It covered the basics of the credit requirements and intents and purposes for the different core themes in LEED certifications. It has a practice test in the back with answers as well as 5 question quizzes at the end of each section. I would have like more examples of LEED projects in action, but as a test prep book it was sufficient.
I read this book as part of a LEED GA exam prep class. Like the core concepts book, I felt like this book was really vague. Can I pass the exam? Yes. Do I feel like I understand the LEED program? A bit. Will I be taking the exam? No. Not unless an employer requires it.
I passed the exam, it is a good book but only cover 80% of questions, in my opinion. But in the end it's the exam practice that matters. The rigorous exam prep from GBES helped me quite a lot.
