Step back into Idaho’s gold country with the three independent Hamilton sisters. Glory has little reason to trust men, especially a preacher in a smoky saloon who looks like an outlaw. Mandy to have a family home, but when she starts building a house on land already claimed by a Missouri man, it is a race to see who can establish their claim first. Joanna befriends an orphan boy, but she won’t risk her heart on his uncle, a cowboy wanderer who reminds her of her absentee father.
Linda Ford grew up devouring books and making up stories in her head—often late at night when she couldn't sleep. But she hadn't planned to write. Instead, she dreamed of running an orphanage. In a way, that dream came true. She married, had four homemade children, adopted ten and lived (at times, endured) the dream.
Writing first took her to non-fiction human-interest articles for newspapers and eventually a non-fiction book about tuberculosis set in the 1930s and 1940s (Touched By The White Plague). But romance had always been her first love and she turned to writing love stories. She is multi-published in the CBA market.
She lives on a small ranch in Alberta, Canada, where she can see the mountains every day. She and her husband continue to enjoy their children and grandchildren.
This is a collection of 3 novels in one. The Buffalo Gals are 3 sisters running businesses in Bonners Ferry Idaho. Their mother passed on and father wandered off to leave them on their own. These are smart gals who know how to survive. Their love stories are fun to read and I can understand the emotions that can get in the way of survival. I enjoyed these stories in my neck of the woods.
Well written. Story of three sisters and how they come to terms with their emotions caused by being left by their wanderlust father. How each came to terms with their past and found happiness. Enjoyable read. Liked the way the author dealt with the different emotions envolved
Enjoyed reading these Christian fiction historical love stories. The stories are about three sisters called the buffalo girls. You will have to read to find out why. Enjoy!
OMG... yet again, another collection of stories that just draaagged. I need to find a few shorter books and/or page turners. Or else I will not be able to reach my 2022 reading goal. Ekkkk!
I loved this book, even though some people may think it is predictable, I love predictable. This is a great book to read if you want clean romance. It is a Christian Romance Novel and it has 3 books in 1; each based on a different sister and there own romance. I don't know about you but I think it is awesome. Heads up if you like country pioneer based books this is a must considering it takes place in the Bonners ferry Idaho from Spring 1864 to Fall 1865. I Love this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you love predictability this may be a book you enjoy.
