With his future plans derailed Darious looked to his cousin for a new road map. He needed guidance and his cousin’s blessing to enter into a world filled with endless possibilities. Now the former ball player wears the crown and with the crown comes responsibilities like no other. In this game of life there are many pawns, knights, and queens, but there can only be one KING!
This book was very poorly edited. I was never quite sure who was speaking, as the sentences just ran together. Most of the the story was very vague, and it seem to just jump around from one "story line" to the other. There seemed to be a build up to something big, but then it fell flat.
I guess I'll never know what happens, because I won't be buying the other parts. However, good looking out on repping my city in book!
Interesting that Queen and Face are even a couple. Curious to see how their story will play out. These snitches keep popping up geees I agree with Biggies motto lol
A PAGE TURNER!! You don't know who to trust. Strange how King and Queen (yes that's her name) ended up together I hope King make it Vance need to go down a devil and snitch. Doc still doing his thing. But who will survive.
This was a really great read... He is becoming one of my fav authors I know there are a lot of great ones but if I pick up something I want to be sucked in by the story and not reading the same story with different names. So I'm really picky about what I read. I really feel like they killed off a lot of the characters that I would have like to see in the second book but I haven't picked it up yet
