Evangeline Anderson is a registered MRI tech who would rather be writing. And yes, she is nerdy enough to have a bumper sticker that says “I’d rather be writing.” Honk if you see her! She is thirty-something and lives in Florida with a husband, a son, and two cats. She had been writing erotic fiction for her own gratification for a number of years before it occurred to her to try and get paid for it. To her delight, she found that it was actually possible to get money for having a dirty mind and she has been writing paranormal and Sci-fi erotica steadily ever since.

Main characters: Kerov & Frankie (Francesca Benita Hermosa Rodriguez)
Type of Kindred bonding: Tarsia & Switch & Jump

Sci-Fi romance is one of my favorite genres. In these stories, the authors can really go wild with their imagination and introduce subjects and themes that are really out of this world and nobody will misjudge them or accuse them about these concepts.

Kerov in this story is a Switch Kindred or Jumper, i.e. He can Jump into his mate’s body.
Kerov and Frankie are true mates. They discover this rather suddenly, when Frankie wakes up in Kerov’s body. None of them is happy about it.

Slowly, they realize the mess they have got themselves into.

As a result of the Switch bond, when they are awake, Kerov is stuck in Frankie’s body in Earth and Frankie is stuck in Kerov’s body in his strange alien planet. The one who is visiting the host body is the one who controls it.

Kerov has to learn to be a human (eg. Drive a car, go to a restaurant and eat vegan food) and to be a woman (eg. Learn to use the bra, go to the waxing appointment and have Brazilian, be weak etc.)
Frankie has to learn to be alien (eg. use the toilet facilities and the strange shower, eat the alien food) and to be a male (be aggressive, be a soldier and take part to a parade etc.)

These facts produce a huge amount of misunderstandings and they basically create the funny bits of the story.

This is the last book of the Brides of the Kindred so far and definitely the funniest.

It's funny but reading this reminded me of a film starring a very young Tom Hank's that played on tv again last week and I'd forgotten just how disastrous things can be when what you see isn't exactly what you get! Kerov doesn't exactly 'grow' overnight but he does windup experiencing a very strange day when a female simply pops into his mind and takes over his body! Now Kerov lives on a planet that has tried to completely irradicate the Kindreds ability to Switch or jump as some call it so having this happen now when he might be in line for a prestigious promotion is the worst possible thing that could happen . Further more it's someone called Frankie inhabiting and piloting Kerov's body and she claims to be human and clearly knows nothing about the rules on Tarsia.
So there is Frankie finally an independent woman and it looks like her life is coming together . She's divorced her armpit of a husband , gone back to college and now she is in line for her dream job. So why has this happened to her, now? It's bad enough mentally leaping thousands of miles but about to get much more complicated when the reverse happens ! It was crazy sharing a body but when they end up in each other's bodies of boy does it get confusing. First there's the slight problem of fitting in amongst the peers of Kerov and at least Frankie had him along for the ride , well at least initially but how will Kerov cope in Frankies body pretending not just to be human but female to boot! Wow when things get Switched it certainly is an entertaining ride.
I've loved this series but continue to be amazed by all the ideas the author comes up with . This story was hysterical primarily because Kerov has been held back from his desires by the awful society he lives in. He is a male starved of affection, literally bursting to experience all manner of what he sees as kinky behaviour only to have Frankie tell him touching is fine where she comes from. Kerov isn't sure about deviant behaviour but has to admit he would love nothing more than to get his own hands on Frankies luscious assets! I cannot say too much but experiencing life as a human female has poor Kerov wincing!
Frankie has a far less amusing time back on Tarsia but it helps her see the Kindred male as more than a warlike warrior. There's a side to Kerov that intrigues Frankie but the way he lives and the attitudes of many of his fellow countrymen appal Frankie so it's vital they get help before someone discovers the Switch.
This author writes very hot stories but this felt more gentle with a pace that pulled this reader in. I loved that the couple didn't really meet initially and yet still managed to fall for each other. It's still a story that pushes the Kindred though and fans of the series will remember a certain Two who holds a grudge against the Kindred and in this book he puts his plan into action. You will never guess what he's up to! So yes it's a book that has sexy times but it also thoroughly entertained me . I'm not sure how the author does it but yet again she has given us characters to love, a steamy romance and all wrapped up in an adventure with more to come .

