Virginia Evans and Bob Obee should not be teaching, and definitely not be publishing. They are charlatans that are abusing the ESL community with their terrible teaching material. They have no concept of the real world—in fact I doubt they have any concept of the fantasy world they live in—that deals with the English language. The selected vocabulary alone is enough to damn them to Hell for their idiocy. I have been given these books in the past to teach from, and upon reading them, I have literally burned them. A little fire, out in the quad: it was lovely.
It amazes me that people are duped by this kind of trash teaching methods.
Do not buy this book. Do not teach from this book. If you see the authors, shun them.
