Rate this book
The 18th Century for Black America was an era of constant change. The type of changes that people of African-descent had to endure in the 1700's, include the following; a shift of institutional slavery, from contracted indentures, to a system that was a race-based entity, Slave Rebellions, the creation of the first all-Black Settlement and more. The 18th Century era included incidents such as The Boston Massacre, The American Revolution and the creation of the U.S. Constitution. Black Americans both Free and Enslaved played an intricate part of aforementioned events and this volume tells the story of how much influence that Black America had in an constantly changing environment. Both good and bad.