It’s fairly obvious that I’m a fan of this series since we’re now 17 books in and I’ll still drop whatever I’m doing to read new ones! I’m pleased to say that this book did not disappoint and in fact only improves upon the groundwork laid by previous books.

We meet a new kind of Kindred in this book. Kerov is a Switcher or Jumper from the planet of Tarsia. He switches consciousness with an earth woman called Frankie with unexpected and hilarious results. The humour in this was a welcome throwback to the early books of the series that quite often made me laugh out loud.

As with all of Anderson’s books, the richness of detail is extraordinary. Whenever she creates a new planet, the world building is second to none, from the culture to the food to the furniture in the homes…every single planet is vividly brought to life. And they’re all different, which in itself is quite staggering.

As with the other books, I love that Frankie is a diverse character. She’s Hispanic/Latina and has serious curves going on. She’s also vegetarian. All of Anderson’s characters are easy to identify with. Frankie struggles with the same doubts and self-consciousness that we do on a daily basis.

What was different about this book from the rest of the series was that the structure felt slightly different. In previous books, there felt like a clear formula for the ratio of smut scenes to plot scenes. I didn’t feel that this time. It was a lot more organic and somehow felt like an easier, faster read because of it.

I did struggle a little with the intermittent scenes with other characters because the cast of the universe is so huge now that I forget who people are. That’s more an issue of mine though and others may not have the same issue, especially if you are reading them all in a row. It’s been a couple of months since I read the rest of the series.

As always, the erotica was super, super steamy. There was one section that could possibly come with a trigger warning, but in the context of the book it was well written and explored.

All in all, I think Frankie and Kerov may be my favourite couple yet!

I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Wow, I think this is the fastest I've read a long book in a while 😂. The book didn't feel long, though, which was good.

I'm not sure if Tarsia Six, where Kerov lives, was a planet these books had mentioned before, but Society there was definitely interesting...and not in a good way. The government chooses your job and partner you'll have kids with, but not the most compatible partner with you, rather the least compatible one so you won't fall in love with them & neglect your govt job.

This book had me laughing out loud quite a few times, and the sex scenes at the end were quite spicy. I read Brides of the Kindred, #16, "Forgotten", right before this one, so I didn't want to read the same exact sex scenes. These switched up the formula a bit. (There was some butt play.)

I wish I had read book 16 sooner because now I've forgotten Two's origins as a bad guy. I know it had something to do with the book with the Dark Kindred guy, but I can't remember much more. I forgot what the Collective was too.

Frankie´s had dreams of a large man in a strange uniform, when she suddenly finds herself taking his place in an even stranger world. Is it still a dream or something other?
Kerov lives his life as a lesser wanted man, with his Kindred genetics he´s not as desired as they others. Resigned to deal with this destiny he´s suprised to find someone else in charge of his body, and himself just a passenger. Until they switch and he´s in Frankie´s body trying to navigate her life on Earth. Can they make the switch back, and without messing up each others lives too much?
Messy is just the start of this switch. At the same time Two is planning his revenge against the Kindred. Will he succeed this time?
PNR Romance, action, suspense and smutty fluff in a great combo. Can´t wait for Terex story though (he´s in serious need of his own HEA <3 )

3.5/5; 4 stars; B+

So, I don't know if it was just my mood but this book really cracked me up. I kind of gave up on this series after book 3 but came across this one and thought I'd check it out. It was really funny when the male and female main characters kept getting stuck in each others bodies and, given that were from two completely different cultures in two different galaxies, many laughs ensued.

Once they finally got together in the same place there were shades of the weird, guilt laden sexual dysfunction that I have seen before with this author, but it wasn't as bad as in the earlier books. The sex seemed a bit contrived but the overall humour of the story made it worth it for me.

Switched is book 17 in evangeline Anderson's phenomenal Brides of The Kindred series. This is one of my absolute favorite series and I would highly recommend reading the books in order as many of the storylines build upon each other, this particular book is set up that it could be read alone but why deprive yourself of the full world of the Kindred experience.

