Grant Stevens #11

Operation Eagle Strike

Rate this book
Two scientists--missing. A project manager--dead. A top secret project in jeopardy. The CIA and FBI had investigated, interviewed, followed leads from Maryland to the Bahamas. The trail led to Cuba, and the DGI (General Intelligence Directorate), Cuba's version of the KGB. Were top secret documents now in its hands? Were copies passed to the Russians? Unknowns.

Two CIA operatives, already on assignment in Cuba, spotted the scientists at the old Presidio Modelo on Isla de la Juventud. CIA gave strict orders: Do not attempt a rescue. Continue surveillance. But then, the two men disappeared. Were they prisoners? Dead? On the run from the Cubans? More unknowns.

Grant Stevens and Joe Adler receive Team Alpha Tango's new mission: Retrieve the documents, destroy the laboratory, rescue the scientists. Finding the operatives was a whole different story.

"Expect anything, at any time, and from any direction." The adage had been preached by the men of A.T. to Eagle 8's trainees. This mission would substantiate that as fact -- and more than once.

Excellent action story.

All the questions are answered, description of this book at the beginning listed all of them. Story is very believable, non stop action. Cuban DGI, Russian version of KGB, and our brave Navy SEAL.

Operation Eagle Strike

Another exciting book about Team AT. The team is inserted into Cuba, to recover kidnapped scientists and to ascertain the whereabouts of two CIA agents. One scientist is found dead, along with one agent. The other scientist has become a traitor and is killed, following an altercation with the team. Upon the teams return home, they are targeted by the other CIA agent, for killing the traitor. Ultimately the agent is killed by the team.

Operation eagle strike

Another read of the series but different in that the enemy sources were less competent than normally presented. The AT group were on top of their game against the incompetent enemy and actually had little trouble successfully completing their mission in spite of a serious lack of information.

Great story

Grant, the A.T. and associates pulled off another SEALS attempted rescue. They failed in part of the mission and manage to save their SEAL behinds. Upon returning they are victims of an attempted ambush.
This is last available book in series. I believe number 12 is being penned.

An Action Story

This is a good action story. The first site is somewhat of a surprise. The author does a good job of drawing the reader into the action.
