Make nice with the President of the Alpha Wolves Motorcycle Club.

Yeah right.

It was what my job description called for—I just never realized exactly how nice I needed to be.
I certainly never expected to find myself twisted up and tangled in the raw, dirty world of an outlaw motorcycle club … or in the sexy, tattooed hands of the man in charge.

Royal McBride is a jerk—but a jerk with a swoon worthy accent, a big bike, and big … well, other things.

I didn't think falling in love with him would threaten my life. His life.
That we'd both risk losing everything we hold dear.

The mayor's daughter … an outlaw MC president.
It's a match made in heaven … a match tested in hell.

RAW AND DIRTY EXCERPT

“Baby,” he says, pushing up against me so I can feel his c**k straining against the tight seams of his leather riding pants. “Trust me. I'm going to work you harder than you've ever been worked before. You'll need that food in there just to recover enough strength to stand.”
Royal shoves me back suddenly, pinning my body against the living room wall with his much larger frame, leaving just enough room between us to reach up and take hold of the zipper on my leather jacket.
My breath catches.
“Only downside to all this riding gear,” he says as he pulls the zipper down at an agonizingly slow pace, “is that it's a b***h to take off.” I watch his fingers, mesmerized by the color on his skin, the art that he wears so well, the roses and the vines and the pistols. Guess I'll finally get to see what he's hiding under that shirt of his.
But I don't move to touch him, not yet.
He isn't saying anything, but I can feel him taking control of the encounter, forcing me to relax and let go a little. I never really liked being submissive during sex, but … with Royal, I can see the appeal. Right now, I'd let him do anything he wanted. I don't want to have to think about what I'm doing or if I'm making a fool out of myself. I just want to feel him, all of him.
Once the jacket's unzipped, he slides it from my shoulders with that same careful slowness, his fingertips brushing against my bare arms as he tosses it aside and cups my face in his hand.
“I don't know what it is about you, my dear sweet Deputy Mayor,” Royal says, his voice dark and deep and hungry. I feel my tongue sliding across my lower lip. “But I want you. Bad. I want to make you mine.”
He caresses my chin, the power in his grip astounding, but he holds back enough that it doesn't hurt, not at all.
“It's a shame you're so prim and proper or I might be tempted to make you my old lady.” He slides his thumb over my lower lip and instead of telling him off or how we'd never work together, how this is only for one night, I bite it.
Royal's brows come up and his mouth quirks into a grin.
I think we're both enjoying this fantasy.
“Naughty girl,” he says sliding his hand down, trailing his fingers across my throat, over my breasts, until he finds the bottom of my tank top. “I feel like you deserve to be punished for that.”

***3,5 "Pint-Size" stars from me***

Honestly, i didn't know how to rate this book....
It was an interesting story, but i have to admit that this was my first MC book.
So, it seemed a little bit foreign to my tastes...
And maybe, that's why i got confused.

The sure thing is that bikers are a little bit different from the rest of my book boyfriends but they succeeded to intrigue me... a lot!!! Especially this son of a bitch, Royal McBride!!!
And yes, he was English... with raw and dirty attitude, sexy accent... Yep, he got the moves!!!!

But wait, i have to take things from the beginning...

Lyric Rentz is mayor's daughter and she had take over the hard job to make a sort of "peace" between the MC's club in town and the mayor...
Hmmm.... A difficult task in my opinion, but she is determined to succeed in her goal...

...because she wants her father to be proud of her and to accept her and of course, then she will have for good the position of the Deputy Mayor. Not just temporary...
But she didn't calculate in the equation the President of the "Alpha Wolves" motorcycle club and her reaction to him...

Royal McBride was the younger president in the club and he wasn't by chance in this position.
He had lots of shits to deal with lately, so he doesn't need more troubles...

He could never thought that the bigger trouble would come in the form of a tiny good looking woman who dressed like a nanny but she was feisty and determined as hell and that combination turned him on so much that he couldn't keep his hands away from her...
This woman was full of surprises...

So, those two had a strong attraction that they couldn't hold restrained, but it was impossible for them to be together. Their worlds were miles apart...

Even though there was a lot of chemistry between them how can the daughter of the mayor and a president of an MC to be together???
I'm still wondering myself, but as much as they tried (Okay, their efforts weren't too strong!), they couldn't stay away from each other...

