As a longtime doll house lover, I was eager to read this book. The book itself is short, only 24 pages, but it goes into such incredible depth about the details of Queen Mary's dolls house. It has photos of 19 different rooms, with an overall image, as well as additional photos of details of each room. The robust text describes the artifacts in each room, their significance, as well some information about the materials and construction. The opening pages feature a picture of the dollhouse, with attention to the location of each room. There is a discussion of the construction of the dolls' house and further information about Queen Mary's interest and love of the finished piece. If you love dolls' house, or are interested in knowing more about Queen Mary and her interests, I would think you would really enjoy this book.
