthy woman, a gorgeous supermodel, a woman who is untouchable (or so it seems), until she meets Trevor Bishop.

Trevor first sees Sofie in all her (almost) naked splendour on a billboard for a cosmetics company and is struck by her beauty. But meeting her in person, he can see right away that the face she presents to the public is a facade. Sofie’s father and Walsh Bennett (Sofie’s ex) work for Walsh’s father, and Trevor is considering a business contract with them and Sofie’s father wants her to reel him in by using her physical allure to convince Trevor to invest with them. Trevor is intrigued by Sofie, a woman trying to find some way to fill the empty hours of her society existence by slowly getting out of the modelling business, and directing her energies to something more fulfilling. Starting her own company, she’s determined to prove to herself, and to others, that she’s more than just a pretty face. She has a reputation as a playgirl, partying at every opportunity. Trevor knows there is more to her story and when a nemesis from Sofie’s past shows up, secrets that Sofie planned to keep forever come spilling out. Trevor must choose whether to cut his losses to maintain his own clean and above board reputation or prove to Sofie that he’ll support her, no matter the consequences.

Kennedy Ryan writes compelling and emotional romances and this one is no exception. Sofie is an ice princess and it’s clear that she has learned from a young age to keep her emotions in check. She lacked support growing up, with the exception of the Walsh family – even her own parents are lacklustre in their acceptance of her, disapproving of her modelling career and her other choices in life. She’s a trophy daughter to them (a tarnished one at that) and they use her for their own devices, just as so many use her for her looks and celebrity. As a result, she’s learned to keep her own counsel and trust no-one.

When Trevor walks into her life, she’s intrigued by him, but reminds herself not to fall for his charm, his ‘nice guy’ vibe making her very aware of own perceived inadequacies. But Trevor is persistent in his pursuit of Sofie, in believing she has a depth of character and a desire to do good in the world. It’s a desire that he recognizes from his own past, one that led him to work towards bettering the lot of those in third world countries through his own efforts. While she is quite willing to share her body with him (for her, sex is a commodity that doesn’t involve emotion), Trevor makes it very clear that he doesn’t want her body without her heart. He woos her, slowly but surely, and eventually she falls for him just as much as he does for her. They share some steamy love scenes that cement this bond.

“Sofie, look at me.” He pulls my hand away from my head, linking our fingers and resting our clasped hands against his chest. “It’s not a matter of good enough. I’m good for you, and you’re good for me. That’s enough, and I really don’t care what anyone else thinks or says about it.”

He pulls me into him, resting his hands at my sides.

“And we’re good together.” He leans down to trail kisses over my jaw and down my neck, his cool breath somehow firing up my skin with his next words. “You believe that?”

“Yes.” I can barely breathe with him this close. A pressure is building from the neediest part of me and spreading over every inch of my skin. It’s a desperate desire I’m not sure how much longer I can suppress. “I…yeah…I, um, I do.”

What I really love, what makes Trevor the ultimate book boyfriend, is his unfailing support and belief in Sofie when things get rocky for them. Events from Sofie’s past return, scandal stalks her, and through it all, though she expects Trevor to abandon her at every turn, he is solid as a rock. Instead of making the conflict one between the couple, the conflict is Sofie versus the outside world, with Trevor standing by her, and that is so refreshing. There are moments in the story that made me laugh, moments that made me cry, emotions pulled out of me left, right, and center. I highly recommend this series, and Until I’m Yours in particular, if you are looking for a quality contemporary romance that will break your heart and put it back together again.

The final book in this series blew me away. What a build up to get to this book! Watching Sofie's cold, protective exterior crumble to Trevor's patient love was a thing of beauty. This series got better with each book.

Absolutely beautiful!

3.5 stars

at times like this, i really wish GR had a 3.5 rating. i can’t put my finger on it. the book was good. the writing style and the plot were also good. the main characters were great. they make us care about them. the twists were interesting. some were predictable and some left you saying WOAH. but there was just something… maybe it’s just me. they fell too quickly? the steam didn’t quite reach the sizzle? the book's definitely worth the read so don’t pass it up on my account. like i said, i wish i could give it 3.5 stars.

