BOOK 3: THINGS LIARS FAKE
What if… Someone you barely knew asked you for a favor.
What if… They needed you to be something you weren’t, in exchange for nothing. Unless you count a mouth full of lies and a half-broken heart. Faker. Pretender. Liar. There are worse things to be called.
So would you do it? Would you? Daphne Winthrop did. And you’re about to find out what happens in the end.
***This novella series is intended for a mature audience, 17+ due to sexual content and foul language.***
Sara Ney is the USA Today Bestselling Author of the How to Date a Douchebag series, and is best known for her sexy, laugh-out-loud New Adult romances. Among her favorite vices, she includes: iced latte's, historical architecture and well-placed sarcasm. She lives colorfully, collects vintage books, art, loves flea markets, and fancies herself British.
I LOVE this series. I love it so much that after reading all three novellas separately, I bought this whole collection in a paperback. This is fun, light, sexy and sweet! This whole collection is fantastic! It's a top favorite of mine and I really look forward to seeing what this author writes next!
Book 1: Meh. A little rough, some sweet, some funny. Interesting pairing. Skippable. Also, almost feels like the set-up and premise of the far better executed The Learning Hours 2-3 stars (Some uber-masculinity in this one that I wasn't sure was well done enough?) Book 2: Completely skippable. Eye rolls. Annoying. 1.5 star, mostly because of the book w/in the book format and the book w/in the book was pretty unreadable. Romance also short cut Book 3: The best of the three. Still a quickie, but felt so sweet and odd and genuine. Two sweet sci fi geeks, one whose beauty is obvious & the other whose beauty is a little less so (his!). Awkwardly cute. 3 stars
If you were going to read any of them, I'd go for #3 Things Liars Fake...but honestly, I'd probably just go with the How to Date a Douchebag series.
I read two of the three novella - Things Liars Say and Things Liars Hide. I liked how these novellas are interconnected with each other and you can see how the different characters progress throughout the stories.
I picked them up because I absolutely LOVE Sara Ney's Douchebag series. Unfortunately after reading two of the three novellas, I found that these were not working for me as her other series did. I am a mood reader and maybe it is just my mood but these fell a little flat for me :(
While they were cute concepts, I couldn't really get into the characters or the stories and ended up skimming which I HATE because again I love this author and love her other series. Maybe I was just expecting and hoping for more.
I do plan on continuing to read this author so maybe it was just me and not these particular books...
This new novella series- Three Little Lies from Sara Ney are quick, fun reads!
In Things Liars Say Greyson Keller is in charge of organizing the Philanthropy Gala her sorority is throwing. She’s been under so much stress from the event, classes, work that she is stressed to the max. Her sorority sisters keep trying to find out who her date will be. She hasn’t been with anyone in two years and she’s tired of being bugged by them.
Rachel turns to me with raised eyebrows. “Speaking of dates…Inquiring minds want to know: who is Greyson Keller bringing to the Philanthropy Gala this year?”
So…she makes up a name-Cal Thompson. (the way she came up with his name is kind of clever!)
Cal Thompson. I roll the name around in my mind, deciding that I like it. Sounds believable. Legit.
A few of her friends tweet Greyson’s fictitious boyfriends name and it quickly finds its way to a guy whose name really is Cal Thompson. He thinks Greyson is a guy and he tracks “him” down to kick his ass.
“That is so messed up.” “Sucks to be you, man.”
I’m not sure who is more surprised-Greyson or Cal when they find out the truth.
“But on the bright side, it was only an hour drive, and you gave your friends something to talk about, probably for years. Ugh. Years.” A few years at least.
Thus, starts lots of texting and emails between them. Cal is a gorgeous, tatted captain of his rugby team. Has never had a serious relationship, nor has he wanted one. But Greyson is beautiful, smart, and classy. What’s not to love?
I’ve never been serious about anyone before. Ever. Not even close. But I am now-and whatever she wants I’m going to give her: Commitment.
This first installment was a great read-the second one will feature Tabitha who is Cal’s sister and Collin who is Greyson’s brother.
