Got this book when I was still in grade school and it's another classic from Reader's Digest. Amazing photos, strange lands, mysterious places, both natural and man-made. If I can only visit just one of the featured places, that would be a satisfying achievement indeed. Well, it's not yet late. What's the nearest to where I am? Hmmm, there it is. Angkor!

Coffe table book. Reader's Digest ALWAYS produce a good quality book. If you can't travel much, this book gives a great explaination about foreign places with full-page pictures organically embedded.

There is an updated 2008 version of this that is amazing. It is full of colorful illlustrations of 88 of the most beautiful/amazing places on the planet and a description of it. I have loved reading it and planning my dream trips for the future. Definitely worth checking out.

Povedená obrazová publikace obsahující nejen překrásné a velké fotky, ale i velmi zajímavé povídání o neuvěřitelných přírodních útvarech, monumentálních stavbách, legendárních říších typu Stonehenge, Šangri-la, Velikonoční ostrov a mnoha dalších.
