It was pretty darn entertaining to read about this woman who bucked the societal standards of the times for her gender, and lived it up in doing so. As an added bonus, it was well written and this edition had some pictures. But if this woman were being written about and had lived in this century, the story would be written so differently! Something for women to thing about as they read the book.