"You're mine, but I can't have you.
You're mine, but you betrayed me.
You're mine, but this will never happen again.
You're mine. You're mine. Mine."

So what will happen next with them???
Could they work a relationship together???

And what about all those things that are happening around them??? What will be the result???
Corrupted agents of FBI, rats, betrayals, other MC's that got in the way...
There are much more things that going on around them and in the middle of all of them were Lyric and Royal...

"That's our relationship right there in a single word. Irresponsible. Or stupid. Or reckless. Dangerous, painful, brief, raw, new, intense, untried, broken, battered."

I loved Royal... Yep, i have a thing with bad boys etc. and he was the kind of guy that you would love in a book... Gorgeous, raw, determined, powerful and i liked the fact that he wasn't malicious. Usually, those guys are mean and ruthless, but Royal was calmed and calculating in a good way. He preffered to not harm anyone, and if that was the deal he would do it with half heart.

A recent betrayal hurt him a lot and he was feeling guilty of what was forced to do...
He knew that Lyric wasn't for him, but the pull was too strong to ignore it!!!

I'm not just Royal McBride. I'm the president of the Alpha Wolves Motorcycle Club, and I can't have a deputy mayor as my old lady. Beyond that, I can't have someone around me that I can't trust, who's not a part of my world, who doesn't even understand the implications of their own betrayal.
Fuck no.
This is a dangerous place for someone like Lyric Rentz."

I liked Lyric. She seemed so preppy and serious, but underneath of that mask, she was feisty and strong. She wasn't giving up in anything and i liked that. Yep, in some point, she made a big mess, but i liked very much her general transformation because of Royal. She stopped pretending and she started to live and i really liked that!!!

"Royal and me, we get along so well, have so much chemistry. If he wasn't an MC president, I'd say we were a match made in heaven. Right now though, this sure feels like hell."

Okay, i still don't understand why all those MC's had their own slug and why the hell they are calling their woman as "Old lady"???
How they call the old ladies, ugh????

I also didn't like that the romance (if i can call it like that!!!) between Royal and Lyric was a little bit rushed!!!

Well, generally i liked this story and now i'm very curious to learn what will happen next...
So damn curious...

This story had its ups and downs for me. I enjoyed Royal's blunt pursuit of Lyric. He pretty much fills in your unapologetic alpha role to the tee. Lyric is the mayor's daughter. At first, pretending and failing at Royal not having an effect on her. Was it sexy? Yes. Was it deep? I'd say the potential was there but it was not brought to fruition. The plot had some pacing issues. Some parts trek along well while others are plot critical and are glanced over. A part of me is curious about what's next. The other part thinks I might need to let it go. I've read many MC books and this is on the lower spectrum for me.

“Raw and dirty and … yours. I hope you're fucking ready for this shit.”

Raw and Dirty was Royal and Lyric's story, his world and her world are like oil and water. They shouldn't give in to temptation, but where's the fun in that. I have to say, I seriously love their names, Royal was downright sexy with his charm and accent, Lyric was more on the uptight side but had fire in her that couldn't wait to be released. The characters for me were much stronger together, but apart dealing with their world I wasn't too impressed, especially for the positions they help. Royal was a young Prez, but it shouldn't matter, he almost had no hold on his club. Lyric bounced from the prim and proper world to the club life, hypocritical in her words vs. her actions.

This should have been a slam dunk read for me, but personally me and the book didn't connect. I was told the story vs. living in it, explained things to instead of allowing myself to understand. While it was a slow beginning for me, it sped up along the way. This dual POV of a read, comes to an end for now, but you know there is more to come for these two.

Raw and Dirty
(Bad Boys MC #1)
By Violet Blaze

This is the first book from this author that I've read & I must say I really enjoyed it! RAW AND DIRTY (BOOK 1 of 3 in the BAD BOYS MC TRILOGY) - a full-length novel, no cliff hanger

The mayor's daughter … and outlaw MC president.
It's a match made in heaven … a match tested in hell. That’s saying it mildly
Royal and Lyric's they live in two different world’s … Royal is MC President…. Lyric she works for her daddy in the mayor office as Deputy Mayor

Lyric only job right now is to get Royal to sign contract between the Mayor’s office & MC for her father's political campaign..
Royal isn’t in the mood to deal up tight prissy women after all that’s happen in his club lately…

