Neon
Everyone thinks Orion is just like the rest of her family…crazy. When Orion starts hearing voices and seeing strange things, she thinks they might all be right. But when Jeronimo, Ginger Isle High’s tough guy and Orion’s personal tormentor, stumbles out of the forest after being presumed dead, he seems to be the only one sure of her sanity. Is there really something explainable happening or is Orion truly losing her mind?

This was such a fun and unique book and I had a blast reading it. I was so excited when Britt offered me this book in exchange for an honest review and I am so glad she did. This book had such a unique twist on aliens and it also dealt with mental health issues in a really cool way. I love Orion and Jeronimo and guys...Billy is the cutest thing ever. I adore Billy.
This book also has the beginning of a beautiful female friendship and I can't wait to see how it progresses.
Highly recommend if you want to have a great, sci-fi time!

What an awesome read!
Britt Nunes tackles sci-fi, and aliens in such an intriguing way that keeps you wanting more. The characters bring so much life to the story. From the well intentioned Clara, to the adorable little Mai. You will love them all. She also intertwines mental health into the story in a really great way. Can't wait to read more!
Definitely recommend.
By the way, Billy is my favorite. Mac has some great lines though.

It was an interesting read, I actually had no idea what it was going to be about, aliens or faeries, or maybe something new? The way the author wrote the supernatural beings of aliens, shapeshifters, and other species really intrigued me. They were different than what I'm used to, so it made me want to keep on reading to figure out how everything was going to fall in place, especially considering that Orion thought that she was going insane just like her mother.
The ending seemed rushed but there was also a lot of things that happened and left it open for the sequel.
Neon was a great introduction to the series and I look forward to reading more about the galaxy, Orion, Jeronimo, and the rest of the crew.
