What are Your socks up to at night when you are fast asleep? Dancing?Climbing out the window and heading for adventures down the road?Would you ever think they might be having some adventures withoutYou? Hmmm. And, my goodness, are your Undies going dancing too?Well, to find out what’s going on in the dark, give a read to this little bookand check out what Danny has to say. The kids will love it!
This was a fun read at bedtime, a very imaginative story about what ordinary clothing gets up to outside of the hamper. My grandson now thinks that he knows why he keeps missing socks. I'll never tell him how the dryer is really the culprit. That's just too scary!
As some reviewers said, I got awkward when underwears were included. The story would have been fine except for this. It's not just the undies but how they were described. A kid needs not know about his mother's lacy red underwear or his sister's underwear with a bow. That ruined the story for me.
My children love these little books. They thoroughly enjoy each and every story, as if they are all unique and individual without any cause for similarity among them. Even though sometimes, they might seem tedious and repetitive to me as a parent, I do enjoy being able to read short-stories to my children that are clean and respective.
Danny knows how to get ready for bed. 1 night his socks came alive. The Dancing Socks danced to my sister’s room, my parent’s room, then back down the hall to my room.

An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn black & white pictures, & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) sock adventure storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s sock adventure movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. It was just OK for me so I will only rate it at 3/5 stars.

Due to the Civid 19 quarentine I have started reading and video taping books. My 4 year old granddaughter LOVED it. She asks to have the video of the book replayed daily. She wants me to read it when I can be there in person.
A truly enchanting, delightful imaginative rhyming story about a little lad spying on his socks at night- discovers they all go to the park and dance! The illustrations highlight the story very nicely!
An amazing book of imagination. All rhyming even. If I had little ones, this would be the perfect bed time story. And the illustrations are wonderful too. And I'm a 67 year old elder. Highly Recommended. 5/5
A cute little story to read to the children. Dancing socks create excitement and make the children happy. Short and attention grabbing for the young ones. Not meant for adults but great for under six.
This is a cute story about clothes left out that come to life at night. It has a very cute rhyme and the illustrations are darling. My little one liked it.
Every night when Danny gets ready for bed, he just tosses his socks on the floor. His socks came alive. They went to his sister's room. Mommy and daddy's socks came next. They started singing, "Let's dance!". Danny followed behind but did not want the socks to see. They went to a window. Where are they going? Should he tell someone? The illustrations are crisp and clean to where the socks look like they are dancing. The story is engrossing and you will want to keep turning pages. This imaginative bedtime story will keep your young children with good dreams and fun s I found this book on a Kindle Unlimited website and so can you.
This book is a fun romp. Children will get a kick out of the silly storyline. Illustrations are light and delightful matching the light and silly feel of the text. My concerns are two. One is the title talks about socks, but ends up talking about underwear, also. Not sure that was necessary...didn't seem to fit. Also, at some points in the story, when reading aloud, the rhymes and rhythm got "sticky" and were a bit off. Other than that a silly tale that kids will enjoy!