I love the good girl, bad boy thing….. if you are looking for fast read. Full of steamy sex scenes & intense an alpha male- rival gangs, FBI investigation & SEX-WOW.. Oh sorry did I say sex more than once… Lol.. I guess you can tell their steamy sex scenes

It was a good start to Lyric & Royal's story. I look forward to reading Violet Blaze's next book Risky and Wild.
I would definitely love to read more about Alpha Wolves Motorcycle Club. Violet Blaze is now on my list of favorite authors

ARC kindly provided by Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

This is the story of Lyric and Royal. I have to admit that I am really confused with their story. The plot has a lot of potential for me -Deputy Mayor and MC President fall for each other- but somewhere something was lost. The writing is ok and the story is written by dual POV changing in each chapter. However I missed the depth of their relationship and their connection. Even the sex felt like a fling and nothing deeper although it was super intense.

Lyric is the up-tight girl with a fire inside of her that needs some encouragement to come out. I liked her. She is not fake and she follows her feelings.

Royal is a real bad boy. He is the President of a MC and he knows what involves. I didn't particularly liked him as he has a dark side that is a bit too strong for me.

The end of the book left me with a lot of questions and that's the reason for the 3.5 stars. I understand what happens among Lyric and Royal, but I don't understand what happens with the MC Club and everything around them. The end felt kind of sudden and abrupt to me. I know another book is coming but I am not sure that it's related to this storyline.

I saw people's reviews and most of them where like - meh and I'm practically rookie with MC books but this book is really made for me...
I'm happy I started this book and I loved that in general I give a chance MC books and passed my prejudice with MC books
Our characters in this story are Royal and Lyric thinking that they are totally different in the end it turned out that Royal has something what for me so good supplements Lyric and she just needed the right person to show what she actually is.

"This thing between us , it's a fucking nightmare waiting to happen."

This book is...as the title describes it : raw and dirty !

Lyric is the mayor's daughter sent to make a deal with the MC and sign a the contract for her father's political campaign..

Royal is a cold blood, rude asshole who doesn't let anyone mess with his club, including the club's VP, Ladon, who happens to be Royal's best friend. But friendship and brotherhood doesn't stand in Royal's way when he needs to protect the rest of the club. He does whatever is necessary with no regrets or without looking back.

However , when Lyric steps into the picture , she turns Royal into " a confused, moody asshole."

At first I didn't liked Lyric, not sure if I like her now, But these two seem to be a perfect match .They are the opposite of the spectrum but together they complete one another.

Soon the drama unfolds and Royal needs to chose between protecting Lyric ( who without intention caused all the drama for the MC) or make justice for his club once more.

"Even if this all falls to pieces and goes to hell in a handbasket at some point."

The mayor's daughter and the president of an outlaw MC.

"This isn't going to end well, is it? "

MC books are a hit or miss with me and this book was a definite hit! I almost didn't read this book but the description grabbed my attention and I had to give it a chance. I'm so glad that I did. I loved the heroine. The fact that Lyric is a prim and proper young lady that had some fire buried in her made it fun to read about her and a Royal butting heads. Royal was the usual player but I liked that from the moment he met Lyric he didn't look at another girl even if he didn't realize it at first. There were plenty of sparks flying between Lyric and Royal and this was a fun read. I look forward to reading more of Viloet Blaze's books!

This is a sexy as hell book about an MC president that is softer than he can afford to let his club know. And about the mayors daughter that falls for the hot alpha and discovers herself in the process. This is a fast paced, violent and loving story of how true love can overcome any obstacle. I was gifted this book for an honest review and it's a must read

3 Raw & Dirty Stars

I was in the mood for an MC book and remembered I had this one on my Kindle.

I thought Royal was a worthy MC president/anti-hero. photo quotescover-JPG-18_zps8ppfmya7.jpg
He had the usual tattoos, biker gear, and 8-pack. And an English accent (they didn't really explain that though).

He met Lyric and it was INSTA-LUST. For both of them. She's feisty, 28, and the mayor's daughter. She wants to be a politician and impress her dad by getting the local MC to sign some mysterious papers. There wasn't much more character development of Lyric than that except she dressed like an old lady in the first scene but by the same night she met Royal was dressed in a skin tight red dress wanting to rebel and leave her prim and proper persona behind.

From politician to...biker chick

It seems like within moments of meeting Royal he made her want to be naughty.