Things Liars Hide 4 stars
Tabitha Thompson is the sister of Cal, the hero in the first Novella, Things Liars Say. She’s feisty and smart and is hiding a big secret from her family. She’s secretly a romance author. But she doesn’t think that is something her family would be please about, so she writes under a pen name.
Collin Keller is the brother of Grey, the heroine from Things Liars Say. He’s gorgeous, witty and he just about screams sex. The first time Tabitha sees him; she misreads a situation, is totally embarrassed and tries to friend zone Collin. Only Collin-he’s not staying in any friend zone corner.
Oh, who am I trying to kid? I’d date the shit out of him in a heartbeat because nice, funny, respectful guys aren’t easy to fine. In fact, they’ve become more of an urban legend than a reality. However, the fact remains, he is Grey’s brother and for whatever reason, I find the thought of dating him a bit strange.
Tabitha soon finds out that Collin plays dirty. Who wouldn’t want to get down and dirty with this guy?
The format for this novella is the same as Things Liars Say. Funny little texts, lots of back and forth banter and great writing!
He makes me feel clever and funny. He makes me feel desirable. He makes me hopeful. Ugh. How annoying.
Things Liars Fake 3. 5 Stars
This finale novella in the series fell a little flat for me. That’s probably due to my own personal taste. I don’t mind a nerdy girl/hot guy story, but the nerdy guy/hot girl-not so much.
Daphne Winthrop is best friends with Tabitha, the heroine of Things Liars Hide. She too is beautiful and outgoing. She’s not easily impressed by the pretty boy type-sop when she spots a nerdy guy with glasses, a print shirt and vest she’s smitten.
Dark, tousled hair, the Straggler effortlessly dons a gingham plaid shirt, neatly tucked under a preppy blue sweater vest, and a belted pair of navy khakis. His own concession to casual: rolled shirt sleeves pushed to his elbows.
Two opposite sides of the spectrum, but the attraction is certainly there. When Dexter Ryan finds himself in quite the pickle, he ends up convincing Daphne to go along with the charade of the two of them as a couple. How pretend turns to reality is the gist of the story.
“Mom. I’m sorry you’re upset, but I’m telling the truth. Daphne is just my friend. IN fact –we’ve only met twice. I don’t know what B told you, but we’re not dating.”
Surprisingly, Dexter is Daphne’s cup of tea and she makes no bones about getting what she wants.
“Mmm…you would be surprised at how…your tongue feels so good…many women find glasses and bowties and suspenders sexy.” “I only need one woman to find it sexy.”
I like the novelty of three novellas in one book from the same author. It works, it kept my attention and I would certainly recommend it.
Greyson lied about inventing a fake boyfriend, Tabitha lied about being an author and hid her books from everyone, and I lied about being Dexter’s girlfriend. What pretty little liars we all turned out to be; thank god everything ended well for us.
This novella was the cutest. Fun little story about Grayson Keller, a sorority girl making up a fake boyfriend so her friends can back off, but turns out her “fake boyfriend” is very much real, and extremely pissed off about being used.
Did Cal “the fake boyfriend”- expect to find a gorgeous blonde when he finally met the person who has been using his name”? Hell nah.
I have already said this, but I swear the cuteness factor was all over the place. Loved how confident and flirting Grayson was. It was a nice change, when we usually see it the other way around. With the guy being the more “aggressive flirt”. She was a delight.
Cal was a total sweetheart, and totally awkward with the whole dating thing. It was awesome😂
A lot of the book consisted of SMS and emails, and I would have preferred a little less of that, but then again, that’s how their relationship formed, and it was sweet.
Read: 12/04/2019 1st rating: 3.5 stars Genre/sub-genres: College/New adult romance/sport Cover: 3 stars POV: Dual -1st person. (Grayson & Calvin)(+ Tabitha as epilogue)) Will I recommend: YES SARA NEY IS MY SPIRIT ANIMAL!
THINGS LIARS HIDE REVIEW:
The cuteness is REAL!
A light little novel from Sara Ney.
