“𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐑”
.
One night while Busby the bear slept , a stormy wind blew away his clothes off the line!!
When Busby wakes up he finds his clothes missing and goes on an adventure to find his clothes and meets familiar Fairy tale characters, and each has one of his clothing , like his shirt covering a basket , yellow sock with a mouse who's cleaning the clock with it, and the shorts on ogres' hat!! Each one joins him to find the next piece of cloth!!
.
.
“They searched High and Low, they looked everywhere. They walked in a Circle and the in a Square”
Fee!! Fi! Fo!! Fum!!
But still couldn't find the other sock
And when they are back to the bears lair , Busby finds the other sock by his shoes😊
.
“Busby tied up his laces and smoothed down his hair, saying Thank you my friends , 𝐈'𝐌 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐀 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐑!!!”
.

📚This is a picture book with a simple rhyming story text, and bright illustrations, and a cute little bear !!
.
🐻We also did a small activity , made felt cut outs for Busby bear and hung them on the cloth line!!!🤗🤗🐻🐻🐻

A flaw I found in this book was , the shirt is mentioned as an "Underwear" which doesn't sound appropriate!!

This is one of our families favorite nighttime books! My 7 and 9 year old still love to hear this story!

A bit long, but I think it'd work in preschool story time if you did it first. Also might work to combine with a felt story (maybe have the bear and the clothing, and add the clothing as he finds it?). I really like the rhyming refrain -- it'll be good to get kids involved, and I also like having to explain the difference between "bare" and "bear", even though the words sound the same!

I loved this book because not only was it a cute story, but it was written in wonderful rhymes with words chasing each other around each page. The text is a bit longer, but the concept is pretty simple, which makes it a great read for an upper level ECE reader or lower level elementary reader. Great fun with lovely pictures!

Some of the rhymes don't flow well (or simply don't rhyme at all, like caught and out) but my boys still like me to read it to them. The illustrations are adorable. I just wish it flowed better to read out loud.

A simple fairy tale style story with lots of repetition and fun characters. I might have liked it more if I had read it out loud with a little kid.
