Vi's a small-town girl with big city dreams. Born and raised in Texas, she's always had her eyes to the stars. Telling stories is her passion and when she can mix a whole lot of steam with equal parts sexy alien hunks, well, things just get that much better, right?
An ardent Rangers fan, she believes all men should come in a yummy beefcake package and that's exactly the kind of heroes she prefers. A curvy woman herself, Vi likes to write heroines as sassy as she is.
She likes indulging in a little wine and a little chocolate, but her first love int life is writing and everything else follows second.
Alien General's Bride Alien General's Chosen Alien Warrior's Mate Alien General's Fated This is the first time I have read anything by Vi Voxley but this book got my attention! It's the 5th book in the series but I had no trouble picking it up and reading with out feeling lost. It was great so much storyline. It's a must to keep my attention and it was awesome. 5th book is about Ryden, he is a Brion General sent to defend Ilotra. Aria is an ambassador from Terra. She was a signed to keep the Brion General in line. Lol as if anyone could. The Enemy are the Clayars , they want to take over everything. Wow what a fight. The action is top notch. I love the characters, it just doesn't get any better then this! Awesome story! You will not be disappointed. I am hooked!
to many to read on each one but the generals are men and woman would want yummy.. loved these books. wasn't sure i would read the first and was hooked. the books are more than just sex, yes there is sex, but the story is great. they might be eye candy but these men r alpha all the way. and to be one of their fated would be wonderful.. they r scary but who isn't when u r a alien general..
This is a great scifi series about the Brion warriors🐺🔪, the most feared aliens in the universe! They are also the handsomest🐺🍌🗻👐🔪, tallest, most ripped,💪 and the best lovers🍌🍌 ever. They only bite if you want them to! And they mate forever! YEHAW! Ride em Bareback🍌, Cowgirl! 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
I enjoyed this whole series of stories about the Brion General's and their fated mated. These are great romantic and action stories that are very well written.
This was an excellent collection of alien romances by Vi. There are so many dynamic couples in here. There's plenty of action and drama along with sexy times too.
Book 1 Deliya and Darien This is a great start to the brides series. This book is different to other alien romances. In this book both Hh are alien of the same race. Broin are a warrior race the protect other plants and galaxies. Deliya is a respect leader and responsible for her own warriors. Darien is a trusted elite commander and is sent to places that need extra support or more leadership. Hh annoy each other quite a lot before the sexual tension almost kills them. Hh suit each other well and the sex scene we're very hot and heavy. Sure panty melter. Great HEA but may have liked a epilogue. Book 2 Narath and Urenya Wonderful second book in series. Narath is a Broin warrior and after meeting Urenya as a young unclassified healer knows that she is her geisha bride but with the recent death of her gerion husband and threat of death by Diego he leaves her to grieve. After she qualified as a healer Diego request her to be the healer for his ship. There Narath can't resist her and while in a potentially fatal attack Narath tells her she's his geisha. Great HEA/story and continuation of the great scifi world. Looking forward to more. Book 3 Diego and Isolde This is the 3rd Brion Brides book. The H is Diego who you've already met in previous book in series and the h is a human called Isolde. Diego is summoned onto another alien ship asking him to transport a human to a newly discovered planet Rhea. When he meets Isolde he know straight away she's his fate mate gesha. Only problem is Isolde is human and doesn't feel the same pull. Each book is very different, each mated couple relationship works out different so nothing has been repeatedly done. This book is more graphic and violent but you get so sucked in you can't put it now. Definitely reading the other standalone books after. Great HEA. Book 4 Faren and Leiya This is the 4th in the Brion Brides series. In previous books you meet Faren and his twin but Diego kills him and Faren sides with Diego over the traitor Eren. Faren in the series barely talks, mostly says no or grunts so it's no surprise that his book has a huge amount of internal talking. This i didn't mind because it fits the character. Leiya is a rare Brion singer that at a concert try to find her friends so climbs on to a table and falls into Faren lap. There's more to Leiya then meets the eye and Faren knows her secret straight away. Faren kidnaps Leiya believing her to be in danger. I really enjoyed this book and getting to see more sides to Faren character but in the end he didn't change or because a sappy wimp after meeting his fated mate gesha. Leiya developed more over the pages and finally got more of a backbone. She didn't turn bloodthirsty but at least dealt with the fact that she is mated to one of the most scared of general's in the whole Broin army. Great HEA.
