Tangled words is a collection of short stories which are reminiscent of the writing for the Twilight Zone which would include not only Rod Serling but luminaries of the era like Ray Bradbury and Richard Matheson. That sets a high bar, but the influences are obvious in the stories which contained the same sense of irony, subtle comedy, and contemporary sociological issues - essays on the human condition juxtaposed with paranormal subtext. I found the stories both enjoyable and in some cases provocative. A nice collection of interesting short reads which I am grateful to have found!

Loved this book! G. Alin Barnum's Tangled Worlds consists of many short stories which, I thought, reminded me of watching old episodes of The Twilight Zone. Some of the short stories were just plain scary! My imagination was definitely used while reading Tangled Worlds. Looking forward to reading more of G. Alin Barnum's work. Bought this book from G. Alin Barnum himself at the 2017 Wizard World Portland Comic Con.