I have read all of Kennedy’s books, and I must say, Until I’m Yours is my favorite. Kennedy has a way with words and making you fall for characters that may not be easiest to fall for.

Until I’m Yours can definitely be read as a standalone but Sofie has made many of appearances in the series. Sofie is a world-famous supermodel who lives a very public life in the limelight. She has had her ups and downs but because she is a celebrity, almost everyone knows about her life. She’s also very honest (okay-more like blunt), self-confident, and seems to be trying to find herself. Trevor is an all-around American boy. He’s also a very driven and compassionate about philanthropy. When these two meet, sparks fly and right away they can’t get enough of each other. Trevor does have his work cut out for him with bringing down Sofie’s walls. He knows that he’s found what’s been missing in his life and will stop at nothing to have her. Thankfully, Sofie realizes that Trevor actually sees her for who she is, not some vapid supermodel that everyone thinks she is.

I really enjoyed how this story played out. I knew it was going to take someone very special to make Sofie fall in love with them. Trevor was all sorts of swoon and really believed in the truer good of people. I loved how he stood up for Sofie and was always her biggest supporter. The relationship between Sofie and Trevor was a little-angst driven but so enjoyable! And I swear their chemistry was palpable-like seriously HOT!

Kennedy writes books that are filled with such emotion and brings awareness to many social topics that are usually shied away from. This is one of the things that I truly admire about Kennedy amongst other things. This book was all about facing your past and fighting for yourself. Her writing is also amazing and she seems to hone in on her craft with each new book.

Until I’m Yours was a fabulous book to end the Bennett series with. If you haven’t checked out this series-now’s a good time to start!

I enjoyed this book and the whole premise of "Good boy vs Bad Girl" but at some points it fell kinda flat for me, maybe I wasn't in the mood for contemporary romance, but I can't stop feeling like this book was a "One Woman Show ".
I loved, loved Sofie, she was an awesome character, amazingly strong in some ways, vulnerable in others.....But I couldn't feel her relationship with Trevor, I felt like he was just kinda there...Not too bad, not too good, he didn't grab me in anyway, moreover I felt like he was a bit presumptuous in his dealings with Sofie, the way he just assumed that she wanted to speak against Kyle publicly and pushed her towards it or the way he was in Africa when she had to deal with the whole reveal although he said that he will be there for her, like I said "A One Woman Show'. I confess I'm a bit dissapointed, I expected more from their relationship, their connection wasn't there for me, I had a feel of glossed over, especially with the whole arrest of Kyle....

4.5 'The Sinner and The Saint' stars

Oh, Trevor! What. A. Beautiful. Man.

I'm drawn to romantic stories where the bad girl falls for the good guy. But this book was so much more than I thought it would be. So much more! This story is well-written, thought-provoking, sensual and full of feels. Trevor is pretty darn amazing, but Sofie is fantastic too, once the layers were stripped away. I adored this couple.

I confess I have not read any of the other books in this series but I'm going to fix that ASAP.

It's purely a coincidence that I started reading this book the day before the 2nd anniversary of its publication date. I read the previous 3 books in 2015- they were actually the first books I had read of Ms. Ryan's and they turned me into a life-long fan! Anyway, I think I needed this break in between those books and this one, to give Sofie a chance to stand on her own. She wasn't the most likeable character to put it mildly, and I don't know if I would have appreciated her story as much if I had read it any sooner. Until I'm Yours will take everything you thought you knew about Sofie Baston and turn it on its head.
While this book does relate to the 3 other books in the Bennett series it could definitely be read as a standalone.

Once again Ms. Ryan has blown me with her storytelling. Sofie's story wasn't an easy one, and it's kind of crazy how relevant it is to what's going on in the world today. It'll open yours eye to a lot of things, and it'll make you realize that people really do show us only what they want us to see. There's so much more to people than what meets the eye and Sofie is a prime example of this. She's rich, beautiful, and glamorous. On the surface you'd think she had it all, but you'd be wrong. Sofie is scarred. She's been hurt. She has secrets that no one knows about. But she's so strong and brave. You'll be awed by her toughness, by her spirit, by her resilience. You'll be firmly #TeamSofie by the end of this book.