Evangeline Anderson has once again proven her genius by creating yet another type of kindred on a whole different world. She continues to creatively weave the characters and storylines from the first 16 books into the new ones and to advance all their stories while concentrating on the books latest main characters. The worlds and characters, creatures, foods, etc. we experience with the Kindred are mesmerizing and fantastical right down to their main base of the mother ship.

This is Frankie and Kerov's story.
Despite the recent divorce Frankie has recently gone thru (to her families horror) Frankie considers herself to be a good catholic girl ).She's a beautiful curvy ( although she's not in love with what she feels is her ample booty) Latino woman trying desperately to move forward with her life, trying to finish university, get a real job rather than her present one at Victoria's Secret, and even become a yoga instructor to bring In extra money. Many Kindred couples meet at first through dream sharing, Frankie's first experiences go way beyond dream sharing all the way to mind and body sharing.

Commander Kerov Voix lives on Tarsia Six. Years ago the Kindred shared DNA with the Tarsian people who now look down upon those who are not purebred and carry Kindred genes. The Kindred on Tarsia had a special ability to be able to Switch bodies with others (esp. Their mates) but fearing this the Tarsians have worked to theoretically genetically eliminate this trait over the generations.

The Tarsians are a tough military society. The state pretty much runs everything from your career to who is to have mandatory sexually relations with whom. Emotional attachment including affection is highly discouraged and even punished in this world. Somehow Kerov has managed to rise to a very high position as a military officer and is about to be promoted once again. Being raised In this environment He has basically had to turn his back on his Kindred heritage (his parents are fully Kindred). Imagine his total shock when he discovers he is able to not only Switch but basically has little control when this happens.

Even more shocking is Frankie falling asleep and finding she is actually inhabiting Kerov's mind and body this is no dream. On top of that Kerov is able to speak to her in her/his mind. She has no choice but to try and continue to be Kerov with his internal voice to guide her along. On the flip, side Kerov wakes to find himself in Frankie's body and there are times as well when she is able to mind speak with him as well. The predicaments this situation has them in goes from quite serious to some of the funniest scenes I've read in the series. I was actually giggling aloud a good deal throughout the book , (Kerov getting a Brazilian wax and going out on a date as Frankie had me rolling on the floor).

As Kerov and Frankie experience each other's lives not only do they get to know each other on the most intimate of levels but find they are also developing a special chemistry, unexpected and even a fierce protectiveness towards one another.

As always there are valuable lessons to be learned, ones of acceptance of who you are and pride of your own culture. Finding yourself by actually living thru another is a pretty unique way of learning to love yourself as well as opening up your mind and heart to another.

The chemistry between the characters builds gradually and the authors immense talent of writing sensual and erotic romance is a special part of this book as well. Experiencing sexual feelings while inhabiting the body of the opposite sex takes a very skilled author.

As the Kindred overall story continues there is much excitement, danger and suspense, (the evil Two is even more determined to destroy the Kindred), great interactions and involvement by characters from previous books and lots of sizzling sexy scenes. Book 17 in particular has a major amount of humor and fun that has you smiling the whole time.
Once again you'll find yourself anxiously awaiting for Book 18 hoping that it won't be too long a wait.

I received this for a honest review. Once again Evangeline has shown what an imagination she has. My mind actually went wild while reading this book. All I could think about is the first thing I would do if I was to wake up in a man’s body. I could quickly think of three things I would do and Frankie has done them all ready.

Frankie is a good catholic girl. Though her family might not think so. They do not like the fact that she is divorced and work hard to get her back with her ex. Frankie since she was divorced now had to sign up for the Kindred Bride draft. Her family would die if she ended up with a Kindred. Frankie is already dreaming of a sexy Kindred man. What she did not realize is what her future held.

I actually felt sorry for Commander Kerov Volx. He was a Kindred who lives on Tarsia Six. Their rules are so strict on this plant that he could easy find himself killed if not careful. His kind was know at one time to be able to switch bodies with their mates. This is forbidden on this planet along with other things that are in the Kindred DNA.