Tabitha is working for her family’s business in construction. She also got a secret. She writes. Loves to write, and haven’t told a soul. Until Collin stumbles over her secret, and she finds out whether or not sharing her passion with a man she finds attractive, sweet and kind is worth it. Also did I mention it’s her brothers new girlfriends BIG BROTHER! This is bound to stir trouble👏
Read: 17/04/2019 1st Rating: 3 stars Genre/sub-genres: New adult romance Cover: 2 stars POV’s: Dual - 1st person - (Tabitha & Collin+ 1 chapter with Daphne) Will I recommend: Yes, it’s short, light and sweet.
THINGS LIARS FAKE REVIEW:
Of the 3 little novellas this was my favorite.
Dexter was super sweet and nerdy. Such a dork and I loved it. Daphne was THE BEST! I LOVED how she went on a man-hunt to get his ass! Her attempts were hilarious, and I respect the hell out of how brave she was!
This book was light and sweet and unproblematic.
Read: 20/04/2019 1st rating: 4 stars Genre/sub-genres: New adult romance/nerds Cover: 2 stars POV’s: Dual - 1st person (Daphne & Dexter) Will I recommend: Yes.
What happens when you make up a boyfriend?? Of course he shows up at your door This was such a cute little romance: I loved the way it’s written with all of tweets, e-mails and texts. I think Sara showcase really well how young minds works with miss-reading the signals. This is written that you have a feeling like you’re watching Hallmark movie – just a bit cheesy but still can't stop watching or in my case reading :)
BOOK 2 * THINGS LIARS HIDE *
I love Collin – I was laughing out loud while ready his POV’s. I loved how he “made” Tabitha go out with him or how he always encourage her to come out and admit that she wrote a novel.
Tabitha is a bit self-concusses in thinking that her parents won’t approve of her writing. Collin is such a sweetheart with his encouragement and support. I felt that Tabitha did go a bit overboard when the truth came out but I still love her.
The best part of the story – his love letter – ooo be still my heart <3
BOOK 3 * THINGS LIARS FAKE *
One word – DEXTER <3 I can't even begin to explain how much I loved him; smart, funny, good-looking nerd (*sighs*), a bit dense but i can look past that. My favorite character in the wholes series. Daphne is beautiful, sweet, smart, a (big) nerd herself. When she and Dexter get ambushed at the movies by his aunt, he asks her to be his pretend GF for his cousins engagement party.
With a little »push« from Dexter's family (in the form of younger sisters – the twins are hilarious!) they find that they belong together.
This book is my favorite in the series.

The first novella of Cal and Grey was great. I love their connection and how they came about meeting. It made me laugh a couple times. Especially when he told her the reason why he was on her for steps. This novella was short and cute.
The second novella was about Tabitha and Collin. Tabitha is Calvin's sister and Collin is Greyson's brother. The way these two meet is so funny. This one seemed too rushed and I didn't feel the connection like I did with the first novella. It was just okay fire me.
The third novella is about Daphne and Dexter. I don't remember much from this one. I felt like I just skimmed this last one. I just didn't connect with these characters.
Okay. This series of novellas hit the spot. Cal and Grey were probably my favorite of the three, but that's mostly because I adore (sometimes) arrogant, (often) crude jocks who unwittingly fall for a special someone out of the blue. That said, I did enjoy all three novellas. They were more fun than...Uhh, I can't think of anything off the top of my head. Just insert something fun here and go with it.
Things Liars Said - Cal and Grey. Like I said, my favorite of the couples. Mostly because Cal was just so stunned that someone like Grey would go for a guy like him. Plus, I got a kick out of their emailing and texting (something which happens in each of the stories, it was just cuuuuute). I liked that they became friends before they took it further (I like it when it happens the other way, too, but their relationship was so freaking cute I, man. So.Freaking.Cute.) and that they both went out of their way to surprise the other. Which sounds kinda dorky when I say it, because that's what people do in relationships, but it was ADORABLE on them, okay? Adorable.
Things Liars Hide - Not going to lie, Tabitha's freak out at first seeing Collin was hilarious. Her conclusion-jumping was top notch and I totally appreciate how utterly mortifying that entire experience had to have been. She was extremely dedicated to avoiding the poor guy after, too. Good thing Collin's not a quitter, right? His pursuit of Tabitha was pretty relentless. In a good way. While I don't necessarily think Tabitha's big secret was all that shocking, I could see where she was coming from. Expectations are tough, man. Especially when we're talking about family.
