I liked it at first, but then that old trope pops up again, where the h overhears a conversation about the H that gives her the wrong idea, she leaves a "Dear John" letter and runs off, then pretends she never cared, was just using him to teach her about sex! Why is it that so many h's think that instead of confronting the H with what she heard and hearing his side of things, prefer to run like cowards and then go into snark mode or try to make the H think they're 304 trainees??? Just so DUMB!
Even when she thought he had been killed (his yacht was late getting back after a storm) and was thrilled to see he was alive, she lets jealousy get in the way (he hugged a woman who was a former employee and who was dating a crew member) and runs off again!
And when they are thrown together later on, she continues being snarky and saying dumb things until he (the jerk) admits he loves her (why???) and then she's all lovey dovey, which came across as phony to me.
Ironically, she was a lot more concerned about the OM, who she had planned to marry, changed her mind and got a lucky break when he got into a car accident right before the wedding! Her guilt made her overlook the guy's flawed character, (he lied about being good friends with the H, exaggerated a lot of other stuff, fooled around with a young nurse while in the hospital (part of his therapy, he claimed, talk about balls) and a few years back he had seduced and then dumped the H's younger sister. I was hoping the H would dump the h and find someone better. In my opinion, she and the OM deserved each other!
Skip this one, unless you like self-centered h's who think life revolves around them.
