This book was absolutely fantastic... anybody going through self development whether they are separating or not should read it. It's a good reminder to those who need it to take a little time for yourself, and give yourself a break.
This book is incredibly beautifully presented, and is filled with lots of lovely tips for self-care. It has a very positive and optimistic outlook on new beginnings and seeing opportunities in change. That said, it won't help with the day to day realities of money, children, property and so forth, but the author does not promise that it will. I think that it is a beautiful and positive gift to give a friend who is feeling like shit after a break-up, to remind them that they are worth something nice, and to give them a few pointers for concentrating on themselves and behaving gracefully whilst being dumped.
Lots of inspirational insights. It's all about perspective and choice of actions. Great ideas for distractions and activities for your breakup journey. Choose your own life, choose love, choose to smile ☺
This book is really, really, ridiculously good-looking. But apart from its gorgeous pages, it's filled with lots of beautiful and wise advice for anyone going through a rough time in life. Love it. <3
I've decided I love Lisa Messenger and her perspective of the world. This book would have been perfect for me earlier in the year but now I feel like I've moved on enough to not garner as much from it as I could. I still was able to take a lot away from it which prooves its goodness.
Easy to read, lots of practical advice which is really relatable if you’ve been through a break up. Moreso written if someone has left you though rather than if you’ve left them.
I am currently going through a marriage breakup and found this beautifully composed book a great reminder about the importance of self care. Of course it doesn't solve all the issues but gives great advice and gorgeous quotes and pictures that help you to see a light at the end of a very dark tunnel. Thank you Lisa for writing such a wonderful book to help others.
Better than her previous book that I read (money and mindset) in my opinion; however, I felt that the book was mainly written for females. it seems that women are only get dumped and it's not the other way around at all. on the bright side, there are good tips that they are really useful.