Things Liars Fake - Daphne and Dexter were...well, it took them a while to both get on the same page. He's determined to keep himself in the friend zone simply because he can't imagine a woman like Daphne liking him for him. Fat lot he knew, huh? Daphne's just as geeky as Dexter is when it all comes down to it. Their combined nerditude did my heart proud.
Sara Ney first hit my radar with her How to Date a Douchebag series. Loving those books, I was interested in reading this set of novellas. Typically, I'm not a huge fan of novellas. I like a long meaty book. But having these three interconnected stories bundled up in one nice little package was amazing.
This author knows how to write funny, sexy and angsty. The Three Little Lies series is no exception. They had me laughing and swooning. The heroines and heroes were perfectly matched and the dialogue was so on point. If you're not reading this author and are a fan of the New Adult genre, you should be. I'm kicking myself for putting off reading these books.
Nothing makes me happier as a reader than being surprised and entertained by a book or series I can really sink my teeth into. And this series made me extremely happy. I really needed these books in my life.
4 fun and sexy stars for the #ThreeLittleLies series!
THINGS LIARS SAY Rating: 5
Greyson Keller did not set out to lie to her friends, but when they won't stop badgering her about having a date to her sorority's Gala, she panics and invents a boyfriend. Making up a faux Twitter account and mushy tweets draws the eye of the REAL Cal Thompson, who can't believe some dude named Grey is claiming to be his boyfriend! Intent on confronting the asshole, Cal storms to Grey's house only to find out that he's a she, and she is gorgeous! After telling Cal the truth, the two form an unlikely pen pal type friendship, which morphs into something MORE. Cal's not the pretty fraternity boy type, he's a brutish rugby player with scars and a nose that's been broken one too many times and he can't quite fathom that someone as hot and classy as Grey is into him. But hell if he won't take it and run with it!
I do not like NA/YA books as a rule, however THINGS LIARS SAY was so fun and flirty and different that I couldn't help but fall in love with Grey and Cal! Most of the story takes place through tweets, texts and emails, which gives a really interesting look at the development of a relationship. The two had wicked chemistry, and I loved that every time they met up they couldn't keep their hands off each other! There was only one (seriously delicious and aww-inducing) sex scene in THINGS LIARS SAY, but the humor, heat and fun of this novella kept me engaged and wanting more!
THINGS LIARS HIDE Rating: 4
Tabitha Thompson is disgustedly happy for her brother Cal's sickly sweet relationship with Grey, and if she's honest with herself, just a wee bit jealous.
A case of mistaken identity has her embarrassing herself in front of Grey's brother, Collin Keller, the hottest guy she's ever seen. He's the perfect inspiration for the next hero in the smutty romance novels she writes…on the down low. But he's also a grade-A asshole, and she knows he knows her secret…that she's a published romance author! But it's weird… the more that Collin forces her to meet him, the more she likes him, until the two of them can't stay away from one another! When will Tabitha embrace her burgeoning career and stop hiding her true self?
I am loving this #ThreeLittleLies series! Book 2, THINGS LIARS HIDE was super cute and sexy, and while it wasn't as unique as book 1, nevertheless I really enjoyed it. Collin and Tabitha had mad chemistry, and her internal push and pull of desire versus annoyance made me smile. Colin was sooo romantic, and the date scene with the roses? Fuggetaboudit. There was only one big sex scene, and it was hot hot hot but left me wanting more more more!
THINGS LIARS FAKE Rating: 4
Daphne Winthrop has never in lust with a dork, but Dexter Ryan has something about him that intrigues her. Maybe it's the way he nervously pushes up his glasses…or maybe it's her suspender fetish that gets her going. After a run in at the movies has them watching together, Dexter's aunt spies them and tells his whole family about his new GIRLfriend, he's in somewhat of a pickle. Admit to his mom that Daphne isn't really his woman or convince her to play along…is there even a choice? As adorkable as Dexter is, he's absolutely clueless when it comes to women, so Daphne will have to make sure she's giving him nothing to be confused about.
