Secret Identities Revealed and Reveled In

This was originally broken into four parts, but now it's down to the introductory chapter and the complete series. My recommendation is to just go for the series.

The first part of Cleopatra "Cleo" Cantrell (pen name Dominique Darling) and Tony Markson's story is heated and goes by quickly. I do like that we get some history on Cleo's last relationship. It makes a couple of incidents with Tony all the more understanding.

“The man’s got a pretty face,” Cleo joked. “And he’s hot in a squeeze-my-thighs-together kind of way. That doesn’t mean he’s the right guy to turn my book into a movie.”

Things move along quickly between them. When dessert turns into DESSERT, I was willing to sacrifice myself for seconds and thirds. Wonderfully enough, Tony and Cleo felt the same. 🔥🥵🎉 There's a mirror scene... woo, I wanted more of that whole thing.

There are several delicious encounters throughout the book. There are also some highly entertaining moments, like when she opens the can of worms to her parents. Talk about laughing out loud! 😆🤣 Add in some interesting friends and other family shenanigans, and it's more than just gratuitous smut.

I read along with the audio book. The narrator, Akaya Birdine, was very easy to listen to. I enjoyed the steady pace, pronunciation, and quality of the vocals. There were a few times when the emotion of the voice didn't match the words on the page, but it was otherwise a good listen.

Wonderful story!

I really enjoyed this story! I liked the rub in the beginning when Cloe thought Tony was just another pretty face and him showing his need to prove he was more than just a pretty face to himself as well as his family. I liked seeing the ups and downs, the draw backs of celebrity life. Plenty of humor, great story!

I really enjoyed the storyline and the fact that al four books were bundled.
It’s been a while since I’ve read a book written by Lucia Jordan, but I always found them very steamy. So I was looking forward to this audiobook.
The story itself was great, but listening to it was like a cold shower for me. I found that the narrator used a voice that showed no passion at all. And the pronunciation of some words / sentences made me cringe.

I really fell for these two characters. Cleo. A bookstore owner/author. Tony an extremely handsome, and it turns out kind and smart, actor. They met because he wanted to make Cleo's boo, Too Pretty, into a movie. It really struck a cord with him, as he felt he had disadvantages by being so handsome......whatever!

I received a complimentary Audible version of this book from the author through Story Origin. I am giving the narrator 4 stars. She did a nice job with her voices. I just felt she got a little sing songy and blah a couple times.
