Chiiile...I was hooked from page uno.
Maybe it's me but SK's previous novels toe the line between sexy and erotic, and they tend to be a little more face-paced and story-rich. I like that about her reads. The last two I've read have been more sexy/sweet and a bit more predictable. I like the way she writes but I feel like some of her previous books (NOT the Sin City series) put her in a whole different category. There are not many writers who put out a legitimately good erotic romance with black characters. They are usually lacking in depth, hood-tastic, or not written well enough for me to get caught up in the unrealistic storylines.
But here's the thing: even thought she pulled back on the erotic level and the amount of plot twists and turns, it's still a novel a cut above the rest in this genre. Still, I would love to see the "Sins and Betrayals," "Being Barron" and "Compromising Circumstances" SK on my shelf again. And I'll be waiting patiently.

Great read
I am always excited when Author SK drops a book because I know it will be exciting. This book came as a welcome surprise. Quinton and Kyla's story is appropriately named but proves that even relationships that started in Deception can prevail and end with an HEA.
From the beginning, the characters just jumped off the pages and drew me in. It chronicles the ins and outs of the music industry and it was very believable. Another check in the win column for this author, who happens to be one of my favorites. Looking forward to Treyvon and Chyna's story.

I've missed you S.K!!!! You brought the Heat with Quinton and lil brother Treyvon. These boys are true alpha males, sweet as cupcakes until you cross them, then they become some Hot vicious snakes that can't be stopped. Quinton meets sweet little Kyla, well is she really sweet or is she a little sour; time will tell. They have great chemistry, alot in common maybe a little bit too much in common; when they really get to know each other will their chemistry be enough to keep them together. I absolutely love this book.

Fantastic
I have read all of SK books. I must say I love her writing. This book here did not disappoint either. I loved the characters in this book, once again that Angel Lacroix comes out of the Sin City series to save the day, just love it. I am so ready for part two to the Deception series, but the fall is just too far, I was thinking more like late spring.

Awesome Read!
OMG! SK has done it again! Quinton and Kayla journey was amazing, you never knew what was going to happen next couldn't put it down. I definitely recommend this book. Can't wait to read Chyna and Trey it's going to be off the chain.

Deception leads to love
This was a classic Author SK novel with mystery and hot love scenes. We are introduced to Quinton & Trey King and we also get a quick appearance from a face from a past novel. Definitely looking forward to more from the Kings!

Another great one
This is the second book I've read by this author and was not disappointed.This book was really good.I wanted to see Ky and Quint's relationship start not them already being in a relationship, nonetheless a very very good book.

Good Reading
This was a five star read. Loved the relationship between the brothers. The building love with Ky and Q was crazy sexy. Loved the revisit of one of my favorite SK characters.
