Captain Marvel and Alpha Flight explore an alien ship.
description

So Captain Marvel #2 was absolutely superhero Star Trek. If anyone loves superheroes and Star Trek then this would undoubtedly be an awesome issue for them. I on the other hand grew up watching countless episodes of Star Trek because my father loved it, so I was not thrilled with this issue. There weren't any funny moments either which is a shame because the levity in Captain Marvel #1 was one of my favorite parts.

I think I'll be passing on reading any more single issues of Captain Marvel. Perhaps I'll read it again with Marvel Unlimited or my library if they carry it.

Wow, major events are packed into the last two pages! I hope they're all addressed in the next issue; can't wait!

Enough to make me want to keep reading! I like the way these characters have developed even over just two issues- a promising start!

Not as good as #1 but it gets more interesting toward the end, despite the slow start.

Really like the narrative, not so engaged by the cast of characters. Will probably give it one more.
