Kharis and Caleb: A Different Kind of Love

Kharis was your normal teenager that couldn't wait to graduate high school. Her goal was to become an accountant and work her way up to run her own company. Unfortunately, before her 21st birthday changes had to be made in her life that would cause her to leave everything she once knew behind; including her mother.
Caleb was your average bachelor that ran through women like water. The problem was he wanted to settle down but never found anyone good enough to do that with.
When Kharis and Caleb finally meet face to face, sparks fly and a flame is ignited in both of them that won't allow either one of them to walk away; no matter what obstacles are placed in front of them. The two of them will take a journey unlike any other showing everyone that it's ok to have that different kind of love.

Changing My Life For You

I love me a good vampire story and this book was very good!!!…I love how torn Kharis was in trying to decide on turning Caleb because of the love and appreciation she has for his human characteristics!!!…
The way Greg’s character was written, his arrogance will stress you the futch out for real!!!…He wanted to be honest about what he desired, but couldn’t accept the honesty given back to him!!!…
Niles character was so hilarious and I love the curiosity in everything he was learning and the confidence he displayed in accepting what his fate might be to be with Irina!!!…
Irina was such a sweet character and I loved her and Niles together!!!…

Outstanding

Now that's a love story enjoyed how the story just flowed and the way they loved on each other. Niles was indeed a trip but loved how open and accepting he was to everything; now Caleb took a minute but when he was ready Kharis refused which only endangered him more, can't wait to see how things turn out in the finale and how many kids they will have next lol.

Crazy

Oh I think it was Misty and her mother who is trying to kill him. Greg and Gabe is on something and I think they are in it as well. I hope she changed him in enough time, if not them children is gonna be so hurt. I think Ava will be the one to set it off about her daddy.

In the urban world, the choices of paranormal are very limited. I enjoyed the story well enough to now be reading part 2, however, I do see where there could be some areas of improvement. In my opinion, the story lacked variety. The two lady vampire leads, Kharis and Irina, practically have the same story. They get with the guys, fall in love, and have multiple kids. Sometimes, I had to check back to see who’s chapter I was reading because essentially they are one in the same. We can all agree that vampires aren’t real, but there are certain things I felt were missing from the story. It didn’t give off the impression that anyone was scared or concerned that the characters were vampires. The biggest concern seemed to be that Khari could get pregnant again and that was a little off for me. I would think a human would at least be afraid, but then again I’m not a vampire expert.

If you’re looking for a quick read, I would suggest it. It’s not that long of a book, but it’s definitely different than your average urban read.

Unbelievable 5 Stars

Once again Tina J did her thing and came hard with this book. It's a different kinda storyline than what I'm use to from her but I love it!. I can't wait for part 2!! I really hope Caleb's & Kharis' relationship makes it through whatever is about to go down in part 2, I love the love they have for one another.

Good Read

This was really a good, quick read. I enjoyed the storyline. I like that it was different from the other urban authors out. The only thing that I didn't like was sometimes you didn't know who was speaking in conversation and what the timeline was. Sometimes the transitioning between different scenes were blurred. Other than that, I enjoyed the book.

Rocky start but overall interesting and a good read . Sometimes the timelines didn’t match up. Seems like the author thoughts were all over the place. So much more can been done with the tow woman vampires. Their stories didn’t have to be the same. Kinda of upsetting. I’m reading part 2 . Let’s see how it ends.