Kerov was stuck with a mandatory sexual visit with his assigned female Xirnah. I hated Xirnah she was cold in more ways than one. A relationship between a man and woman should be something special. It was not on this planet. Kerov and Xirnah hated being with each other.

I got a good laugh at when Kerov was in Frankie’s body. Him having to do yoga moves and going to get a wax. Yip he is finding it very challenging. Let’s hope he does not mess things up to badly for Frankie. Reading about what these two went through not only were they in a stranger’s body but on a strange planet they knew nothing about had to be truly hard and very challenging.

This two need help. They can not seem to control the switching. I found it very interesting when they were in the same body at the same time. There seems to be some miss understanding going on between these two. Frankie can not help but look at Xirnah and see how she how beautiful and thin she was and think that is what Kerov prefers. Kerov keeps thinking of what Frankie’s best friend told him and thinks Frankie hates Kindred.

These two get a chance to know what it is like to walk in the other ones shoes. this gives them a new appreciation of what that person goes through. I hop there is a revisit of these two in a later book. I bet the bound between these two will be amazing.

Evangeline Anderson is a genius, what more does anyone need to know?

Switched is the 17th book in the Kindred Bride Series by talented author, Evangeline Anderson. This series is well worth the read from the first book to the latest instalment. Switched is a very easy read and contains such a well written storyline that even if this is the first book you have read you won't get lost. The sexual content is hot and steamy, but not over the top to take away from the storyline.

Some characters are easier to fall in love with than others, and that’s what happened for me with Kerov and Frankie. They are adorable, feisty, endearing and the list goes on. I love the chemistry between them and how the whole storyline unfolds.

Kerov is our sexy Kindred living on Tarsian with their rules in society. The rules are the opposite of how a Kindred should live, but not knowing any different Kerov is forced to live half a live and go against every instinct he has. The Tarsian society do not believe in emotion and put their security at very top to everything else. They control the relationships to such a point they assign someone to be your partner and hold beliefs that all intimacy is for deviants only.

Frankie is a hot blooded Latin woman who is pestered constantly by her family to get back with her ex who is cold hearted and only thinks of himself. She truly comes a live in this story as the lives of herself and Kerov are literally switched around. They endure the most un-hostible situations but manage to flourish all the way through.

We also see many of our old favourites, like Kate and Rone, Sylvan, Sophia and Kate and not to mention some old foes in the form of Two. Terex is part of this story, and I have a feeling its just the beginning of what we are to see from him. We also meet a couple new people, Jorn and Elaina who I truly hope they both each get their own story.

Do yourself a favour, grab this book today and sit down to an afternoon of leisurely reading.

DELICIOUSLY CUTE, OUTRAGEOUSLY FUNNY, COMPLETELY CAPTIVATING AND DELIGHTFULLY ENTERTAINING !!!
Title: Switched
Series: Brides of the Kindred
Author: Evangeline Anderson
Designation: Book Seventeen of Series, Full length Standalone Novel, NO Cliffhanger
My Rating: FIVE DELIGHTFULLY ENTERTAINING STARS*****
Madre de Dios! I loved, loved, loved this story! I'm totally smitten with Switched, Book Seventeen of the Brides of the Kindred Series by Evangeline Anderson! This is my first time reading anything written by Anderson but it certainly won't be my last! I love romance, adore science fiction and totally infatuated with comedy but you combine the three and I'm completely and hopelessly head over heels in love, and this book had them all, in spades! Evangeline Anderson, where have you been my whole life?!? Fortunately, I found Anderson after seeing a recommendation by one of my favorite romantic Sci-fi authors on Facebook so thank you Mina Carter for giving me a heads-up. Switched is an imaginative, well crafted full length sci-fi romance filled to the brim with danger, drama, action, adventure, suspense, humor, angst, passion and romance. It's the seventeenth release in the Brides of the Kindred Series but can be read as a complete standalone. As I stated, this is my first time reading Anderson's work, but I had no trouble at all understanding the storyline, following the backstory and enjoying this book. As a matter of fact, I now intend to go back and read them all. The narrative is beautifully written in the third person with multiple points of view but primarily from the perspective of our two protagonists, handsome alien Commander Krov Volx from the planet Tarsia, and beautiful Latino Tampa, Florida resident Francesca Benita Hermosa Rodriguez affectionately known as Frankie to her friends. The dialogue is intelligent, sassy, inventive, well executed and flows effortlessly. It was the premise for this story that originally fascinated me and drew me in but it's the characters that completely captured my heart. They are captivating, intriguing, realistic, engaging, sexy and quite often, laugh out loud funny. Anderson is obviously a gifted storyteller as well as a creative writer and her talents shine brightly in Switched. I've found a new favorite author and I'm a fan for life. I can't even recall the last time I've laughed so much while reading a book. I loved Switched so much, I raced back to Amazon and picked up Claimed, the first book in the Brides of the Kindred Series. What did I like about this book? Everything! Would I recommend it? You bet and I am but only for adult readers since it does contain some steamy dreamy sex scenes. Will I read this author again? Duh...is that a trick question? Absolutely! As I said, I've already one clicked the first book in this series.

