*** Spoiler alert ***
I honestly don't know how i feel about this series. I absolutely 💯 LOVE the world building. That is amazing. But Lucy's constant back and forth between Jens and Foss and peace and violence and anger/hatred and forgiveness gave me whiplash. She isn't very consistent unless she's just consistently confused herself.
My top 5 fave characters, in this order:
Foss
Tucker
Jamie
Kristoffer
Linus
********** SPOILERS AHEAD **********
I honestly was hoping for more for Foss. The amount of character development he went through is astonishing and i loved every bit of it. After learning about the curse and even witnessing Jamie undergo a similar curse, it was amazing to see Foss do something as simple as handing a pregnant Britta a cup of water without being asked or prompted to. I hate to admit this as it's probably unpopular opinion but I was Team Foss. I understand how Jens fell in love with Lucy as he was kind of a stalker. But Lucy barely knew him and was somehow head over heels. Even after the Bedra incident. She just loved his cookie smell and his good looks. Idk I wasn't a huge fan. Maybe I'm too much of a sucker for the enemies to lovers trope that I truly hoped for Foss to be end game. And ok, even though he wasnt end game he still deserved a happy ending. Maybe not with Lucy but I was hoping for an epilogue with him maybe courting another woman or planning on it🤷♀️
The ending felt a tad rushed. I want to know how everyone's faring in Undraland. Not just Foss but all of the lands. But especially Foss lol.
Guardian gnomes retiring and giving garden gnomes. Bruh I'll never look at garden gnomes the same lol. World building was phenomenal but the female lead was annoying. Not to mention the ADD. Omg Jamie's in danger...one page later...omg let's get married yaaaay I'm so happy and in love with you Jens! So much so that I no longer give a 💩about Jamie and his endangered life, even though Tucker and Jamie have been running thru my mind all day😒🙄
Not sure if it was worth the $20 to read the whole series. But I can guarantee I've def read far worse. I was gonna give this series 3 stars but the more I thought about I changed it to 4 because the plot and world building deserve it. The love story and female leads morals lost that star lol

Absolutely wonderful, I couldn't put it down!
I don't usually write reviews but the Undraland series moved me to. It is absolutely wonderful, I couldn't put it down! The writing is unique & humorous, but the story is not for the faint of heart. It has become one of my favorite series & I will always treasure having it in my library, thank you Mary E. Twomey for allowing us to share in this amazing adventure!

I love the characters this author writes. The main characters are just grungy enough to be believable and I found myself rooting for them again and again. I would have been happy if this series ended at book six but I liked the last three books to wrap up the loose ends that I didn't even know we're there.

Awesome
From start to finish I found it hard to put down. The entire journey like “Alice in wonderland” meets “Avatar”, War of the World. Lucy’s imagination, quotes novel names & the love she has for all of mankind. Such a powerful queen “Queen Lucy” from the humans

Loved every minute
I binged the entire series in a week. The characters were well written and the details of Undraland were a nice escape from The Other Side (earth for us muggles).

Exceptional writing.
Save yourself money and buy all the boxed sets. I will definitely re- read this a second time. I’ve read several series but the writing for the dungeon scene W/ Jamie is phenomenal.

I definitely fell in love with the characters after the first three in the series. It didn’t take me long to grab the others and binge read to the end. I’d put this series on my to be read again shelf.

Great book
It's always sad when a story that you've enjoyed ends. There were a couple a things that bugged me little but overall I loved it

Perfect
This series was perfect. It had the best ending to the storyteller romance. The twist and turns is this whole series keeps you on your toes.