I can't end this review without mentioning Trevor Bishop! If I had major girl crush going on with Sofie, it was a total swoonfest with Trevor. I love a good guy hero and Trevor is such a good guy! I loved how he "saw" Sofie and didn't let her hide or shy away from him. He got her, and don't we all just want someone who gets us?!? There needs to be more Trevor Bishops in this world.

If you haven't had a chance to pick up the Bennett series, what are you waiting for??? I can't recommend all 4 of these books enough. The writing will captivate you, the characters will endear themselves to you, and you'll never want the stories to end.

3.75 ⭐️ A swoony ride with a turbo ending.

Trevor and Sofie? Fire. Absolute fire. Their chemistry was off the charts in all the best ways - flirty, fiery, and full of heart. Kennedy Ryan gave us the perfect blend of romance with just enough drama to keep things interesting (but not throw-your-book-across-the-room frustrating).

That said, the ending felt like someone hit fast-forward on the remote. A little too quick for my liking after all that delicious buildup. Still, a fun, feel-good read that delivers all the romance vibes with just a dash of chaos.

Until I’m Yours (Bennett Series Book 4) by Kennedy Ryan (5 Stars)

In the last book in the Bennett series Ryan takes you into the grappling lives of Sofie Baston and Trevor Bishop. This is the first book I read from Kennedy Ryan which allowed me to experience the story completely untainted.

Sofie Baston is not your typical heroine. She is a supermodel, smart and unapologetic in a world where those qualities are almost sins. This woman keeps big secrets, some with the potential of destroying everything she worked for. She is the goddess that everybody looks at but nobody sees.

Trevor Bishop is a philanthropist turned entrepreneur who is mystified and intrigued by the mystery that is Sofie Baston. He wants the person beyond the covers of the glossy magazines and the social media storm. The southern gentleman with a big heart and a bigger mission.

All she wants is a one night stand. All he asks for is one night to stand in her life forever. When these two characters collide the sparks fly and the result is a profound and beautiful romantic story that will remain with the readers for a long time. Sofie and Bishop are not completely saints or sinners, but they are completely and profoundly human.

The characters are credible and remain consistent through the novel. Sofie never played the victim card and Bishop stood his ground. The dialogue is intelligent and riveting. The intimacy scenes are alluring, steamy and a joy to read. Ryan seems to be the queen of the whispers between lines, what she writes captivates but what she implies mesmerizes. Her prose is almost lyrical and her strokes of humor masterfully delivered.

Until I’m yours is much more than a love story, is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of kindness, passion and words.

This quote is my favorite: “When we’re young, we live the good times. setting moments on fire, laughing and dancing in the flames. We’re invincible. No one tells you the memories may haunt you like ghosts, knocking around when the house is quiet and you’re alone with your regret. No one tells you about the rubble of your destruction. No one tells you that you’ll get burned, and those fiery moments become your mistakes. At least no one told me. I wish they had. With this good man at my side who deserves more than the ashes of my transgressions. I wish more than anything someone had told me.”

This quote pierced my soul, fractured it and left me with the threads in my hands to put it back together.

I stroked gold when I discovered Kennedy Ryan.

Sofie is a highly successful model, her face & body on billboards & playboy magazines everywhere. She seems to have it all, fame, fortune, stunning looks and gorgeous men lining up to have her. Unfortunately, she thinks there's no good in her, she's no more than a pretty face. Tainted by the past, a past in which is closing in on her. Cue......

Trevor, the one thing she didn't see coming. Handsome, intelligent and all around good guy who has his sights set firmly on her. He's after a lot more than a one night stand, but what will it take to prove this to Sofie?. By gatecrashing her Barre class, that's how!., and voila, he gets the date, not after some scathing comments from Sofie.

 photo PicsArt_06-10-06.54.44_zps7sdb5cdw.jpg

Some homecooked meals some steamy sex, open conversations, and they're we'll on their way to a happily ever after. Cue....