Beautiful, curvaceous Francesca Benita Hermosa Rodriguez doesn't mind going to school and working hard to fulfil her dream but what she does mind is the constant interference from her very large Catholic family who all seem determined to reunite her with her ex-husband Carlos. Sadly, that would be a fate worse than death in Frankie's eyes and she has no intention of letting it happen. It's obviously driving her nuts because she's started having some really weird dreams about a mysterious albeit drop dead gorgeous man who doesn't look quite normal. What the heck? It's only when she awakens as a prisoner in someone else's body does she realize that he's the man of her dreams, literally and he's not human! And he's not only an alien, he's a huge handsome and very hot Kindred warrior living on the alien planet Tarsia, millions of light years from Earth. What the heck! Frankie finds herself immediately attracted to the handsome Kindred warrior but she's the opposite of the fair-skinned svelte ideal Tarsian female. She's got curves and a lot of junk in her trunk. He'd never be interested in a girl like her, right? Hmm.... He just might! So what's a girl to do? What any independent, enterprising, feisty young woman would do - make the best of a bad situation and go with the flow, of course! Even if that means having sex with a beautiful but totally boney alien woman! Oh my!

Kindred Kerov Volx has worked long and hard to move up the ranks to gain his current position as Commander in the Tarsian forces and this fiasco could totally end his career. He had no idea that Switching was even still possible much less how to handle this current situation with the young woman currently inhabiting his body. Apparently, he and this strange female currently have an incomplete switch where she is in his body but he is not inhabiting hers; his consciousness has remained which may turn out to be a good thing because not only is his career on the line, it's his entire life at risk. Oh my! It seems that the Kindred have the unique ability to Switch or Jump into the body of another and happens primarily when they find their fated mates. Huh? How can that be? They don't know each other, have never even met, so how can they possibly be fated mates? This is bad, very bad, especially since the practice of Switching is strictly forbidden on Tarsia. Not only is it forbidden, but any enjoyment of sex at all is banned, deemed as deviant and taboo. It's against the law. All mating and intercourse is strictly regulated and mandated by the government. What?!? The Tarsians have been trying to eliminate the Switching gene from the hot blooded Kindred race inhabiting their planet for generations and thought they had succeeded but Kerov is full blooded Kindred and to make matters worse, he's scheduled for his mandated sexual encounter with his appointed sex partner and tomorrow, his battalion is scheduled to lead the parade with a big banquet celebration afterward which could possibly mean a promotion depending on the outcome of his performance! Oh no! This couldn't get any worse! Never say never because it just did! Not only is Frankie stuck in Kerov's body, he's now stuck in Frankie's body on earth and can't even help her! And what a beautiful body it is! He's never seen a woman with such gorgeous lush curves! Oh my! But poor clueless Kerov should be more worried about who is going to help him because Frankie is scheduled for a job interview, a bikini wax and a hot date with her favorite professor. Oh no! Oh yes! Let the Switch begin! Handsome alien Kindred warrior-check! Beautiful human female-check! A Switch gone wrong or possibly gone right-oh my! Danger, drama, action adventure, a returning villain with malevolent plans and a prophecy that no one seems to understand-check! Loads of humor, a little heartbreaking angst, heated attraction, fiery passion and some steamy, dreamy romance-you bet! That and a whole lot more! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

