A friendly seas monster who whisks Lucy away on a magical adventure to rescue her pet cat; a journey to Chocolate Island where a spring of the most delicious chocolate bubbles up from the ground; and a large kitchen cupboard in which a hungry, lost, little dragon is hiding.
These three delightful titles come from the Usborne Young Puzzle Adventure series. Each story is designed for young readers to enjoy on their own and for younger children to share with an adult. They are guaranteed to capture the imagination of all.
Usborne is not the greatest thing ever that it was a decade or so back. We read Chocolate Island and based on my general dislike of it, will not be searching out the other two titles.
