Great series for a good price. Athena has bundled her series of all five books with a link to get another book to the series for free.
Given: Really enjoyable start to the series. I liked Avery's strength, she may seem weak but her compliance is for survival. Nathaniel wants Avery very badly but he sees avenging his clan as a priority. The emotional battle leaves him running hot and cold with Avery. I loved Riley's sweet demeanor. His gentle kindness is something Avery craves.
Proven: This second book in the Dawnclaw Alphas does a nice job of giving us more about the characters. Avery gets the chance to stand on her own. She craves Nathaniel but his constant rejection has her considering Riley’s offer.
Chosen: Avery, Nathaniel, and Riley struggle with the shift in their relationship. Evil plans are revealed and Avery has to rely on her men to make it through. Nathaniel surprised me the most with his change from selfishness to putting Avery’s needs above his pride.
Possession: Great continuation of the Dawnclaw series. The first three are dedicated to Avery, Nathaniel and Riley. They continue to make appearances in this newest book. Possession is focused on new faces. I liked Elena. She's facing a complete shift in her life. Everything is now off kilter and meeting twin brothers that both draw her and make her want to run isn't helping. Logan is rude, crass and pushy. He's also intense and wants Avery no matter how she protests or tries to push him away. Caleb is sweet and kind. Offering Elena understanding and encouragement. He too longs for Elena, she's his mate and no one is going to keep her from him not even Logan. I was impressed that Caleb saw beyond his own pain to what it was that Elena needed. When the brothers stop focusing on their anger with one another and focus on Elena things turn around.
Temptation: This one is fast paced with great characters and story line. I loved Rhys. He has his faults and he struggles with his attraction to her, but the man adores Izzy. I enjoyed the changes in Izzy's attitude about shifters. She goes from fearful to woman who will fight for her man. Some super spicy moments just make it all the better.

For some reason it's come up with the complete series but I've only read the first 3 and I loved them! So much so I've just downloaded the 4th! I have to know what's happened! I love nathaniel because let's be honest who doesn't love a bad boy?!

Interesting take on the shifter genre. I like the idea of the Alpha stones and the power/myth behind them. Other than that, the stories were ok. I'm not sure I like how the first three books were really just one story broken up into three parts, and then two more books, so you were really only getting three books in this set, not five.

I chose this rating because these books were very well written and they were easy to follow leaving nothing out so as to have to guess about anything. Wish a lot of these other books were this way.

I have to stop reading series books
When I read the "complete" series book, they stories all sound the same. Then I feel I've wasted my time by reading the same story with different names. This one was no exception. I liked the story but by the third one I wanted something fresh.

I had to stop reading this after two panthers decided to have a threesome with a bear shifter.
It just got hella weird from that point :/

Enjoyed it. Loved the characters and that storyline. Look long for to the next one in the series. Need more. Write faster please.
