Keith Kareem Williams is the author of over 20 books & 7 screenplays. He still resides in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York where he delicately balances his time between his responsibilities as a single father as well as the challenges of being a full-time author. “In interviews, one of the most difficult questions I’ve been asked is, ‘What genre are your novels?’ because honestly, I never write with any particular style in mind. I enjoy blending styles and mashing different genres together in interesting ways. Basically, I pen whatever is in my heart and soul. However, if I had to describe my style I would use musical terms and say that I write Urban, Hip-Hop, fiction with the rhythm of Reggae that crashed into Heavy Metal and then began to bleed Neo Soul. I write Alternative Urban Fiction.” One of the things I'm most proud of is how my children look at me with pride because I'm accomplishing my goals and doing the things I set out to do with my career. They recognize and respect my passion. I write constantly and I already have the titles & plots lined up for my next 92 novels. This is what I do and I'm just trying to let the rest of the world know this. My ambition is to become as legendary as some of the writers I admire. I believe that a GOOD writer pulls you into their story. A GREAT writer makes the world around you fall away as you read. The LEGENDARY writers tell stories that become a part of you and linger long after you've read the last line of the last chapter. It was once said that, the pen is mightier than the sword. I say to my fellow AUTHORS: Let's advance our craft until it's mightier than guns, grenades, bullets & nuclear bombs. If not, then put your pen down and fall back. Those of us who are serious about this will run you over as if we were riding in tanks.” – Keith Kareem Williams
The Higher Learning Curve by Keith Kareem Williams was a very good book. The cover will capture your attention since it is not like no other on the market today.
Our chapter rated this book a 4 ½ stars. The book was well edited and the cover stood out. The story flowed smoothly and kept us entertained and wanting to read more.
The story was about college sweethearts who have reached the crossroads of their relationship and was trying to determine if they wanted to take their relationship to the next level. In steps Marlon’s sexy professor who provides just enough mystery and intrigue to disrupt the couples flow and add confusion to their worlds. Things spin out of control once she starts to plant seeds of doubt into Victoria’s mind. The ending will have you on the edge of your seat wanting to know what happens next.
The story is well plotted that progresses at a steady pace. You are able to follow the characters in the story and determine if you want to like or dislike them.
We are hoping that the author doesn’t leave us hanging and will follow up on this story soon. We look forward to reading more of his work.
This was my first read by Keith Williams and let me just tell you he did not disappoint! With meaningful messages, realistic relationship woes, sensual teasing and some very vivid erotic sexcapades… “The Higher Learning Curve” was a HOT read that’ll have you wanting to reach out and touch somebody. Although the editing could use some fine tuning…I suggest you 1-Click and let Professor Anthony give you a lesson in SEXUAL FREEDOM & BEASTOLOGY.
This was a different but interesting read. It put me in the mindset of my college days. The plot twits and turns brought back a touch of nostalgia. The erotic scenes were indescribably well written. I could actually see them playing out in my head. A job well done.
I enjoyed this read. There were errors and a few unanswered questions that prompted me to give this read 3.5 stars however, I enjoyed the storyline, character development and wild roller coaster ride. I also enjoyed the various messages implemented in this story about sexuality. It was definitely a good read.
This was a pretty good read, but I felt like there were a lot of unanswered questions in the end. The situation with the professor, her husband, their grades, etc. was still something I felt was up in the air. Otherwise, it was still a good read.
I totally enjoy this story from the start. This is my first time reading this author but trust and believe me it won't be my late. I kept hearing great things by this author I'm glad I finally listened and read this story. Keith Kareem Williams has definitely made a fan outta me. Bravo sir on this sexy tale.
How long does it take to figure out if you love someone? Do you know what love entails? Those are the questions that young lovers Marlon and Vickie try to answer in this steamy tale by Keith Kareem Williams.
The synopsis reads: Marlon and Victoria are two young college students who are trying to decide what they want to do with the rest of their lives while also trying to figure out what they're doing with each other. What started out as a meaningless summertime fling has become something much more complicated and confusing to them both. Enter Priscilla Anthony, Marlon's World Arts professor, who offers the young lovers a ride to rescue them after class. The rainy evening they spend together becomes the beginning of a series of sensual entanglements that develops into something none of them expected. The interactions that follow take on a strangely sensual and erotic dynamic with resounding ripple effects throughout all of their lives.
Don't let the innocent book cover fool you. There's a lot going on that will make many readers blush. Marlon and Vickie began their relationship as a fling. When the question of “Where are we headed” is sprung all sorts of confusion is let loose and is further perpetuated by their respective itches that they're dying to scratch. Marlon has a crush on his curvy, youthful art professor Priscilla and she has her eye on him, too. Vickie has an admirer in the form of her classmate Rick. However, after being questioned by Vickie about his love for her Marlon is determined to keep her and leave Priscilla as a fantasy. Vickie, on the other hand, wants to explore her freedom as a young, independent, liberated woman. Being a seasoned liberated woman herself, Priscilla is just the one to school Vickie and Marlon on adventure in relationships.
To cut straight to the chase: I read this novel in about five hours. It held my attention so well that I hated to put it down. Here's what I enjoyed about it: Priscilla. Her character doesn't even take up a significant portion of the story, but her presence is always evident. The focus of the book is Marlon's relationship with Vickie and though their story is interesting and relatable (I've been there), I just had to know how Priscilla would fit into their situation.
