This book is honest and concise about what you need to study and what not to study. It is a time-saver and has two practice tests in it. There are also a lot of reading recs and resources that can supplement your study. Really glad I got this.
Unfortunately, they have since changed the test so the information and practice test is out of date. Specifically, the third section is now called situational judgement. The questions are Ok, though they are more difficult than the free practice exam that the Department of State offers online in the sense that they try to trick the test taker.
This has out of date information. The test has new sections. This is fine as a supplementary text, but don't purchase as your main source of study aid material. It has a decent reading list, but the state department puts out an extensive list.