THINGS LIARS FAKE is the 3rd novella in the #ThreeLittleLies series, and as big of a goofy nerd that Dexter is, I absolutely adored him! I wish Daphne would've been more overt in her pursuit instead of letting her shy side show, but the two of them dancing around each other made me smile. They were both so dorky and cute that I couldn't help but fall for them both. And the sex scene at their friends' house? Epic. This is my first series by Ms. Ney, but it won't be my last! How To Date A Douchebag series is calling my name too! I'm super excited to read more of this author!
Bottom Line: No OM/OW or sharing; mixed condom use; no BDSM/kink; no sexual assault; no violence/murder.
Things Liars Say: Greyson meets Cal when he comes to town looking to beat up the 'guy' who made up a relationship with him. Except its not a guy at all. 😉 He thinks she's out of his league. She thinks he's fine as f*ck! Bumbling their way thru distance, his insecurities n falling in love. I loved Greyson. She was that innocent sweet ray of sunshine with a streak of dirty in her. Cal was also pretty awesome. He put Greyson before rugby. *swoon* Their passion was delicious n fi🔥ry!! 💦 It was super adorable!
Things liars hide: Time for Cals sister Tabitha n Greysons brother Collin. In an awkward, messy first meeting Collin is enchanted immediately. He finds out her big scary secret (🙄) n they end up chatting alot. Basically instalove. Not as much spiciness as the 1st story. Tabitha fights it for a nanosecond (lol!) n ends up spilling her own secret but blames poor innocent Collin!! I didn't like that about her. She's the most immature of all the main characters.
Things liars fake: Hoooo yaaass!!! 🌶🔥💦🌶🔥💦😍❗🔥❗ Sexy nerd H n hot nerd h. This couple was ON F🔥re! Their meet cute was while at a theater watching a nerdy movie alone but they ended up together for it. She's beyond into him. He can't comprehend how someone so beautiful would want him so doesn't believe it can happen. They run into his aunt who tells everyone they're together so he asks her to be his fake date. She wants more. Guess who's in here!! The adorable Ryan twins Lucy n Amelia from Switch Hitter! Only they're younger here. These mischievous lil devils concoct plans to get them together. Its adorable. The sexual tension n chemistry is off the charts!! Lol! Daphne is such a pervert. That girls mind is as dirty as a teenage boys! 😂 Whew!! 😤 Those sex scenes are panty melting!! I particularly enjoyed the one where Daphne nerds out sexily for Dexter n he pounces. 😆🤓😉
Three Little Lies is the combination of all of Sara Ney’s #ThreeLittleLies novellas. Each book has its own main characters, but it is best to read them in order because each one introduces us to the characters that will be starring in the next book. You could read them as standalone novellas and not in order, but that could ruin some of the fun. Here are my thoughts on each book…
Things Liars Say – ★ ★ ★ ★ I adored this novella! It was hilarious how Greyson and Cal met and fell in love. There wasn’t anything I didn’t love about it. It was exactly what I expect from a Sara Ney romance.
Thing Liars Hide – ★ ★ ★ ★ The way this book started out KILLED ME! It was so perfect. Collin and Tabitha were perfect. I completely got why Tabitha lied the way she did. I loved that Collin knew what was up. Too cute!
Things Liars Fake – ★ ★ ★ ★ Adorkably cute. That is how I would describe Dexter and Daphne. They were both so awkward and yet fit together perfectly. I loved how Dexter’s family played such a big part in their story.
Overall, this series of novellas was fun, hilarious, and sweet. I adored them all, but I did have a few things that bugged me a bit. One, they all heavily use texting or email in them. I like how they were used, but it’s relied on almost too much when used in all three novellas. Second, all of these stories, with the exception of the first novella, felt too rushed. I really wish they weren’t novellas but full length novellas. That’s probably just me being greedy, though. I wanted more…
This book was just okay for me. I didn’t mind the fact that most of their relationship was through text and email. They got to know each other that way after meeting because of a lie. Greyson thought she made up her boyfriend not realizing of course that there was a real guy out there, and pretty close by at that. Cal thought he had a stalker who was a dude and he went to confront “him”. I think the problem was the way they talked in real life, especially the dirty talk. It just seemed stilted and not very sexy. Overall I did enjoy the book.
