A Standalone Novella

At 39, Remington (Remy) Lennox married Emory McNeil. They’ve been friends for two years – married for one of those years. He told her the marriage was strictly for business reasons and that they'd keep it between themselves while remaining friends. That the rest of the Lennox family doesn't have to know.

What he doesn’t tell Emory is, he’s deeply in love with her. She thinks they’re only friends, but he worships the ground she walks on. Still, he keeps his feelings at bay, that is until he feels like his younger brother, Giovanni is moving in on his territory. Now, Remington knows he must CLAIM his woman and let her know his true feelings. Keeping their "arrangement" a secret is no longer an option.

Cute Contemporary

This was such a cute contemporary based on a fake marriage. I truly enjoyed the way that Remy expressed his love for Emory and how he was never ashamed of his feelings for her. It made me swoon. While I thought that the ended was rushed I would definitely be interested in seeing how they develop as a couple in the companion novels.

This was a fun read. It was an unconventional relationship. Friends to lovers!!

I must admit, Emory did work my nerves at times. She assumed so much but never actually asked questions. And Remy had an issue expressing himself. He also assumed she was just supposed to know how he felt. Granted, Emmie should have used context clues and realized their situation was much more than just a friendship (his own family said they thought something was up, but no one ever touched on it). Remy SHOWED her everything, but she didn't notice. There were secrets and miscommunication all throughout, but it was developed nicely. Once they both told their truths, it was up from there. But I loved the way Remy loved Emmie and baby, once he decided to love my girl OUTLOUD, OH MY GOSH!! Everyone was like, who is this Man?! And once she broke down his walls... they really grew on me!!

Also note, this is an age gap romance (10 years), so you see the lapse in maturity a little but once they open the line of communication it's good. It does take a while to get there, in the book, but worth the ride.

Not so good

After reading the Alexander series, this was a let down. The story line was not strong. The love scenes were the worst. I did not enjoy this book and will not recommend it to anyone. Just my opinion.

Good read

This story was a good follow up to the prequel. I'm not fully sold on the characters. I thought Emmie was a bit soft and Remi to be a but forceful but overall the storyline was a good one. I would recommend to my reader friends.

Remington was too autocratic and expected Emory to be entirely on board with his decisions without discussing anything with her. Throughout the book, he had a habit of keeping information from her that she should know and he didn't change that even at the end. I'm sure he spun it in his mind as being loving and protective, but I can't imagine that 20 years of that wouldn't drive her nuts. Emmy was a nice person with a fine brain that he didn't seem to give her credit for. I feel like jealousy prompted his change toward her and that if his brother hadn't posed a threat to him, he might have continued behaving the way he previously had. Everything that happened in the story was on his timeline and then he acted hurt and annoyed that Emory didn't immediately fall all over herself to get with his program. Overall I found the story pretty bizarre and Remington disappointing but I liked the family set up so I'm going to read the next book in the series.

Avalanche

Well, aside from the one essential detail which apparently occurred between the prequel & book 1, …ooh, and evidently Remington’s reputation as a perpetual bachelor preceded him & warranted his siblings concerns 👀. Really😏, because the deception seemed juvenile & unnecessary & created an avalanche of distrust 🧐🤷🏾‍♀️⁉️ Meanwhile, “Claiming You (A Lennox in Love - Book 1)” was initially inundated with ambiguity & disingenuous motives which created insecurities & hostility. Again, why⁉️…Remington should have lead with the truth at least to Emory than his siblings & avoided the covert conversations 🤦🏾‍♀️🥴‼️ Nonetheless, “Claiming You” (3.75 ⭐️’s) was still a decent read.

Mind Blowing!

There's nothing like the feeling of being wanted and constantly being reminded that you are wanted. It's beautiful, joyful, patience, confidence, love, connective and growth between two or more parties involved. I love the determination, the dominance and the methodical persona Remington portrays. His protective nature and patience speaks massive volumes over everything he did to get and win her love. 🙏 I'm glad Emory took a chance on believing, becoming open and deserving over her life choices, especially with Rem. Wow! This man is beastly.😘 Great Read! ReneeG!

