Book 4: Teepees and Trailer Parks (Series: Sweet Southern Sleuths Short Stories)
Loretta Sweet and her identical twin sister, Lacy, have recently inherited a home in Misery, Mississippi, from their distant relative, (Aunt) Tess McCoy.
Hope has a great imagination and I loved every book in the collection, but I think my favorite was Starboard Secrets. I really liked and admired Millie. Starting over and taking chances. I cannot wait to read Portside Peril. This collection also has three more series starters that I loved. I enjoyed the Christian element, very refreshing. If you're in the mood for good clean sleuthing, grab your copy and you will have four new series to love!
Fun cozy mysteries about a group of grannies that stick their noses where they don't belong, but find out things the sheriff isn't aware of and help his investigation. Of course, they get in plenty of trouble in the meantime. Cute series. Fun, easy read.
I won this book on Goodreads. I reads the first book of this series. It's a good mystery. It about a women name Gloria and her friends trying to prove her fiance innocent, of crime he didn't commit. This series so far as no bad languages. I recommend this book for a good mystery to read.

This boxed set contains four wonderful books written by Hope Callaghan. They all have well-plotted storylines, well-developed characters, and interesting mysteries to solve. There are lots of laughs and no adult language, graphic violence, or sexually explicit scenes. This boxed set was easy to read and each story held my interest. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading cozy Christian mysteries.
Who Murdered Mr. Malone?: This is the first book in the Garden Girls Christian Cozy Mystery series written by Hope Callaghan. Gloria Rutherford and her friends are delightful. Gloria lives in the quiet, small town of Belhaven, Michigan, but that quickly changes when a body is found in the woods behind the local elementary school. Gloria, with the help of her friends, is determined to find the person or people responsible for disrupting their community. She realizes she loves trying to solve a mystery and is able to uncover clues to help solve the mystery.
Starboard Secrets: This is the first book in the Cruise Ship Christian Cozy Mysteries Series written by Hope Callaghan. Mildred “Millie” Sanders is delightful and making major changes in her life. She is starting a new job as Assistant Cruise Director, meeting new people, making new friends and discovering that she has a knack for solving mysteries (and murders). Millie and the other characters in this book are normal people everyone can identify with, someone you might meet at a library, store, or stopping for a cup of coffee.
Waves of Deception: This is the first book in the Deception trilogy written by Hope Callaghan. It has an interesting storyline, laugh out loud moments, romance, intrigue, realistic dialog, and believable characters. There is no graphic violence, sexually explicit scenes, or inappropriate language in any of Ms. Callaghan’s books. This is an easy read with interesting characters and just the right mix of intrigue and romance to grab and hold the reader’s interest. The main character, Sam, goes on a cruise, meets some interesting people on board, and is involved in an intriguing adventure. I am looking forward to reading the next book to see what happens to Sam!
Teepees & Trailer Parks: This is the first book in the Sweet Southern Sleuths Short Stories written by Hope Callaghan. Loretta and Lacy Sweet are identical twins and believe they have inherited a southern-style mini-mansion in Misery, Mississippi from their Aunt Tess. The twins are delightful but their body styles and personalities are nowhere near identical. They learn the inheritance includes the house, a trailer park, and some Indian teepees; and there’s a big stipulation attached. Within moments of entering the house, a dead body is discovered in the bathtub. Since Loretta is interested in detective work, she decides to investigate and she finds a clue that is critical to Officer Phillip Gatlin’s investigation.
I enjoyed each of the cozy mysteries that were in this set.
Who Murdered Mr. Malone? This was the first book and it introduced us to Gloria Rutherford. When a body was discovered, Gloria was unable to resist returning to the crime scene over and over again. She was finding that she had quite a talent for discovering clues. A lovely story and there were other great characters were introduced along with her.
Starboard Secrets introduced us to Millie Sanders as she started a new job on a cruise ship. She is adjusting to the new job when a murder occurs. She is a really sweet woman that just keeps herself busy trying to solve this mystery. A really fun start to the series.
Waves of Deception is also set on a cruise but a lot of the action takes place on land. Sam is alone on the cruise and starts to feel that something just isn't as it seems with several of the people on the ship. She wants to know more about these people. There promises to be even more adventures and danger in her future with the rest of the series. Sam is a very strong character and I enjoyed her sense of adventure.
Teepees and Trailer Parks was set in Mississippi in the small town of Misery. Loretta Sweet and her twin sister Lacy have come to the small town to accept their inheritance from their aunt. They stumble onto a murder, colorful characters and one interesting policeman. It is going to be a fun series as the twins get along like oil and water.
It was a fun book with lots of great characters and this set reminds me of what I enjoy about cozy mysteries. They are great fun!
