Rate this book
Strangers on a plane – his blue eyes captured her heart, his kiss haunted her dreams, but her career mattered too much. She let him go with a backward glance, to pursue the opportunity of a lifetime. She didn’t even get his name, but she couldn’t get him out of her mind.

Years later, they find each other on an international flight. This time the handsome stranger won’t let Jordan go without his name or her number in his phone… and one more amazing kiss to keep her smiling until they meet again.

She is his high-class, gypsy wanderer. He is the strong, blue-collar soul her heart calls home. They marry in Vegas on a whim, in a moment of irresponsibility and pent-up passion. Jordan’s determination to succeed at work drives her to a decision she keeps from her husband. Their new-found love is strong, but her secret pulls them apart.

She knows she needs to tell him – she doesn’t know if he will ever forgive her. Will he stay or will the love of her life leave once he knows the truth behind the tension? Can their love overcome the odds stacked against them?

Wow. The third book in a loose series by Lucy just doesn't disappoint. You don't need to have read the first two for it to make sense though.
Knowing a bit more about the author now than with her first book, I recognise "bits" of her in the story, whether intentional or not.
A beautiful love story with feet planted firmly on one side in Fate & on the other side in Passion. Rather sensitive topics are dealt with that you wouldn't 'usually' associate in a romance novel, but rather than detract from the story they fill out the characters & make them more flesh & blood. That said, all of her books so far that I have read have touched on sensitive issues that make you think a bit deeper & expose you as reader to issues outside your personal comfort zone. I managed to finish this one without sobbing, can't say the same for the first two!
I'm already looking forward to her next offering.
A point I personally liked was after the ending, Lucy gives you more information on the sensitive topics she touched on. All the abouts - from a brief description to links where there is more information & help.
(I was given a copy of this novel for free in exchange for my honest review)