Kindred Kerov Volx, Battalion Commander lives on Tarsia Six. A planet where Kindred are considered second class citizens because of their ability to switch bodies with their true mates, something that is completely forbidden and looked down on. Tarsia Six residents believe that if they control who Kindred and Tarsians males have sexual encounters with they can eliminate or contain switching between the Kindred species. Kerov has been with Xirnah a Tarsian for 3 years and they both feel the same way about each other; they’d rather not be together but they must do what was commanded of them. There should be no romantic feelings between the members that resides on Tarsia Six planet.

Francesca “Frankie” Benita Hermosa Rodriguez wants nothing more than to be rid of her ex-husband Carlos. Her parents are true religions and believe that it is only right for Frankie to fix her marriage and get back with Carlos whom Frankie refuses and get the support she needs from her best friend Lacy. Frankie is just trying to move on with her life, get the degree she needs and make her family understand she and Carlos are through.

The last thing Frankie and Kerov expect is the wake up in a different body in a world they know nothing about and everything and everyone is strange. They must figure out how to get back to their own planet without destroying each other’s life and career in the process. Is it even possible when they can barely make it through the day?

Two is still on his mission to take over/destroy the Kindred and will do whatever is necessary. I was surprised at who his latest victim was and honestly didn’t see that one coming.

This is definitely one of my favorite paranormal series. I laughed a lot and enjoyed reading the inner monologue between Frankie and Kerov, it was great seeing Kerov doing “womanly” things and Frankie doing “manly” things; it was totally different from the other books I’ve read in this series. Not only was this book funny but if you’ve read any other books in this series you know when it comes to sex scenes this author holds nothing back and this book is no different. The sex scenes were HOT!!! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. This book ends with a cliffhanger so I’m excited to see how Frankie’s family will handle everything once they find out the truth. I’m excited to see if Lacy will become part of the group and I’m also excited to see if anything will happen between Elaina and Terex. I don’t think I will ever get enough of the characters within this series and I will keep reading it as long as this author keeps writing.

Wow, wow, wow!

This has to be quite the climax in many ways!

When we are first introduced to Frankie and Kerov, we are also introduced to a brand new type of kindred; the Switched Kindred.

Frankie is an latino human female, and Kerov is a Switch Kindred. Both could not possibly come from two very different worlds.

Kerov, lives on Tarsia, a plant with strict controls on who you mate with, how you interact with one another, and most of its population hate the Kindred. For most of his life Kerov has had to prove he is equal in talent to his fellow Tarsians. He is good at his job and is probably better than most. But because Kerov is Kindred, he is rejected, looked upon with scorn, and made a fool of. But no longer.

Frankie has a large Spanish family who are devoutly Catholic. So when she file for divorce from her husband Carlos, they expect her to do the right thing: go back to her husband and do her wifely duties. Carlos never appreciated Frankie, he was always devoted to himself. Frankie decided after 5 years of marriage she would finally divorce him and starting doing things for herself.

Switching between bodies is probably one of the most fascinating abilities so far for the Kindred Species. I actually quite enjoyed reading this story, and hope that we get to see more of Frankie and Kerov in future stories. It is fascinating and intriguing because we get to see how each of them see being in the opposite sex. Humorous actions, and words spoken make this story quite enjoyable. Having both of them experience each other's cultures is also very intriguing! Laughable and cringe worthy in Some places, but in such good ways!

I also found this book to be quite climatic: we see may turning points in this story:
* Two, the Kindred's worst Villian, has finally been extinguished
* Commander Sylvan has just experienced physical and mental trauma
* Commander Terex is now out to be avenged after what Two did to him
* We now have another species of Kindred to be excited about
* Kate's abilities The Knowing is changing
* We may be looking at a new Villian popping up in the next book or two

Again, cannot wait for the next installment of this series!

Another fantastic Kindred Bride book by Evangeline Anderson. Book 17: Switched is an hilarious addition to the other wonderful books in this series. I loved watching the two of them try to act like the other in order to keep a low profile, but having never been around one another, or even on the planets they find themselves on, it's fun to see how they react to things they are not use to.