Things Liars Hide 3 stars
Tabitha and Collin meet for the first time at a store. They have a connection though because she is Cal’s sister and he is Greyson’s brother. Tabitha has been keeping a secret from everyone and Collin figures it out at their second chance meeting. There is a little drama toward the end of the story and Tab’s reaction was kind of asinine. I didn’t really understand her reaction to her secret coming out, especially since it was her that did the accidental reveal.
Things Liars Fake 4 stars
This book is Daphne and Dex’s story. It was my favorite out of the three books in this series. Daphne and Dex meet when they are out one night with their friends. They find out that they have mutual friends in common and end up spending time together. This was a sweet, quick, drama free read. It included an epilogue that shows where each couple is in their relationships.
One little fib = two happy people Cal + Grey = yum! I loved the whole concept of this book. One little fib, especially posted online, can cause all sorts of things to happen with the world watching it unfold. In this case, it worked out rather well. It was fun, flirty and had just enough spice to really heat things up.
That first look You gotta love in when siblings of siblings click. Secrets never stay secret for long and Tabitha's was a big one. A slightly naughty one. ;) He was "ridiculously good-looking" -Tabitha's own words and he was persistent. A bit devious in the way he pursued her but oh man was she going to let him. When Colin first saw her, he was stunned. She was beautiful. And when she opened her mouth? Firstly, spirited. When he saw her again and discovered her secret. Hot. Just hot. And brilliant. She was everything. He wanted her and wouldn't stop until he got her.
Absolutely Adorkable There's something about a nerd...Dexter, jeez I love that name. And the description, I can see him in his suspenders now. Love how he didn't have the "cojones" to actually ask Daphne out. Love the meddling gangster twins. Love how assertive and confident that Daphane was and love how they come together. Awesome story!
I became an instant Sara Ney fan after reading her Douchebag Series so I jumped at the chance to read these three novellas. I went in completely blind and after the first 5 percent I was hooked. These stories are all interconnected which is something I really liked. It gave them a sense of being one story but three different chapters about different couples. One of the strong suits of these stories are the fact that each story has a completely different set up, and it just works. Furthermore, these books are written with Sara Ney's signature comic sense and I was full on laughing several times, and other times has me swooning over these hero but there was one Dexter who really ran of with my heart. But what really captured my heart and is something I haven't encountered a lot of if the fat that primarily book one (Things Liars Fake) is the incorporation of social media and whoosh makes this book really relevant and relatable in this day and age. Personally I liked the first and third story more than the second as I felt it dragged a little compared to the other two. All in all I spent a few days reading and loving these books, which is why Three Little Lies gets 4 stars.
Things Liars Say *4 stars Cute! But, I found it unrealistic that Cal, a so very not-in-touch-with-his-feminine-side kind of guy, used words like cork wedge sandals, jean capri, and crinoline, when describing the things Greyson wore.
Things Liars Hide *3 stars It was okay. I really liked Collin. Tabitha kind of annoyed me some. She got mad at Collin, not because he revealed her secret (which HE didn't, not any more than she did), but because SHE lied in the first place, and continued to keep her secret for a year! She knew the blame was all hers, but still shut him out! Kinda made me think she's a bit of a self involved drama queen!
Things Liars Fake *3 stars Again, it was okay. This time it was the guy, Dexter, that annoyed me. I get he thought Daphnie was out of his league, but he kind of pussed out a few times, when he knew she was feeling something for him. He needed to man up, and it was a little frustrating that there was no progess until the very end.

All 3 stories are cute and independent of one another, but read like a well connected story. Kind of like a “Love, Actually” of novels. I really like all of the characters, they were each developed well enough and I enjoyed each story line. I love that the author intertwined characters from other stories and if you read enough of her books you start to spot them all. I really like that it makes my brain think overtime, connect the characters and the stories, and keep them separate and together at the same time. I really enjoy this author’s work. Well written, romantic tension, and cute story lines. Based on other reviews you think you’ll love Greyson & Cal’s story the best-and you kind of do, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I truly liked them all.
