•Dangerously intriguing
Dani Brant’s uncle Rutherford left her his mansion after his death. She is sure someone killed him even though the ME's report said he died from a heart attack-natural causes. Dani goes to Detective Raylan Meeks for help, but because they've ruled his death natural the PD's hands are tied and cannot investigate. So Raylan takes vacation time to help Dani figure out what's actually going on! Uncle Rutherford left specific instructions that Aiden Westmoreland had to personally deliver a package and offer to make himself available to Dani, should she find something he could help her with. Dani was instantly attracted to both men. Aiden as it turns out is a private investigator. Lots of people began to be killed and they had to figure out the common denominator since people were conveniently missing after each incident. Is Dani in danger too? The three of them join up together to not only solve the mystery. There are lots of twists, turns and startling things that happen along the way. Which man will Dani decide to turn to in the bedroom, or will they decide to enjoy the bedroom together as well? You'll have to read to see who not only killed Uncle Rutherford, or was it natural causes? But to see who Dani decides to share her bedroom with! This is the first book I've read by SHERREL LEE, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! I was given a copy to read in exchange for an honest review, and I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

My Review:
I couldn't decide between a 4 or 5 star rating for this book. It has a mix of mystery/suspense but its lack of real romance falls into the erotic sex without the emotional entanglement.
Although that part felt a bit murky at times for me, I do feel that the book would have been just as strong without the investigation part added to it but it was an interesting addition none the less.
I think it was mostly my fascination with Dani's mind that kept me reading.
She felt like such an emotionally detached person for most of the book but then you had rising moments that included her personal vulnerabilities that she hid behind sex and sort of used as her measuring system for how she handled the rest of the world around her.
It made her feel naive and sort of selfish at times as well. I kind of liked that complexity in her that she wasn't all buff but it wasn't all wash either.
I did like that Aiden wasn't the kind of guy that was just a case of easy lay that gave in to a pleading pussy regardless of how easy it would have been like a lot of Erotica I've read and I would have been happy with the story only having the twosome lovesome but in comes Ray who I really didn't care for all that much.
Ray provides some hot sex scenes but I didn't particularly care for his personality, his excuses, or his interactions with Dani outside of the off and on thing they had going on.
Regardless of my personal feelings over that I still felt the story was good and worth the read.

Could have been better. For a ménage, you expect more sex and relationship time. This story focused more on the murder mystery instead. It was actually a little cheesy. The Aiden and Raylan were sexy and hot. Dani, was a little moody. Based on this story, I probably won’t read this author again.

Deadly Bequest 3.5 Stars
I was given the book for free in exchange for an honest review.
This starts with a lot of Characters but the three that are most important are Dani (female), Raylan (male), and Aiden (male). Dani’s uncle has died. Authorities say it is natural causes. Dani and, posthumously, her uncle Rutherford disagree. This is where the mystery begins.
The not so good:
• Would have liked more character development or background on the main characters.
• I became confused by the amount of characters being introduced all at once. In the author’s defense of this, I am not used to mysteries and I realize this is how it works.
• Sometimes the author could be too descriptive. A good example is the food descriptions and setup after another murder. There seemed to be no reason for me to know that much information about the food and it lent no creed to the actual mystery.
• Sometimes the author wasn’t descriptive enough. This is mainly with the secondary characters and only occasionally
• 15% of the time editing was needed for flow.
The really good:
• 85% of the time the writing was really good and engaging.
• This was a quick read and it flowed well without feeling you were missing major pieces
• There was a very good mix of intrigue, mystery and sex.
• You could really feel the sexual tension between the three main characters and it was very well written.
Overall if you like mystery and a healthy dose of sexual situations then this is a great book and you should give it a try. I do not think you will be disappointed.

I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book, through Reading Deals, so I could give an honest review.
This was the story of Dani Brant and her two men, Raylan, a detective, and Aiden, a private investigator. Dani has received an inheritance from her uncle, Raylan is the police detective who ends up investigating her uncle's death, and Aiden, his friend, is the private investigator her uncle asked to watch over Dani after his death.
I did like this book somewhat, but I felt really disconnected from Dani throughout most of it. I enjoyed the sort of suspense about who killed Dani's uncle and the other various people who ended up dying, but it was also hard to keep track of every character and what part they had to play in the ongoing mystery. I wish there had been fewer characters actually. And I wish the feelings Dani, Raylan and Aiden shared had been stronger, or at least more passionate. I never felt that either of the 3 really loved each other, the romance in this book was pretty weak. Sex seemed to be the motivating factor of their relationship, which I guess isn't the worst thing in the world, but it just didn't come across as a romance, or even erotic romance. The passion either needed to be stronger for it to be true erotic romance, or the feelings needed to be stronger for it to be a true romance or romantic suspense. As it is written, it's a strange sort of pale imitation of romance, erotica or erotic romance.

This is a new author to me. I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review. I was not sure what to expect from this author but the cover is so sensual and erotic and it was worth the read. It was not just all sex and hotness. Don't get me wrong there was still some of that but there was more to keep me reading.
Dani has come to her uncle's place because he has passed and she was left all of his estate. She hires Raylan to come along and help her and than there is Aiden. There is lot going death, secrets, and people in the house that Dani does not know or know well. If you want to know how it turns out you are going to have to get a copy for yourself.

Deadly Bequest was a great mystery romance novel. It had a great story along with very steamy romance. The mystery kept me guessing the whole time and I loved it. This book was extremely well written and I can't wait to check out more by this author. It really was a great book.
Dani's uncle has just passed away and left her with his hotel. After a series of events, she doesn't think that his death was from natural causes, but rather that he was murdered. She turns to the police, but their hands are tied on an investigation since the ME's report states it was natural causes. Raylan takes it upon himself to take time off to protect her. Soon after he arrives, his friend Aiden, shows up with a package and someone else is stabbed to death. Now it's an ongoing investigation, but Dani can't get her mind off the two scrumptious men in front of her.

This was a interesting novel to read. It had many elements in it that kept you busy as you read. Dani is left a estate by her uncle with some instructions but it is not so simple. She does not believe it was how it appeared either. She asks for help and protection from one Raylan. Her uncle too has given her protection by one named Aiden. What a lucky girl to have both sides covered. As you go along events start happening right away in between heated scenes. You get murder, mystery and erotic that gives a explosive combination. She also is attracted to both as things happen around her. Her suspicions will be answered along with what really happened. It has a fast pace that gives you a clear ending with her getting the best at the end.

Dani's uncle suddenly dies and she is left with all that was his. House money cars... Just one thing all his employees had to live in the house for a short period according to her uncle's will.
She needs to find out who murdered her uncle. With all he left her as hints she is determined to find the killer.
Aiden and Raylan are the authorities in the case and are also on her case personally. They both want her bad!!

Decent short story for adults. A lot more sex than I'm really into but it made for an amusing read. Holy cow that was a mind boggling mystery and the culprit/s were never ending. I enjoyed the ending but it could have had a sex scene lol. I'd come to expect it by then. A fun read.

This book is a great short. I enjoyed reading it to out what would happen next. Dani gets some things to deal with after her uncle passes away. Raylan and Aiden help her. This book has a mystery to it. Just give this book a try.
