A weekday for a modest, middle-class family starts off like another routine day. Soon it becomes apparent that something is very wrong. Unwittingly the family members have departed reality and become trapped in the world of the paranormal. The key to their escape may lie in the youngest, a little girl who seems to know something that the rest of the family doesn’t.
Shorter than the traditional short story, this flash fiction of paranormal suspense was written for readers who want to begin and finish a spooky story in one sitting. Try this and other flash fiction works by E. Viona for more flash reading entertainment.

This is the first time I have ever read a flash fiction and I am in shock! I guess I should have read a little more about the book before I dove in, but I guess I saw it was on Kindle Unlimited and just went for it. I also thought it was 112 pages, so when it was over super fast I was left shocked!
Okay, now for the book. This book was crazy! I was not expecting what I was about to read, and I am still not sure how to "deal" after thinking it over a few days. Not that I wanted to super think it over, it was just that it stuck with me. And I guess in a way that is good. The author did a good job to make the story be remembered. But, it was not something that I would usually read so I was not planning to have it in my head for a bit!
I feel like this might not be a helpful thing for someone to read to get a feel for the book....but I feel like this is just the kind of book you need to read and then you will love it! I really don't want to give anything away since it was a shock to me and that made it so perfect, and I want everyone to experience it! So yeah....5 stars! Now I'm going to go read it again since it is short and maybe then I can feel more resolved on the whole crazy but short work!
I love flash fiction and this one had me. Bizarre and creepy, Sandra, a little girl tells her parents what she sees. They are caught up in adult problems, her parents brush off a haunting warning they should have heeded.
E. Viona packed this short, yet eerie story with vivid details, making it a very worthwhile read. Though it is flash fiction, the characters are relatable and it really says something about the everyday family. Great story!
I don't regularly read flash fiction but this read was great! Sandra tries to tell her parents something, but she is a little girl after all, and they do not take heed. Haunted Loop was intriguing, definitely 'short & sweet'. This read definitely leaves you with a haunting feeling even long after reading it. The author's work is superb and she does such a great job telling the story. I’d recommend to any of my friends.
