A comic book writer and erstwhile artist. He has won critical acclaim (including five Eisner Awards) and is one of the most successful writers working in mainstream comics. For over eight years Bendis’s books have consistently sat in the top five best sellers on the nationwide comic and graphic novel sales charts.
Though he started as a writer and artist of independent noir fiction series, he shot to stardom as a writer of Marvel Comics' superhero books, particularly Ultimate Spider-Man.
Bendis first entered the comic world with the "Jinx" line of crime comics in 1995. This line has spawned the graphic novels Goldfish, Fire, Jinx, Torso (with Marc Andreyko), and Total Sell Out. Bendis is writing the film version of Jinx for Universal Pictures with Oscar-winner Charlize Theron attached to star and produce.
Bendis’s other projects include the Harvey, Eisner, and Eagle Award-nominated Powers (with Michael Avon Oeming) originally from Image Comics, now published by Marvel's new creator-owned imprint Icon Comics, and the Hollywood tell-all Fortune and Glory from Oni Press, both of which received an "A" from Entertainment Weekly.
Bendis is one of the premiere architects of Marvel's "Ultimate" line: comics specifically created for the new generation of comic readers. He has written every issue of Ultimate Spider-Man since its best-selling launch, and has also written for Ultimate Fantastic Four and Ultimate X-Men, as well as every issue of Ultimate Marvel Team-Up, Ultimate Origin and Ultimate Six.
Brian is currently helming a renaissance for Marvel’s AVENGERS franchise by writing both New Avengers and Mighty Avengers along with the successful ‘event’ projects House Of M, Secret War, and this summer’s Secret Invasion.
He has also previously done work on Daredevil, Alias, and The Pulse.
Tony Stark has James Rhodes aka War Machine investigate Madame Masque's heist at Stark Industries and also asks him to find out what be can about the tech ninja's who were after her. Meanwhile Tony gets to know Amara better.
I'm really enjoying Bendis's run with the Invincible Iron Man so far. Tony is a lot of fun and suit and tie Victor Von Doom is a great addition. I love Dr. Doom like this and I hope he stays like this for a long long time. There wasn't anything particularly special about this issue, but the direction the story is heading is fun.
Tony Stark is a bit too dismissive. While he's suspicious, he doesn't seem to be taking Doom seriously in ANY capacity. He'd rather him just go away. Meanwhile, Rhodes makes an appearance, and takes over the story in an arc that seems it could be very interesting.
Another solid issue. I'm enjoying the pace of how Tony solves the current problems. Lots of questions and I'm trusting the answers are going to be great reveals. Love me some Rhody/ James Bond tributes.
Why is Amara colored the same skin tone as Tony here? Also homegirl can "cure" mutants but not Alzheimer's? Ok...
Love how Doom is straight up just Vincent Cassel here. Based off his Black Swan performance alone that'd be a solid casting choice if not for his [insert Remmick gesture here]

So last time I started this long journey it didn't lead anywhere so here I go again to try to finish this 154 comic series so yay, wish me luck. And let's Keep on Reading.
I have a lot of very long comic book series to read and I couldn't be giddier about the fact. This issue starts with the Story Arc of Civil War II, yes I am reading Civil War II in the single issue format. Yes, Sir 154 books to cover the grand event. And yes I read it last year and had to add the book so took a little longer to add and update it.
I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to bits, may comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.