The past, it always has a funny way of showing up at the wrong time and f****** things up.

> Hated her parents. I honestly can't imagine having a mother like that.
> My ovaries did explode at visualising Trevor & Grace ; )
> Trevor, and his URGENT love for Sofie, she very much deserved it.
> Sofie's determination.

I really loved this story, and I'm looking forward to reading the first installments of this series.

Let me tell ya one thing .... I was NOT a Sofie fan going into this story. She made it really easy to dislike her in previous books. But that was then and this is now ... hooooooly about face!

Sofie Baston showed herself in the most beautiful light and made me fall in love with her! And don't get me started on her number one fan/supporter, Trevor Bishop! That man could melt a kindle with just saying Hello. I honestly didn't think that Kennedy Ryan would be able to pull off a likable Sofie, but she DID! And she did it flawlessly.

This isn't what I would call an easy story, but it's also not dark and full of angst. There are burdens that need to be let go. Pasts that need to be accepted and moved forward from. And there is love that needs to be embraced. Especially love for ones self. And Kennedy Ryan does all of this and sooooo much more with this story. It's quite an anticipatory read because there aresecrets and lies and you can feel the burden and unburdening of them as you read because that's what Kennedy Ryan does. She writes in such a way that she pulls you aong with the story. She's exceptional at it.

Absolutely Stunning Read!! I'm a huge Kennedy Ryan fan. If she writes it, I'm reading it. She is a masterful storyteller. She makes her stories live and breathe. Her writing is almost lyrical, it just flows beautifully. With that said, I was a little hesitant with Sophie's story. I couldn't stand her. Why would I want to read about her? Well, Kennedy Ryan totally flipped the switch and made me love Sophie. Believe in the impossible people!!

Sophie is a famous model. She's a total bad girl and her reputation can prove it. She is very blount and unapologetic, which I actually loved about her in this book.
Trevor is the perfect man. He has it all, plus he is a perfect gentleman. He sees something in Sophie and refuses to be just a fling. He wants to actually get to know her, see what others don't get to see.
Will he be able to convince her to try it his way?

This is definitely a story that teaches a huge lesson. It teaches you to stand up for what you believe in and to never let anyone take away your voice.

This is definitely one of my favorite series!!

Oh I LOVED this book ! This shows Sophie in a different light than the other books in the series & I honestly fell in love with her character. Trevor fell in love with Sophie at first sight . Sophie had a rough 15 years after being assaulted @ 18 and became a super tough, cold hearted girl ! Trevor accepted every part of her and made her feel safe enough to be vulnerable & soft again . 🤍

I just freaking loved Sophie story. Sophie was that girl and had to be brought down to the lowest denominator to get what she actually deserved. Her story was the most realistic. The way you can tell the author's growth from each story is just chef's kiss.

Until I’m Yours by Kennedy Ryan ~ 4.5 STARS

“The world knows her face . . .
Mean girl. Goddess. Bitch. Supermodel Sofie Baston has earned those labels . . . yet they don't scratch the surface of who she really is. Before she can follow her own dreams, Sophie must do her daughterly duty and reel in a "fish" for her father's business-a tall, brown-eyed entrepreneur who immediately hooks her. He's a big guy with an even bigger heart . . . but will that heart be open to Sofie once her darkest secret is revealed?
. . . but only one man knows her heart
To Trevor Bishop, Sofie is a beautiful mystery he would gladly spend his life solving. He figures her tough demeanor is armor against a world that's hurt her too many times. Then Sofie's deepest wounds are reopened by the powerful, ruthless man who made them. When she musters the courage to take him down, her world shatters. Now Trevor is determined to help Sofie pick up the pieces so they can build a future together. The challenge will be convincing his ice princess that it's safe to melt in his arms . . .”