I have read all four books, just not in this bundle, however I wish that I had – then I wouldn’t have had to wait to read more! Here is what I thought of all four books:
Alien General’s Bride: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This was a new author for me so I was happy to read and review. I was intrigued by the “new” world created by Ms. Voxley and it was nice to read about a “strong” heroine, one who can match the hero in battle. Deliya and Darien do battle together before they get their HEA. And the road to their HEA takes a few twists and turns and that’s the part I enjoyed. I liked the book and recommend. It intrigued me enough to want to read more of this series, if the author writes ‘em.
Alien General’s Chosen: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. We are back to the “new” world created by Ms. Voxley this time about a healer and a warrior. Urenya and Narath have a different journey to their HEA. Urenya is a healer (to-be at the beginning of the story) and Narath is a warrior. Urenya has just lost her “intended” (the basis of the series so I won’t explain) and is just beginning to come into her own as a healer. We meet Narath as he is just beginning his service as a warrior. This story doesn’t have a lot of depth to it but it is a good read. It’s quick and fast and I read it in one sitting.
Alien Warrior’s Mate: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I’ve been reading this new series by Ms. Voxley and I have to say this story is my favorite. General Diego Grothan, the commander of the Triumphant, is one of the toughest warriors/leaders of the Brion people. And Isolde Fenner, human, has just been put into his care. The story that follows these two to their HEA is at times funny, sad, sweet, hot, bloody and enjoyable. It really is a twisting and in depth story so I won’t recap but well worth the read. As I said, it is my favorite of the three books so far.
Alien Warrior’s Wife: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Wow. Faren’s story is terrific. Makes me smirk, probably much the same as Faren would do. Leiya and Faren get their HEA in this one but it’s a long road to get there. Lots of heartwarming moments, tons of action, and bad guys get their due. And we get to watch a fearless general fall. Hard. I liked it!
I've read this series from the beginning, and have received each book in exchange for an honest review. I've really enjoyed this series, and have looked forward to each new book being released. I'm only a tad bit jealous of everyone that gets to read the boxed set because you get to binge read without waiting for each one to be released, lol.
Alien General's Bride: I really enjoyed this story, and was pulled in from the very beginning. Isolde and Diego are the perfect match for each other, and I really enjoyed seeing their relationship develop, and seeing them get their HEA.
Alien General's Chosen: This series keeps getting better with each book, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more books in the series. I liked Leiya from the beginning, and while it took me a little time to warm up to Faren, I definitely liked him by the end. He and Leiya were a good match, and I was happy to see them get their HEA. The only thing that kept this book from being a five star was the sadness of Faren losing his brother.
Alien Warrior's Mate: While I read pretty much everything, I'm normally not a big fan of the sci-fi genre, however Vi Voxley is definitely an exception and is one of my new favorite authors! Deliya is a strong female lead, and I love that she's a warrior. I haven't been able to find many books where the heroine is a warrior/fighter/etc, so that alone drew my interest to this book. Things just got better from there! I absolutely loved Darien. He's the perfect match for Deliya. I really enjoyed seeing their relationship develop, and how they dealt with all of the danger surrounding them. No spoilers, but I will say this book has an HEA and no cliffhangers.
Alien Warrior's Wife: This was a very interesting and quick read that I enjoyed. I really liked seeing Urenya and Narath become close and seeing their relationship develop. The book was very well written, and I always look forward to seeing more from this author. The only reason for the three stars, instead of the four I otherwise would have rated it, is because of the sadness of Urenya losing her first fated mate. Even though she hadn't really known him, I still found that to be really sad and put a taint on the book I didn't care for. But that's just a personal preference, and if that kind of thing doesn't bother you, than I'm sure you'll enjoy the book.
