Prayer: The Lost Discipline That Will Change Your Life
God hears and answers our prayers, but we must be proactive. We must open the window by kneeling before Him in prayer. Jesus says that we have not because we ask not. James tells us that the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much. Again and again, the holy scriptures reveal to us that prayer is an effective tool. This inspirational book shows you how to reclaim “the lost discipline that can change our lives.”

It has become a norm for most of us to pray when we wake up and when we go to sleep, yet we don't realize how this is only a routine in our lives and not exactly serving the purpose of a prayer. This book helped me to go back to the basics of prayer again, to know why its crucial to have these conversations with God, and why it may seem as God is not listening to my prayers.

An excellent book with information about the act of prayer for Christians: the book provides explanations and examples of prayers. They also provide specific prayers for specific events. The book serves its purpose to provide encouragement and instructions on why pray, how to pray, and when to pray.