Being with Royal is like driving a sports car down the freeway at a hundred and twenty miles an hour, taking hairpin turns and throttling the accelerator at every straight stretch. It's fast and crazy and fun spiking the blood with adrenaline and making everything else outside the windows seem meaningless.
 photo SOA-Wallpaper-Jax-sons-of-anarchy-37679917-1440-900_zpsrjc35plb.jpg

I usually like a little more relationship building. They did the deed almost right away! I also thought that with them being opposites, I would have bought into their relationship a little more if they had been "enemies" for a little longer before being lovers.

Royal fell pretty fast for a badass MC Pres. It was actually kind of cute. But cute is usually NOT an adjective I use when reviewing an MC book.

Overall, it was a quick, easy read. It didn't exactly have a cliffy, but the story is to be continued in another book. This is my first book by Violet Blaze and I'll probably give another one a try!

Royal McBride is the president of the Alpha Wolves, British born and came to America when he was a teen, he prides himself on always putting his club, his brothers first. To prove that he killed his best friend the one person who made him feel welcome in America. Royal is hot and brooding and oozes sexuality he really is a wolf with his raw animal like attraction and aggression!
Lyric Rentz the good girl from the mayors office got one look at bad boy McBride and seemed to throw all her innocence out the window. By day she's the mayors daughter and Deputy Mayor and by night she's a sassy, feisty young woman who gets a thrill from playing with the President of an outlaw biker gang. Not that I blame her, Jesus, he's the kinda man you have dreams about, you know the really good ones where you don't wanna wake up! In fact I'll go as far as to say he's my new book boyfriend! Royal and Lyric have this connection from the get go and as this story develops so does their chemistry. The story was hot and action packed, full of great sex and the storyline is something good that I can't wait to see developed further throughout the rest of the series, it has a good basis and the story itself has me wanting to know more. What happened to make Landon, Royal's best friend and club VP turn on his own guys? can Lyric and Royal make something of their attraction? Will the other members be developed more? Glacier seems like someone I want to know more about and what better way than with sequels! I genuinely can't wait to read the rest of the series, I loved this book.

I wanted so badly for this to be 5 stars but I just couldn't do it. The only thing that made me lower the rating was probably a bit juvenile but it really threw me off and put a funk on my reading so I couldn't let it slide as much as I wanted to. Every time Royal said "bloody f*ck" I cringed and rolled my eyes at the same time. Brits don't say "bloody f*ck" it's one or the other for us and whenever he said it my head automatically had this gif of east is east and it really bothered me because he's supposed to be a Brit living in America but that just haunted me the whole way through no other British person I've ever had a conversation with has put those two words together in a sentence. Other than that though his use of British expletives such as twat and tosser were brilliant. I loved everything else about it and look forward to reading more from Violet Blaze.

Well what to say what to say....there is stuff I really liked and stuff that made me mad....but I think overall I really like this book and I want to read more on Royal and Lyric.

At first I did not like Lyric and I am not sure I really like her now. She is a very opportunistic person and she really doesn't care who gets on her way as long as she gets her way. She went on and on about the woman she replaced and then apparently does exactly what she thinks the replacement does and bags Royal at the first meeting. I didn't like how she judged averyone and felt she was so much better when she really wasn't. Her family is messed up and so is she. Lyric thinks she is so savvy, but there is a crap load of crap going on behind the scenes. She seems to be changing her tune at the end so I hope she can redeem herself in the next book.

Now Royal he is another subject....he is the reason for the 4 stars. He is what he is and doesn't make excuses. He has remorse and his own code of right and wrong. I don't particularly like how he treated Lyric at times but he always seems to realize what he has done and tries to make up. He has lots of depth and you almost can sense he wants to live his own life and may step down as the Prez one day. I also like how he watches and listens before truly acting. Sexy Alpha with tatoos!

The sex is hot and dirty. Dirty talking and spontaneous. HOT! It is not slow and sweet and I don't think every will be between them so don't expect it or be disappointed by it.

Good read had to finish quick and can't wait for the next one. There are lots of unanswered questions and a plot to find out!

Raw and Dirty is Book 1 of the series...C.M. Stunich writing as Violet Blaze.

