This is a humorous story about a class teacher and her class. Miss Bennett loves to entertain the children, especially using her magic! Unfortunately, something does not go to plan and the children go about putting things right in the story.

I have used this book as part of guided reading with Year 3 and the children found it hilarious. There are wonderful pictures throughout the story. Children can use these pictures to help them with their understanding of the story. There are many points throughout the story that can be discussed as a group and children are able to predict what they think will happen next at various points of the story.

Children will be engaged with the story. This book is suitable for children aged 7 and above.