Kerov and Frankie meet in the most unlikely manor. They switch bodies. Other than a few dreams that Frankie has had, they've never met until Frankie takes over Kerov's body. Kerov's is a switch kindred that are being bred out of the race on his home planet. He has been taught that kindred are scum and treated as such. Frankie does her best to keep his life going the way he wants it as much as she can, but with some hilarious mishaps, and one very sneaky boss things don't go the way he wants. Kerov's doing his best to be Frankie while he is in her body as well, but is having a lot of problems himself. With a professor thinking he could take advantage of a drunken Frankie (Kerov), to an ex-husband and family members that won't take no for an answer, he's messed up her life as well. They finally meet face to face for the first on the mother ship when they go to seek help in getting switched back to their own bodies. The whole time not knowing how the other truly feels about them. With the evil Two aboard ship causing havoc and trying to take over the kindred race, they figure out what we already knew, they love each other, but are still to scared to admit it.

I'm looking forward to see how the next book unfolds, the introduction of Elaina into the series was a slide that I didn't expect, but you can tell there is some chemistry between her and Commander Terex from the time they see each other. Also hoping to see how Lacy reacts to Frankie being bonded to Kerov and see if she will eventually become a bride herself.

This book has me in the kindred spirit again, it was a fun read even if the author was kind of stereo typical in her ideas of Hispanic people. I think she might have been better served by breaking open some bottles of wine and inviting over her WOC friends and going from there.
The evil deed in this story made me feel like the author watched Dr. Who and then wrote this plot out.
I found it kind of stupid, I would have gone for what Kate said in one of her predictions and I am sorry Y won't get his HEA, how he came into the world wasn't his fault and he was a good guy.

I’ve read every one of Ms. Anderson’s Kindred series and thoroughly enjoyed each one. Yes, the plots, along with most of the sex scenes, are rather repetitious, but there are also definite differences between each book, with new characters being introduced, new situations to be dealt with, and many other unexpected twists in each story. There’s usually a whole new planet with its own unique culture in each book. Sometimes it’s a good place, but often not.
I especially like the idea that the Kindred males consider larger-sized women to be far more desirable than skinny women, which goes completely against the usual stereotype of female beauty. I also like the idea that the human females are not just helpless damsels in distress, but are heroic women who often have to rescue their males.
New types of Kindred males appear now and then, so one never knows what’s going to show up next.
Bear in mind that I’m a gay guy, so I’m not often this fascinated by M/F erotica, but I’ll make an exception for this series. As for the Kindred males themselves, despite their various hang-ups, they’re so handsome and honorable that I most certainly wouldn’t throw them out of my bed. (Assuming I could get one of them there in the first place, that is. Aren’t any of these gorgeous fellows gay, or at least bi?)
BTW, the most interesting book, IMO, is “Switched”, where the minds of a Kindred and a human woman find themselves inhabiting each other’s body.

I have read every book in the Brides of the Kindred books and this one of my favorites. Our H is Kerov, a Switcher Kindred planet of Tarsia. Our h is Frankie, a latin/hispanic independent woman with curves.

Kerov, our Switch Kindred, lives in Tarsia a place where security is the most important, emotions are not allowed and sexual relations are mandated by others. He is looked down on by others even though he has risen through the ranks because his Kindred genes are dominant. Frankie is an indepented woman going to school and working at a job she hates. She is divorced from her high school sweetheart but her family is pressuring her to get back together with him. The fun starts with Frankie wakes up in Kerov's body and Kerov wakes up in Frankie's.

I've always loved all the Brides of Kindred books but this one easily gave me the most laughs. The waxing part... I was dying. There was still some drama from Two and we got to catch up with some of the past Kindred and their Brides. We of course got the lead up to the next book and as always, I can't wait to see where the author is going to go with the story.