Lyric Rentz’s father is the local mayor, she was recently promoted to Deputy Mayor as liaison since her predecessor left unexpectedly. At the beginning she is self-righteous, full of indignation. However...she quickly succumbs to Royal’s ‘charms’ and behaved more of a hormonal teenager exercising poor judgement than a 28-year old.

Lyric’s role is to establish an alliance between the Mayor’s office, advancing his political career by getting him re-elected, signing an agreement with the Wolves MC, whilst enhancing her private wish to a state senate seat.

Royal McBride, is President of the Alpha Wolves outlaw MC. Lyric contacted an old college boyfriend, Brent, an FBI employee towards influencing the MC into signing an alliance agreement. Brent had already been planning a visit but since he was under investigation, he took the opportunity to pursue his personal agenda.

Royal’s ‘late’ VP was corrupt and became involved with Brent and a rival MC. Sully her brother and Brent aligned themselves with Clayton Moore.

Royal has a soft core for Lyric and violates the MC code to protect her life, when she admits her involvement with Brent.

Brent was instrumental in the downfall of his late best-friend, Landon.

Though this reviewer is no stranger to MC romances, I’ll be honest and admit they can be hit or miss in regards to what I’ll accept in my romantic reads. In Raw and Dirty by Violet Blaze, I found myself trying to decide if it met one of my top criteria…must like/have some respect for the main characters. Because, really, what’s the point in a romantic HEA if you don’t think they actually deserved it. In this case, I’m still somewhat conflicted over Royal and Lyric.

***spoiler alert***

You see, Lyric’s actions didn’t always match how she was portrayed. She seemed much tougher, more resolved in the beginning, yet her brain and body became a complete pushover whenever she was around Royal. She certainly seemed too quick to let the hero touch her intimately and have his way with her well before I felt was credible or acceptable. It came across crude/crass, instead of romantic. Put it this way, she didn’t just shed her clothes, but also her self-respect by giving in so easily. It would have done this bad boy a world of good to actually have to work at winning a woman’s affection for once. Instead, it was a stereotypical MC scenario where every girl swoons at his feet. I had hoped this heroine would be different.

By 33% into it, Lyric changed from confident and determined to jumpy and afraid of everything. Basically, a hand wringer. By 60%, she was pretty much putty in the hero’s hands. At the same time, after spending an entire night with her, the hero appears to be ready to wipe his hands of her for the good of the club. She, likewise, tells herself to stay away from him. Do they? Of course not. So it became a back and forth…Do I or don’t I…type of scenario.

Royal at times had you feeling sorry for the tough choices he had to make. But, unfortunately, his ego and lack of respect for women had this true romantic at heart shaking her head in frustration. At 70%, I almost completely gave up on him. That’s when he marched into Lyric’s house, had a brief graphic intimate encounter with her, then abruptly left saying “Good-bye, have a nice life.” Ultimately, he did choose to do whatever was necessary to protect her from the chaos and bloodshed that broke out, including lying to his posse of friends. He also wasn’t with any other women after meeting/being instantly attracted to Lyric. Frankly, those two reasons were his only saving grace and earned his redemption. No easy feat considering I didn’t like his unapologetic, frequent inner monologues regarding his previous sexcapes with other women.

Now, some minor issues. 1.) A hammer worn on their belt was the weapon of choice, to avoid being charged with having illegal weapons on them. Not sure I bought that. These guys were after all in the business of dealing in illegal weapons. 2.) Pint-size as the heroine’s nickname. Really, he couldn’t come up with anything better?

I’ll wrap up by saying it ended with a dramatic, life-threatening event and a declaration of their feelings for one another. The ending definitely implied their relationship was going to cause a lot of fall-out for both of them. Hence, a sequel can pretty much be guaranteed.

Title: Raw and Dirty, Series: Bad Boys MC (Book 1), Author: Violet Blaze, Pages: 324, stand-alone, HEA implied but abrupt ending sets the stage for a sequel, MC violence, VERY graphic steamy scenes, crude language/behavior, references to hero having been with lots of OW with no remorse/shame, no cheating after meeting each other.