I liked these stories. Really cute but despite their being novellas, I had a difficult time really getting into them. Because I hate to be a quitter, I continued thru each story and I'm glad I did. If they had been longer, I may not have committed to them and honestly, I'm don't have a reason why. They each were good stories so I hope I'm not discouraging someone from reading them. Each story is a "oops, how did this happen " kind of story. The girls are all described as out of the league of the guys which was refreshing. It seems like it's always the other way around. There were funny moments and how they get together is original. Give these a chance!
Things Liars Say is book 1 in the #ThreeLittleLies Series. I really enjoyed Things Liars Say and can't wait to continue with the series. I loved Greyson and Calvin. Things Lairs Say is my favorite book in the series.
Things Liars Hide 5 out of 5 Stars
Things Liars Hide is the 2nd book in the #ThreeLittleLies Series. I really enjoyed Things Liars Hide and can't wait to continue with the series. I loved Tabitha and Collin.
Things Liars Fake 5 out of 5 Stars
Things Liars Fake is the 3rd book in the #ThreeLittleLies Series. I really enjoyed Things Liars Fake. I loved Daphne and Dexter.
I ,over reading the three stories in his series. Sara Ney just seems to have a way of making her books so enjoyable, so easy to read, funny and they make you feel good. What more can I say. All three stories were linked together by the characters, all had their own quirky storylines but all great fun to read. My favourite was Daphne and Dexter’s story. Although Tabitha and Collins story was funny with all the dirty romance story telling.
Things Liars Say - 3.25 stars A short and sweet college (sort of) friends to lovers romance. Rugby player, Collin and sorority girl, Greyson. HFN ending.
Things Liars Hide - 3 stars I didn’t like this as much as the first one. This was an Adult romance. Cal’s older sister, Tabitha (she’s secretly an erotica romance writer) and Greyson’s older brother, Collin. Tabitha was a bit annoying. But I really liked Collin. HFN ending.
Things Liars Fake - 3.5 stars This was my favorite in the series. I love the nerdy Hero’s. The sexy, in a geeky kind of way. Dexter and Daphne are both lovers of sci-fi (Daphne is a geek at heart). But Daphne is gorgeous, so Dexter doesn’t think he stands a chance. But with the help of Dexter’s meddling teenage twin sisters, Dexter finally gains the courage to ask her out on a “real” date. Too adorable.
Gahhhhh. I freaking loved this book! Sara has a way with creating such lovable characters. I loved each couple, and I honestly can't pick which novella was my favorite. Each story has a lot goofiness with major touches of feelings (does that make sense?)! I can't wait to read the rest of her books! She's yet to disappoint me.
Wow! So good! I loved each of these novellas! Grayson amd Cal, Collin and Tabitha and oh my gosh Daphne and Dexter! Holy wow sexy dexy! They were each such fun, cute and endearing couples and it just goes to show you that maybe sometimes a little lie, even a white lie can be a good thing.
From made up boyfriend name to mistaken identity to a very adorable couple this series is fantastic lots of laugh out loud moments through emails and text messages between all of the couples this series is a major page-turner and I highly recommend it and its author
This was so good. So funny. Several laugh out loud moments, and all charming, characters. Personally, I favor the last book, because NERDS! In LOVE! With diabolical twin sister action!
But the other two are good, too. All are interrelated, and it’s better to read them in one go, like, in this box set!
These three short stories were very cute. I think they would’ve been great as longer, stand-alone books but enjoyed they way The were tied together at the end. Very enjoyable reads overall. They did lack a climax for each, which could be why they’re grouped together like this. I enjoyed them each because the characters were fun and relatable.
Loved this! Three novellas in one book. Tells the story of three different couples who are actually connected through family/friends.
I love Sara Ney's writing and characters. This was cute, sweet, hot - no unnecessary drama, and quick and enjoyable reads. Love the banter between her characters!
