As president of the Riverdale Chapter of the Slayers MC, Dawson McCade has seen his club through some pretty rough times. Choices and sacrifices had to be made to gain the peace they now have and to keep his loved ones safe.
But, all peace comes at a cost.
And peace never lasts... at least that's what Dawson has learned.
The delicate truce between The Slayers MC and their rivals The Kingsmen MC is on shaky ground, on the verge of tipping back into war- the same war that claimed the life of Dawson's only brother, years ago, and he's determined not to see more blood shed between the two rivals.

Meanwhile, recently released from prison, serving time for his club, Stitch is now faced with the aftermath of those choices. He has allegiance to his club, swore an oath as a Slayer, but he also has responsibilities to his young family.
Can he find a way to be loyal to both?
His woman, his Ol' lady, "Baby", has had to be without him during one of the most difficult times of her life.
Can Stitch and Baby find a way back to what they once had?
She's loved him, and ONLY him, for as long as she can remember.
But, sometimes, love isn't enough.

Being pulled from all sides, Dawson must find some way to do what seems an impossible task. His club in healing, his family his growing, and he has enemies on all sides just waiting for him to make a move.
Or will they make a move first?

Either way, it's gonna be a LONG RIDE.

Guess I am just stuck at 3 1/2 again.

This one made me mad. There is no ending again and nothing is resolved, you have to wait again! It seems like the author is trying to sell more books by trying to tie in her other series to this one. I guess she wants to kill off her own characters? Confusing?

No resolution and no answers to Angel's sister. Stitch and Baby I guess are working it out.

Just not happy, but going to read the next because it had better have an ending!

What a strange book! It wasn't that I didn't enjoy it, I did but I'm still waiting for it to start. It didn't end on a cliffhanger, it ended on a mountain! What the heck! I had to re-read the end to make sure i hadn't missed something. Also I thought the story was about Stitch and Babe but they didn't feature much. The story just stopped.

Long Ride

I love the way Tara Oaks writes more than one story in a book, it's like reading about the whole in family and not just ons couple!

Third installment of The Slayers MC series by Tara Oakes. This was full of drama, surprises, and was some what predictable in areas. I did enjoy getting to see more about Baby and Stitch in this installment. I must admit that the ending threw me off and it leads you into the beginning of her newer series Badge Boys. I have started reading it and hope that it gives some light into the ending of this last book in the MC Series.

This book picks up right when the last one ends. This one was a little short of for me and not as much happens in this book as in the others books in this series. The truce the Slayers have with the Kingsmen is in danger of ending because the Slayers are now in bed with the cartel. Stitch was been released from prison at the end of the last book just in time to see Baby give birth in the hospital. Things are strained between Baby and Stitch because he was in prison the entire time she was pregnant. Dawson and Angel are pregnant now and she worries about what it will mean for the future. Angel is constantly worrying about her sister coming back for Sasha and taking her away. This book is a great set up for the next one and the ending leaves you wanting to read the next book right away. There isn’t as much action in this book but I think it is a great read. It was great reading about all the characters again and reading what new things have happened to them. I can’t wait for the next book. Another great book Tara.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.

I am a huge fan of Tar Oakes (but I don’t know her personally) and was excited to see the next installment of the Slayers MC series. The characters are awesome, I love how she keeps everyone involved. This book isn’t just Stitch and Baby’s point of view, it also includes Dawson and Molly (Angel). Let me just say that trouble is a ’brewing!! The boys better get their rain gear on. My only complaint is at one point, the timeline doesn’t follow through. Something happened “last night”, then a bit later, but still the same day, it says “two nights”. That is a huge buzz kill for me when reading, but I still love the author and her work! If you have been following the Slayers, I recommend you read this book and buy a seatbelt; the next one is going to be a bumpy ride! 4.5 stars, 3 hands down the pants.

I quite enjoyed the first two books in this series, and I will continue to read the series. That being said this one was a bit of a let down, as someone that has read the first two books this was mostly a synopsis of those two books with some extra thrown in as filler. So much of the book was explaining for readers who may not have read the first two books what happened in those books. Now I understand a little bit of refreshing or understanding for certain situations but this was just too much. I ended up skimming over a good portion of this one to get to the new scenes. The new scenes were nice and helped to round out the characters I just wish there was more new and less synopsis of the prior books.

Big cliff hanger ending followed by this statement... To be continued in a brand new extended length novel that will cross over between two series in Kingsmen vs. Slayers coming late summer 2016. This is the second installment series I have tried by this author. Think I've had enough of the cliff hangers and waiting for the next part of the story. The story and characters in this book were basically a rehash of things that happened in the first two books with a little extra action to aggravate you enough when you reach the end and are left hanging again to wait on a third installment series.

Fast paced read that ended too quickly. The characters we fell in love with in books 1+2 are back. Not as intense as the other books in the series but just as enjoyable. Things appear to be going smoothly for the Slayers, but Slayers president, Dawson, predicts that it's only on the surface, and the worst is yet to come. While he and his crew are finding peace and quiet in a pseudo domestic life, unknown trouble is brewing. And just like as quickly, the rug is pulled from under them, and the peace they established is obliterated. Ends with a cliffhanger! Hurry up book 3!

The real MC Family

Tara did a great job telling the different stories of each family and combining the all together. This book is not a wham bam and then off to the club. You really get to read the stories of relationship work in this MC.. I can't wait for the spin off to see how this cliffhanger is resolved

Very short read, well written and we revisited a lot of characters... But not a lot happened! This felt like more of a filler setting up for the next book! It seemed to end abruptly too! In saying that I found it enjoyable and am looking forward to the next in the series

I love Tara's stories and the kingsman & slayers series! It keeps you interested and wondering what's going to happen next.

All of her books would be a 5* read but NONE of them are edited very good at all!

I would have given the story 4 stars but, the recapping from the last 2 books was a bit much. Plus the last 10% was the first chapter of another book.