So who loved Switch? ME. The b0ook was good I was really feeling Kerov, I liked how unassuming and awesome he was. Frankie was a breath of fresh air although the only thing that really made me mad about her was she assumed to much when it came to Kerov, his life and just Kindred in general and for her to be a minority I wasn't feeling that. I knew they would be quite a match as far as personalities went and I was glad Frankie got it together and stopped denying herself. I also thought she was being a little extra because he tied her legs with a belt and licked her into pleasure,it wasn't that deep and she was complaining. After all the years of bad sex and not getting what you wanted she should have said something before and while he was doing it to let him know hey I like this but, then tell him what she wanted. Come on lady your a grown women COMMUNICATION. The book was funny, I was cracking up and it was really good. I'm hoping once we get back in the swing of Kindred Males we can keep the humor along among other things. I would love a chick that isn't afraid of sex, her Kindred male and goes for what she she wants. Can we get one of those please?

When I read what this book would be about, I was concerned. It didn't sound like it was going to be one of the better Kindred books, and sadly I was right.

I think that a large part of the problem is that Kerov and Frankie aren't even on the same planet for the majority of the book. Even though they are sometimes inhabiting the same body and can communicate, it just isn't the same as a couple actually being together.

It was occasionally interesting watching Kerov screw up Frankie's life. His mistakes came from a general lack of knowledge. It was exceptionally annoying watching Frankie screw up Kerov's life. Seriously, I found it difficult to like Frankie when she was so overwhelmingly stupid. Once she knew what was happening, she made little effort to behave as expected when controlling Kerov's body.

This book was not a great idea and I'd much prefer that we returned to the regular Kindred now.

I really love the Brides of Kindred series as a whole, but this is one of my favorites! All through the series there is always a lot of angst and the Kindred and his bride are always going through big trials and dealing with a lot of obstacles. This book kind of lightened it up a bit for me which was great. Of course they still had some issues toward the end to deal with, but it wouldn't have been complete without it. I really enjoyed the funny aspect to the story too. How would you deal if suddenly you woke up in another persons body in a new species and a new planet completely opposite from your own? The way they had to deal with completely new things was so funny (although they didn't think so) I will continue to have a this series on insta-buy and look forward to reading the future Brides of Kindred books!

I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review.

This is such a creative and awesome read! I love and adore all of the Kindred Brides, this one is especially funny in many aspects, Kerov is a Switch Kindred, meaning he will switch bodies with his chosen mate, only he forms a incomplete switch with Frankie. Now Frankie en Kerov must live each others lives without causing too much damage! I especially loved the wax scene.... poor Kerov

The story is one of sexual discovery... Come on we've all wondered about what sex must feel like for guys? This story and character explore that question in wonderful detail. A must read!

Hysterical

I didn't expect to sit in my living room, all by myself, on a Sunday afternoon laughing my way, halfway, through this book. I could not stop reading or laughing. Having read all of the books in this series, I expected the same predictable format, which made the last couple of books a little harder to get into. This one, she set up the characters, which we had not been previously introduced to, then, made the Switch, and your off and laughing. You will absolutely love Kerov and Frankie.

So how would you like for your significant other to feel the pain that it takes to be beautiful? A Brazilian wax sound nice?! Well... because of the creative genius the is Evangeline Anderson, we finally get to see what it would be like from the males point of view! And boy is it funny!
This is the 17th book in this series and they just keep getting better and more creative. Frankie and Kerov are an unlikely match that just work. Their lives are turned upside down and sideways and they still manage to work together to save their world.
A must read!

Love this Author and this book. It wasn't what I was expecting, it was much better. I thought this was an excellent book, loved the characters and story line. This book had me in hysterical laughter, out loud couldn't hold it in, down right belly laughing, during quite a few of the scenes. It felt so good to laugh like that (life's been stressful lately) I needed some good laughter. Of course as with most of Evangeline Anderson's books it was very sexy. I gave it an easy 5 stars and recommend her books, I personally have not been disappointed yet.

OMG, i thought maybe with time i would find those books more "boring" if i can say but no. I was hooked from the beginning, and couldn't put it down easily.
I laugh a lot ( when Kerov had a bresilian, or with he puck the "old clothes) and cried as well (but i won't tell you).

Now i'm waiting for the next book (Terex's book) and also the new serie AMI we have a short excerpt at the end of this.