Speechless

First let explain why I titled this review speechless!
I did read the prequel Caught in the Storm and I had so many question . About Emory isolation and Remington ability to be honest and truthful with Emory.
And having got to Claiming you it all exceeded my expectations. Not on was Remington honest and Truthful but he made Emory his main priority. Put he wants and need before his own . Loving each other they way each deserve .
I am excited to get to book 2 Giovanni Story . Thank you Author Tina Martin for providing another wonderful read 😃😃😃

This book took place two years after Remy and Emory met. Emory moved to Bryson City to be around Remy and his family, but Emory had a secret that hadn't told the family. Remy finally decided to let Emory know that he was in love with her and wanted to be with her. Emory had her doubts, but he proved to her that she wasnt like the other women he dealt with. I love the relationship Emory had with his family and how she finally found out the truth about Remy coming to her. This was a great ending to the story of Emory and Lennox!!!

Claiming You, by Tina Martin, was a fun read. The storyline had common elements with a little bit of a twist. I loved the way she weaved the characters together and drew out a solid friendship. Her writing is beautiful, creative, and intriguing.

The book was definitely time well spent, and I liked learning about the Lennox Family. The Author does a great job of building your interest, describing attractive characters, and making their lives interesting. This is a great book I would read again and recommend.

A Very Sweet and Sensual Romantic Novel

Claiming You (A Lennox in Love Book 1) is a very sweet and sensual romantic novel that earned a rating of four stars. Remington Lennox fell in love with Emory when he met her during a snow storm and he made up his mind to always take care of her. They had o overcome many obstacles to find their love for each other. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading good romantic novels.

That Remy

I am glad that his mother had the hindsight to realize that Emmie was the perfect wife for Remy to make sure they would meet. I just found it funny that he finally found the courage to let her know about his feelings because he thought she was getting too close to his brother. Just goes to show that even the big bad alpha can act like a big baby when it comes to their one.

I enjoyed getting to know Emory and Remington. I read the prequel Caught in the Storm with a Lennox first and was happy to see how their story unfolded. Remington is methodical and has one intention when he meets Emory. To keep his company, his mother left a few musts in her will. But when Remington lays eyes on Emory, all of that changes. He honors her wishes, but in his own way and in his own time. Their love story is unique and I can’t wait to read about the rest of the Lennox family.

loved it!

This book sat in my kindle library far too long. I wish I had of read it the moment I downloaded it. Great love story! The only thing that was confusing was the switch between first and third person. But overall this was definitely a 5 star love story. Cant wait to read book 2!

Remington was very strategic and methoical...just like his sister said. This to his mother he found his one. Convincing her that she was the one was his biggest challenge. Emory has no clue how her life was going to change the day she helped a stranded stranger. A simple love story, periodt.

This was a really cute novella surrounding the Marriage of Convenience trope, but I’ve never read one like this. You can just feel the tension as you read it, & the whole reason for their marriage wasn’t just for convenience either. Emory & Remington’s story was heartfelt, deals with the passing of a loved one, & how that said loved one brought them together. Very beautiful story.

Book#2 – Remington Lennox and Emory McNeil have been close friends for about two years. One year ago, Remy quietly married Emory in what he described as a business arrangement something private between friends with no need to tell his family. Emory believes their marriage is purely practical and remains unaware of Remy’s deeper feelings. What she doesn’t know is that Remy has been secretly in love with her from the moment they met. He has kept his feelings hidden to protect their friendship. When he notices his younger brother showing interest in Emory, his jealousy forces him to confront his own emotions. He realizes he can’t sit by quietly anymore and decides it’s time to claim Emory as his own and confess his love and end the charade of secrecy.

Short and sweet! I really liked this story about secretly married friends who fight against ruining their friendship by falling in love. But there are some secrets that Remington is keeping that could cause Emory to run far, far away.

Love makes do crazy things

Remy has had Emmie in hometown for two years. He married her in secret one year ago. However unbeknownst to Emmie that is about to change. See what Remy does to blow the lid off the secret. Great read..

2.75- Still cute. But it was a bit annoying to me when Emory was still questioning if Remy wanted to be with her when he already told her that he wanted to be with her. Tired. And also, Emory you are special. You are not a girly girl, like the other girls. Okay.

What a way to start a relationship! The family dynamics are not what I expected. Glad this story addressed “assumptions”. Honesty and clear communication are essential.

This was an unconventional read. I was disappointed with the character and storyline development. This book was over before it really got started. This one really left me wanting more. The two main characters were almost both spoiled. Not my favorite overall.

a beautiful Novella

I loved the plot! Alba knew what she was doing when she placed those stipulations in her will. Who knew they’d fallen so deeply in love with each other? I know it’s a novella but after reading I was ready for more. I will be continuing the series.

Quick Read

Enjoyed this quick read with a cute storyline. The two main characters were slightly annoying with drawing things out or not being clear when clarity was needed, but that’s the way the story goes. I like Remi and can’t wait to read about his brother Gio.
