Captivating and lyrical writing. Starts off romanticizing trapping and poaching, then in the last 5 chapters really hits a home run with a call for a reasoned, scientific based management of the Lochsa Forest. A call to correct mistakes of the past. A look at wholeness and what is left to learn about this special land.