*** Contemporary romance, standalone. Supermodel and successful entrepreneur.

“I see you, Sofie”

I’m normally a little skeptical reading about the supermodel type heroine but I’m pleasantly surprised. I really LOVE this book – best in the series I think. Sofie is a supermodel but not what you would normally expect. She is beautiful and successful but she is not full of herself. In fact, she can be a little self deprecating especially around Trevor. She does not think she is worthy of being in a healthy, happy relationship. She thinks Trevor is too good for her. Adding to that she has a dark secret that she is ashamed of anyone knowing, especially Trevor. Sofie is living a life that seems glamorous. But deep in her soul she wants to break out and become someone different, to make things count and to be significant in some way.

“A good man should have a good girl. I’m not a good girl, Bishop”

Now Trevor. Lord! He is swoon worthy – handsome, successful, sexy, a southern gentleman. From the first moment he lays eyes on Sofie it was love at first sight. He knows what he wants and he is determined to go after Sofie. Despite Sofie’s outside tough, sarcastic, spitfire façade and a not to be proud of reputation, Trevor is no fool. He knows deep down Sofie is a good person. She is beautiful, strong, but also sweet and deserving of love.

“He bores you out of your mind.”
“No, he fucks me out of my mind”

That is pretty much what the dialogues between Sofie and Trevor are like. Kennedy’s writing is amazing in this book. The banters are funny and sharp. LOVED IT!!!! I think the comical dialogues got my interest right from the start. There are several laugh out loud moments too. This is definitely a love story - but there are also a little more serious issues like rape and the stereotypes that should have no place in society. I think the extra twist make the plot more interesting.

Over all, Until I’m Yours is a beautiful read - sweet, funny, sexy and charming and touching love story. There are a few tearful parts which put some depth and twists into the story. The writing is beautiful and seamless. The storyline like I said is surprisingly different from what I thought it would be - not a typical spoiled brat supermodel. The characters are likeable and the chemistry is smoking hot. Trevor is the perfect book boyfriend – true southern gentleman = SWOON!!!! I was kind of imagine the dialogues in a southern accent …. Rrrrrrhhh HOT!

“That woman is worthy of my love. I just hope I’m worthy of hers.”

Best in the series and I would love to read more of Kennedy’s story.

Advanced copy received in exchange for an honest review

I happen to be a fan of Kennedy Ryan and have read all of the books in the Bennett series. However, I wasn't sure how I felt about Sophie's story. I knew I wanted to read it, but with her being the resident Bennett biotch and with a personality that's hard to like, that left me unsure as to how this would all play out. Well let me just say Kennedy Ryan squashed all those fears! This story is all sorts of good.

Sophie (the Sinner) has achieved success and fame as a model. She's a bad girl with a reputation to prove it. Her face and body graces the pages of magazines and billboards. Trevor Bishop (the Saint) truly represents the good in this world. Plus he's oh so fine!!! His intelligence, morals and passion to make a difference is admirable. Raised by loving parents and a mother who teaches Sunday school, Trevor appears to be the exact opposite of Sophie.

This story takes you on a ride where these two worlds come together. Sophie has always used her mean girl persona as a shield. She has no use or time for a good guy because she doesn't represent anything good. But Sophie always loves a challenge and decides to give Trevor a chance. Of course his good looks, fine body and the fact that he's a ginger intensifies her attraction to him. Trevor Bishop is a gentleman and doesn't want just a one nigher with Sophie. He wants more, which proves to be a challenge for Sophie.

Until I'm Yours opens your eyes to the real Sophie. The person behind the tough exterior and beautiful face. We learn a lot about her including her past. The attraction and connection that forms between these characters is amazing. The pace and build up is delivered perfectly with an added edge or urgency that allows us readers to experience it right along with the characters. Often times, it takes someone else to show us the good in ourselves. For so long Sophie has been living a certain persona. She's never felt like a priority to anyone. Trevor Bishop sees so much more in her and opens her eyes to the type of love and dedication she deserves.

Kennedy Ryan continues to awe me with her words and delivery. The writing is intelligent and beautiful. The storyline, characters (Trevor Bishop - swoon!), and pacing are all phenomenal. I like to live and breathe my reads and Until I'm Yours gave me that and more. This story will have readers immersed in the world of Sophie Baston and Trevor Bishop and possibly have you begging for more.