I first read book six in the Brion Brides series, then picked up this bundle and am so glad I did! I loved it, couldn't put it down, missed alot of sleep and can't wait to begin book five. Some observations: The bundle book order is off chronologically, as it begins with book three (the longest) then book four, one ( SS/novella) and two (SS/novella). Since I started with six, that wasn't an issue for me. But if you are new to the series, you may want to read them in chronological order. Also, the black color option for this bundle on my Kindle presents a totally black page, no print is visible. The lighter color options work fine, however. Sentence structure and punctuation had me rereading some, but that also wasn't a major issue because I enjoyed it so much. What I didn't enjoy so much was the initial silliness of the heroines in the series order books three and four. That was overcome as the story progressed, possibly maturation under fire? Overall, this is a set I recommend and will put on my reread list. It is a 4.5 star KU Library read.
Although sci-fi isn't my normal read, I really enjoyed this story. Book four General Faren is one of the fiercest Brion warriors and he is feared by many. But when he realizes he has met his fated, all bets are off. Can he show her he has feelings for her? Or will he lose her to another? Leiya is a singer who is starting to think about finding her mate. Although she hates everything that the warriors stand for, she can admit that Faren is HOT! When she realizes her life is in danger and that she truly is as different as she has always felt, she runs to Senator Primen for answers. Although Faren tells Leiya she is his gesha she fights it and runs from him. She isn't ready for her life to take such a drastic change. When things start to happen and she see's that what she has always believed is a lie, will she agree to be his mate? Will either of them survive the war? Will the two end up together or are there to many factors fighting against them? ARC provided for review
I loved reading these books, the only problem I had was it say that these book are standalone books. With that to a point they are, but if you get the bundle pack like I did it comes with a recommended order to read them by. So that is what I did, the first 3 books a in good order which it goes book 3,4,2 then 1 but I honestly believe you should read the first book first! Even though I knew the outcome of book one I still enjoyed watching their story unfold in the end! Each story had a different hurdle that each character had to overcome to truly be happy with the decision that they chose! I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys scifi romance as well as a good fight!
First book - kind of awful. 2.5 stars. The heroine was constantly scared and got annoying at times. I don't understand why the hero even liked the heroine - there was nothing special about her. If I was him, I would've been disappointed in having her as my fated. The story got boring after a while. I also didn't like the fact that the hero surrounded her with his ex- lovers for her protection. All this build up and then they finally sleep together and their bond doesn't seem anything special. I started to think this bond is kinda dysfunctional and disappointing.
Second book - 3.5 stars. Better than the first book.
Two novellas at the end - enjoyed them more than the two books. Probably because the heroines weren't annoying humans!
These books are amazing! They keep You wanting more and more! You get to learn about the Brions species. There Alpha males, sexy, warriors. The most feared of all species. With fighting and saving planets from destruction they meet there mates. Even when you would not think of a human and brion being the perfect pair like with Ari , and Ryder in the generals fated, Vi has such a gift for writing these sci-fi romances. You can see each alien in your head knowing what the author wanted you to imagine. Perfect for sci-fi Lovers, with tons of action an Hot romance of course!
I read the books as they were released and really enjoyed the series.
Those Brion men are tough. When they find their mate, there is nothing they won't do to keep her safe and happy.
Their mates are not the ones they expected but are perfect for them.
The stories are well-written and the characters are well-developed. You get alternating narrators so you get to know both of them better in terms of their motivations and feelings.
Each story is going to just hook you!! The characters and their storyline is fascinating and the intriguing layers to their world and relationships are absolutely engaging. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND YOU PICK UP THIS BUNDLE AND GET THE NEXT ADDITION TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE ALL OF THEM!! You're gonna love reading about all of them!!
A quick read full of ultra alpha m e n and the Earth women who tame them. The writing is pretty good. A few grammar mistakes but probably just bad editing. The characters are multilayered and very interesting.
This is the second time I've read this series the first time I bought the books separately now in this box set it's just gets better every time I read them. I hope the series continues for a long time. 18+
