Kira Temple has had enough first dates. The curvy girl is ready to settle down and she’s signing up with Lovely and Kind Brides for some help. The mail-order bride agency helps shifter men find love and Kira hopes they can find her one of her own.
Mountain lion shifter Cade Lincoln is worried. He’s just gotten a match with LK Brides. The woman is gorgeous and seems perfect for him. Except the last women Cade brought home took one look around his hometown before running away. What if his new match does the same?
Cade has to find a way to make Kira see the beauty in Maple Creek. Follow Cade and Kira as they try to find their own Valentine’s Day surprise in the first Holiday Mail-Order Mates book. This is a standalone story with a HEA!
This was a short quick read that I liked. Kira Temple is looking for love so she signs up for Lovely and Kind Brides. Mountain lion shifter Cade Lincoln has been matched by LK Brides he likes what he sees when he meets Kira he is worried that she may not want to stay in the town. This was a good read that I wanted more out of. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. This was my first time reading this author andI am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Ugh. LAME! I couldn't even call it a cutesy story... I was waiting for the characters to evolve, for me to like them and it just never happened. It felt like I read a rush job, instead of a romantic/sexy story.
This book could have been any number of other shifter books. Nothing about it stands out. Nothing surprising. It was just as expected. And just as predictable.
The Mountain Lion’s Valentine is a short, sexy story that I enjoyed. Kira and Cade are a likable couple, yet in some scenes his mom steals his thunder – which I quite enjoyed.
Tired of the dating scene, each enrolls with a shifter friendly online mate finding site. Cade knows pretty quickly that Kira is his one but intends to do his courting of this lovely lady hoping that she will fall in love with his tiny home town as well.
We meet several of Cade’s friends, who I suspect will have their tales told soon enough. Interesting, funny secondary characters make this one peak my curiosity as to what comes next. I enjoyed my time in this story and would recommend it for a fast read to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader.
I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
Terrific story about lion shifter meeting his mate
Cade is a lion shifter who had tried dating site called LK Mail Order Brides for shifters.
Kira has been on many dates, some of them blind dates. We all know the blind dates are like. When she first met Cade, he told her she was his mate. Will they fall in love?
The characters are from a small town that is relatable, not really so unique, and funny. The plot is fast-paced reading that I finished quickly.
This book is a holiday read and enjoyable story. I really enjoy holiday reads because it gives me a good feeling about the holidays. I recommend this book. I am going reading this holiday series.
The Mountain Lion’s Valentine is a very sweet shifter love story, involving a lonely male shifter looking to settle down. He try’s an on line match making app that finds brides for shifters. He was burned once, and he fears that same thing happening again. His Mom is pressuring him for grandchildren all the time, and he longs for a mate. He agrees to try one last time, check it out to see what his next match is like, a mate or not? Although there is sex in the book it’s not over done. No violence or gratuitous language. Sweet read.
Really enjoyed this story of the lion who wanted his mate. After joining a mate matching group and a year later he gets matched for the second time but she is a much better match. His mother is overjoyed and rushes to tell her fire while he is trying to tell her they have only been on one date. There is a lot of fun in this story all the way to the proposal.
This book is a quick read, perfect for a lunch hour or bedtime. Cade and Kira meet through Lovely and Kind Mail Order Brides. Having been disappointed by online dates before, they are cautious about trying again. This sweet story had me routing for them.
This was a quick, sweet read. It felt a little scattered and jumpy in parts, but it was still an enjoyable read. Lots of fun characters to follow in future books.
Cade and Kira are mates getting to know each other. This is a standalone story with a HEA! The setting is a small town where the two lovebirds get to know each other and slowly fall in love 💘.
I enjoyed this book it was a great read. My only problem is that it was in my opinion to short, it would have been better if the story line had continued a bit further.
I really enjoyed reading this story. What a fabulous intro for a new to me author. A quick, well written shifter romance that just flowed. A sweet ending, that was perfect for this story, will have me looking for the next book in this series.
A cute sugary sweet romance, if your a fan of shifters working hard to snag their mate then this series is for you. Short stories to pass the time and hit you in the jellies.
Short, rushed, had to get invested into. Seems like it would be a good story. But it’s just sort of a outline of things happening in their lives. I also hated that we miss the meet the Mom scene. The author tries to give a happy ending but that even falls flat.
This was a really good, quick to read shifter romance. It definitely has the potential to be a full length novel. Don't let that deter you from reading this shorter story. It's packed full of action and details.
Sweet shifter read for Valentine's Day. Cade is tired of dating and wants to settle down, Kira is tired of bad dates and wants to find her husband. Can LK Brides come thru for them?
Absolutely loved this book and would highly recommend it to all readers who love great romantic shifter tales. This book is filled with great characters introducing the shifters of Maple Creek featuring Cade and Kira.
This book was so sweet and fun to read. The romance of Cade and Kira will warm your heart. Just so you know, there's a little bit of heat in there, too.