I received this book via NetGalley to give an honest review.
WHAT THE HE** did I just read?
So I believe this is my first ever MC book to read now I could be wrong but I am pretty sure I have never read a book that contained a motorcycle club now I had to go and look up this author and then I realized I have read work from this author before but under another name. Imagine how surprised I was to find this out I was like how did I not know this.
But any who onto the review, Royal and Lyric how freaking amazing are their names first of all. I mean that just screams hotness from the get go. Royal is the president of his MC in the process of being the president he has lost his brother in a way that he never hoped he would be in the position to lose him in.
Lyric she works for her dad and has made it certain to herself that will not fall for Royal not like the last person who had her job she is going to get him to do a job and be done with it all. But what do you do when the man you see before you is just too damn hot and makes your panties wet just by him giving you a look? Well in Lyric's case we all know the girl is going to fall for him but the question remains can they ever be together? She wants to move forward in her political career and he knows that their lifestyles don't mix. Just like oil and water. Though the question will remain until the end could these two ever be together?
Will the bikers get the justice they need to those that have betrayed them?
The sex scenes are hot and make you love Lyric and Royal even more. Now this is suppose to be a biker story but the way the author would talk about the biker life or what went on in the club that had to do with Royal's brother it was like she expected us to already know how this all happened. I found that a bit weird I would have like to know what made this character do what he did to his club. What ever happened to the dudes wife and kids?
I really liked how we got to see Royal fight within himself his feelings for Lyric he is this bad boy but you can see him falling in love so hard for her. Lyric on the other hand I liked how she feel for him but there was one scene within the club house I wasn't impressed with at all. It made me shake my head at her while reading it.
Overall a really amazing MC story and I plan on reading more from this trilogy I loved how this book ended without a cliff hanger.

3 "I'm Yours" Stars

So this one was a fast read. Full of steamy scenes and intense an alpha male. But it was only okay. I found myself confused with the main plot it kept getting twisted up and confusing.

We got Lyric, the short "pint sized" woman who tries to hide herself in frumpy clothing and sever hair styles in hopes to be taken more serious at her job. But she also happens to be the youngest daughter of the Mayor, and is hoping to broker a deal with the local MC and gain her some much needed respect.

And there is Royal the president of the MC who Lyric is trying to get to sign the agreement with. He is the epitome of a man whore and proud of it. He is sever, cocky, and a bit wild, and everything Lyric doesn't need in her life right now but desperately wants.
There's this sense of masculine satisfaction in his movements, like a wolf who's just found his mate.

Their interactions and connection was great and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. And of course I can't forget to mention that Royal has a delicious English accent too.
"Never thought I'd say this so bloody soon, but...you got it, love. I'm yours.

But the rest of it I just wished it would have been developed more. We got the former VP "missing", and then soon his wife and kids as well, an FBI agent sniffing around, the mayors office wanting a deal for a reason that was never made clear, a rival MC moving in on their runs, and Lyric is mixed up in the whole thing. There were so many questions and things that did exactly add up with all of it. And maybe that will be all cleared up with the following books since this one was left with and open ending and all. I just wished it would have been cleaned up a bit more in this one.

Anyways, it was a quick read and I enjoyed it for the most part. Enough for me to be willing to read the next book at least to have more of Lyric and Royal.

***Review for books 1-4***

TITLE: (Now known as the ALPHA WOLVES BOX SET)
AUTHOR: C.M. Stunich
RATINGS: ☆☆☆☆

This MC book/s is quite a different take to the usual MC romance books and it actually works. It doesn't bend nor bow to MC crap traditions and is quite feminist, (which I salute!) making this whole book a memorable one for me. Took me a long time to connect with the female lead in the first 3 books but when I did connect with her, I adore the shit out of her! I think, CM did a great job with her characters here. She made her readers feel the suppression, the unfairness and the fight the FMCs here fight for. Also, I truly enjoyed the last book about Glacier/Saint. He's my new psychopath book boyfriend now! 😍

I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review through Netgalley.
First off I love the names of these characters. Royal and Lyric very unique.
Royal is the youngest president for a reason. He does whatever is necessary to protect his club and makes no apologies for his actions. If he sees something he wants he goes after it. Women flock to him and he doesn't turn them away. A pretty little deputy mayor though has more spunk and fire than he usually sees in women. She isn't falling at his feet.
Lyric is trying to propel her political career by hard work and the right connections. Contrary to popular belief however she did not get her job because her father is the mayor. When he wants to make a deal with the MC he sends her to get the contract signed. Royal has an effect that she did not anticipate but she is determined to not fall into his bed.
These two have a powerful connection. An MC president and a deputy mayor however definitely doesn't sound like a smart plan.
Good thing know one is calling them smart.
This story takes several unexpected turns and the cliffhanger left me wanting more.I can't wait for the next book.