It seemed like every time Marlon and Vickie decided to take a step forward, or at least attempt to properly communicate with one another, Priscilla was there. She conveniently appears at the most inopportune times, such as near the beginning when Marlon and Vickie are caught in the rain and need a ride. She has impeccable timing in regards to furthering her own agenda and she offers what could be considered good advice for Vickie if she weren't out to seep her claws into Marlon.
Even more interesting is Priscilla's relationship with her husband, Charles. Their sex life is as hot and entertaining as it could get, but past indiscretions lead to some very thought-provoking and somewhat disturbing psychological moments between the two. Priscilla's idea of revenge, sexiness and punishment are not what the average person would expect. At certain points I watched Priscilla's actions and her thought process concerning Charles and thought, “She's doing way too much.” Then, I found myself disgusted with Charles for allowing her to behave in a certain manner despite the grudges she held against him. 'Manipulative' accurately describes Priscilla as a whole.
This book kept me entertained. I enjoyed seeing Marlon and Vickie's story unfold as two young lovers who just don't know what they want to do. Ultimately, they were just young and dumb and ripe for Priscilla's picking. There was one angle to their tale that I found pretty predictable, but it was still enjoyable for me. All in all, this is another great book by Keith Kareem Williams. I rate it a 4/5 stars.
Priscilla Anthony is a professor of Art History at a college. She’s a curvy plus-sized beauty who is aware of who she is and her sexual freedom. She is married to a fellow professor and their relationship is secure. She is secure in who she is and always open to opportunities. Marlon is a student in Priscilla’s class who is always checking her out. He watches her movement and doesn’t hide how he looks at her. Marlon wants his professor but there is one thing stopping him, Vickie. They don’t have titles but Vickie is trying to define their relationship.
Professor Priscilla inserts herself into the lives of Marlon and Vickie. She opens them up to new worlds and expressing themselves. Marlon is in turmoil. Priscilla has opened up some paths for him that he wouldn’t normally take. Priscilla has Vickie thinking over her options and opportunities. What will become of these three? Will they take it too far? Will they learn that sometimes that higher learning is key?
The scenes were realistic and I could envision each scene. Williams explores the erotic side with ease and aplomb. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this 4 star body of work.

This author continues to surprise me with his work. The title was befitting of this erotic story. While there were some explicit scenes, it wasn’t cheesy and as with all of his novels there is lesson/message, it just wasn’t World Art History.
Love, Lust and Sex are dangerous if you’re not careful. In that very sensitive moment in one’s relationship, Marlon and Victoria try to determine whether they are in Lust or Love, they find themselves in an intimate tangle with Professor Priscilla. The twist and turns orchestrated by the Professor have them not only questioning themselves but also their relationship. While Priscilla’ character was more of a black widow, I couldn’t help but respect the fact that she was aware of who she was, what she wanted and not afraid to go after it.
“LOVE” is a warrior, so I recommend this title to find if it gets another TKO. I would love to catch up with these characters later to find out how they end up.
I enjoyed the drama and journey this book took me on.
What a nice surprise to read a book that is not about a drug dealer and his well shaped girlfriend. It was refreshing to read about the challenges of college sweethearts enduring the ups and downs of a somewhat relationship. They were trying to determine if they wanted a committed or uncommitted relationship. Everything was find until Marlon's professor offers them a ride home one rainy night and causes a small tremor which turns into a earthquake.
Keith did a fantastic job in writing this story with no grammatical errors and great editing. The story flowed from beginning to end and you were able to keep up with the characters. This was my first read from this author and I look forward to reading part 2 and other works by him. Hope he doesn't keep his readers waiting too long.
Keith Kareem Wiliams has managed to add some pretty interesting surprises to this erotic novel. He has layered some of what one would expect with unexpected twists in developing his characters and their actions/reactions. I really love his writing in various genre's and the hybrids he tends to write, and this story was a good, fast paced read to enjoy. The sensuality and erotic language were on point and never could be confused with B-rated smut. I'd recommend it to anyone with an appreciation for sexual content in a developed story about love and other things. Looking forward to the next in this line of erotic novels by Reem After Dark.
I've read almost all of Keith Kareem Williams books and I have enjoyed them all, including The Higher Learning Curve. This book was a page turner once I got started I didn't stop until I was finished. I've read erotica before and I think Keith Kareem Williams did a great job his first time out. The scenes were believable and HOT. The main characters included a young college couple, Marlon and Victoria who were trying to find out if their relationship was just sexual or if it was the real thing. Professor Priscilla Anthony is the major key to the young couple finding their answers. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a book that is fast paced with plenty of twist and turns.
I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. I had to slow down while I was reading because I didn't want it to end. It was easy to relate to the characters because I'm sure that a lot of us have been in situationships where we have to ask the question "What are we really doing here?". The Higher Learning Curve is a beautifully written book filled with drama, twists, and super hot sex scenes. This is the first book that I have read by this author but it will definitely not be my last. The author has a new fan to add to his list.
My 1st read from Keith Kareem Williams and I wasnt disappointed. The story kept me interested from the 1st chapter, Professor Anthony is truly something esle. I like the fact that this wasnt your typical street/drug storyline, but about 2 young adults in college trying to learn each other and deal with everyday temptations. I would recommend this book to any reader.
This was my first time reading somethings from this author and my first time reading a erotic book in quite some time. He showed me that erotic can also be classy. I thought it was going to be about the freaky nasty sex scenes no it was classy and on point. You truly did your thang on this book. You have a fan for life. Way to go Keith can't wait to read something else by you.
I really loved this book by a Keith Kareem Williams. it was totally different from anything I've read by him and I've read almost everything he has written. Looking forward to seeing if their is a sequel. I highly recommend this book