Biker"lite"

I'd pretty much rate this book biker-lite - it was a bit cleaner version of an MC - I mean they had a custom decorated clubhouse main room - and flowers and a garden outside the clubhouse. Yes, there were beatings, death, parties, car/bike chases, gun running, and thievery - but over all a fairly easy go in the MC scene.

Lyric - Female MC was fiesty and a bit conflicted. I enjoyed watching her wrestle with her two sides - prim & proper and a bit of wild child.

Royal - Male MC was Alpha and loved seeing his determined chase of Lyric.

Not sure how their relationship would flesh out in real life but hey this fantasy - so I loved seeing them come together and watching the sparks fly between them as the battled with the magnetic force that drew them to each other.

It definitely end with a lot of loose ends - hoping the author will begin to tie them up in the next book - after all this says it's a trilogy. So here's hoping!

A definite 3.5 stars in my book - for the likeablity and connection of the leads.

Another great MC book and a great start to a new series! Royal is just the kind of alpha male Lryic Rentz has been needing in her life. After years of being the good girl, doing everything perfect just like the mayor's daughter shoud, Lyric is ready to have a little fun.

Royal is the president of the Alpha Wolves MC and a one percenter. With a tons of internal problems with the club, the last thing he needs is the mayor's office breathing down his neck to sign some bs agreement to further the mayor's policitcal campaign. However, when the mayor sends down his own beautiful daughter to try and work out a deal, Roayl is more than willing to hear here out.

I loved the combative nature between Royal and Lyric. Lyric is a strong willed female who isn't going to let any man intimidate her, even if he is drop dead gorgeous. Warning: this is the first book in the series and Royal and Lyric's story isn't over just yet.

I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publishers in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

I just read this in the matter of two days! It was surprisingly wonderful. (That's good by the way!)

I haven't read many MC books by other authors accepts Scott Hildreth so I had very high expectations. And this author brought the heat, ever last raw and dirty bit of it!

I liked the plot. It was bold and refreshing as well. Royal was hilarious and Lyric (love the name by the way) was/is a strong women. That's what I love about these characters, all the characters including Lyric is strong with every situation their put in.

Now I have to say, this book had more action, sex, and sex. There was not much emotion shown through the characters/story than I wanted there. What I desired was more emotion! I didn't connect with characters as I wanted to, and that what I cherish most about characters in stories.

Oh and how Raw and Dirty it was! Erotically good! ;D

I give this first book a 4.5 star rating!

Royal isn't a poetic man, “I have actual food in my cabinets and a general knowledge of how to put it together. I have two giant arse wolf dogs who are probably scratching the ***t out of my front door in an effort to come out here and sniff your crotch.” She smiles a little at that one. “And I have a king sized bed in the back.” Her smile falters a little but she catches her lip on her teeth for a moment in thought. “Or if we don't make it back there, I have a bearskin rug in front of my fireplace.” I really liked this book I loved the characters I can't wait for more books in this series.

XXX! That's a great MC book. These are for sure my guilty little pleasure. Having a British accent running in my head while I read made it hotter!

Lyric is seriously spunky and driven and no man can ever say otherwise especially Royal.

Royal is alpha male and no man or woman is going to say differently, especially Lyric.

Together they are explosive.

This is the most honest review I can give without spilling the beans. This book was furnished by the publisher for an honest review.

I was in a huge book slump, picking up and putting down several books. Once I picked this one up, there was no putting it down! I loved this book! True to its title, it was raw and dirty. I loved the action, the heat, the banter between the two MC's, and I loved the two MC's as well. I can't wait to continue reading about Royal and Lyrik!

3.5 stars

Not really an MC book in that the MC life wasn't fleshed out and I'm not sure how happy his boys would have been with their pres' actions.

Whilst the MC was the framework of the story, it was kind of an empty shell, there weren't really any discussions within the MC that we were privy to.

I did enjoy the back and forth between Royal and Lyric, if we'd had more MC around it, I'd be a very happy girl

ARC from Publisher

I really got into this book. As the story progressed I was wondering how the some of the scenes made sense to the plot, but then, ok I'm slow today, it made sense. This one series I will been looking for in the future.
A side note I want to thank the author for using the name Janae, but I think she spelled it wrong!
